How to test a viewChild on Angular with Jest - Unit test? - unit-testing

I am having problems trying to test a viewChild on Angular with Jest.
Here my .ts component:

React Testing, using axios-mock-adapter

Deep down in the is a call axios post to /Hello but my function within the test is not called. I do not know if it has to do with the actual call being axios.request vs axios.post. I have tried switching to mock.onAny, but that did not seem to work. Not sure what to do here.

vitest failed to mock quasar

vi.mock("quasar"... is failing to mock quasar and I am getting below error. That means, it failed to mock and failed to get the $q.loading.... object.
TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'loading')
I understand that there is a separate testing lib for quasar, here but I think this is not really the case here.
Bordering on a necro-post, but I had a similar issue that the mocking factory wasn't creating the plugins being used in non-Vue components, and had to mock each call individually in the end.
Though I'd add it here for anyone else

Vitest gives no output

I'm new to testing and im trying to write some unit tests for my Vue app. The problem is that vitest givesno output and I cant figure out what is wrong. Any help would be apriciated.

Vue test utils incorrect value of computed

Hello I have checked the behaviour in application and it works with same data from api as I'm providing in mocked api call Api.contracts.getContractDetails.mockImplementationOnce(() => ({ data })); However, the value of hasWatermark computed is false - while it should be true.
How can I debug this? Is it possible to check computed in tests? This is my test:

How to unit test VueJS watcher on $route

I'm testing a Single file component that uses vue router to watch $route. The problem is that I can't get the test to both change the route and trigger the watcher's function.
The test file:

How do you mock router in such a way that you can watch it and test the watch method is working as you expect?
This is how I'm testing a watch on route change that adds the current route name as a css class to my app component:

Tested with vue#2.6.11 and vue-router#3.1.3.
I checked how VueRouter initializes $route and $router and replicated this in my test. The following works without using VueRouter directly:

Updating $route should always be done by replacing the whole object, that is the only way it works without using a deep watcher on $route and is also the way VueRouter behaves:
