Hi I have developed an iPhone app in which I am storing the NSMutableArray into NSUserDefaults. But now I want to sync the same NSMutableArray/NSUserDefaults to iCloud and also I want to retrieve from the iCloud.
Does anybody know how to do this.
Thanks in advance.
I needed something similar for my app. I wrote a library that saves to both iCloud and NSUserDefaults and put it on GitHub. It's called SDCloudUserDefaults.
Use NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore. See Apple's document, Storing Preferences in iCloud

I'm currently researching on how to use facebook API and collect its data thru streamsets and store it to S3. But facebook requires developer to create an app and verify it which somehow not applicable to what I'm doing right now. Is there other way to do this? like different process to access the Facebook API without creating an App?
While I'm happy to stand to be corrected, I do not believe this can be done.
It's not like you have to actually MAKE an app with your "app" - the app is simply an API key that has some associated data with it like titles and URLs and such. This also helps them track your usage and make sure you're following the rules, and block your key if you don't.
I want use another dashboard project based on Javascript to show data ,but I don`t know how to get the Statistical data. Is there any api or some way to get the data?
It would be better if you can share what kind of data do you want to portrait in your dashboard. Anyhow you can use the admin services available in ESB 6.5 to get the available data.

I would like to create a web application that would have access to the user's Apple Calendar for a personal project. But I really don't want to store the user's password.
With Google it was really easy using OpenAuth.
I know it is definitely possible as SunRise is doing it - http://techcrunch.com/2014/01/31/sunrise-calendar-stops-sending-icloud-credentials-to-their-servers/
I've searched Apple documentation and the closest thing i found was CloudKit. But it looks like it only provides a way to access your App's data across all the places. No mention of iCloud services.
Am i going in the right direction or is there a more direct way of doing this? Or is SunRise bluffing :)
I am working on a Google Glass application that will apply a filter and then take pictures. We used to use Card and TimelineManager to do this, but both were discontinued.
I'm currently using CardBuilder in replacement of Card, and I am able to take the photo and save it in Glass memory, but I would also like the photos to show up with the rest of the pictures taken outside my application (directly from Glass).
Most suggestions I found to publishing to Timeline require using Mirror. However, I don't want my application to require Internet access. Is there a way to publish to the Timeline without using Mirror?
I'm new to Glass and Android coding so any help will be appreciated :)
I've never tried TimelineManager before but I think Live cards is what you're looking for. It's used for publishing information to the timeline. No access to the internet required.
The doc has the sample code and some sample apps also use it.
Note: Static card is not supported by GDK as of now.
Hope this helps.
So there are two things. If you want the picture to appear to the left of the time (which would mean foreverish) then you want to use Live Card as suggested above. However, if you want to add it to the timeline (which is to the right of the time) then you can't add that via the GDK anymore.
Google felt that the Mirror API was built specifically for this and the Timeline Manager defeated the purpose of it so it was removed.
I've made a basic HTML5/JS comic creation tool that uses the canvas element.
I want users to be able to upload their comics via the Facebook API.
I don't believe Facebook allows posting images in the form of base64 strings from the canvas.toDataURI() method, and don't want to use my own server to convert these images & temporarily store them.
What's the best way to go about this? Possibilities I've wondered about: Convert canvas to blob? Store blob via web service (if so, suggestions?) Upload blob directly to Facebook? (Is that possible?)
I don’t see why this should not be possible doing a „normal” upload. You can create a new photo for a user by posting to PROFILE_ID/photos, with a source parameter of type multipart/form-data.
So first thing I’d try is getting the picture info from the canvas object into a „normal” form (writing it into a input element in the right format(?)), and sending that to Facebook. If this step succeeds, I’d see if jQuery or some other lib’s form.serialize method can build requests of type multipart/form-data. If that’s also possible, then there should be no further problem in taking the data in that format and posting it using FB.api (although you might want to tell your users to be patient, because that might take a while).
Can’t tell for sure if this’ll work, but I’d give it a try.
Facebook partners with Heroku for free app hosting, you can use it as the temporary server.
