Full width Foundation 6 dropdown accordion menu - zurb-foundation

Does anyone know how to make the drop down be the full width of the navigation in this example? I'm at my wits end on this one.
Codepen here
<!-- This demo uses float grid but you can use flex grid too -->
<div class="row">
<div class="columns">
<h3>Responsive Menu - Accordion Dropdown combo</h3>
<p>Same like drilldowns, an accordion menu works well on mobile, but on larger screens, you may want to convert that same menu into a dropdown. Here's an example for the same:</p>
</div>
</div>
<div class="row">
<div class="columns">
<ul class="vertical medium-horizontal menu" data-responsive-menu="accordion medium-dropdown">
<li>
Item 1
<ul class="vertical menu">
<li>
Item 1A
<ul class="vertical menu">
<li>Item 1A</li>
<li>Item 1B</li>
<li>Item 1C</li>
<li>Item 1D</li>
<li>Item 1E</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Item 1B</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
Item 2
<ul class="vertical menu">
<li>Item 2A</li>
<li>Item 2B</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
Item 3
<ul class="vertical menu">
<li>Item 3A</li>
<li>Item 3B</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
I'm that there are some other approaches. However, I need this to also become an accordion on mobile, be responsive with a hamburger toggle, and use click rather than hover to trigger on desktop. So this solution is super close, and trying to make the dropdown be full width seemed (at least at face value) to be the simplest solution.

Foundation6 responsive navigation

Would really welcome some help with my navbar. I'm trying to achieve what I consider the most obvious setup. Dropdown menus on larger screens and drilldowns on smaller ones. I have a pen here but there are bullet marks that should not be there, and the menu opens horizontally (I want it vertically) on larger screens.
<div class="title-bar" data-responsive-toggle="nav-menu" data-hidefor="medium">
<button class="menu-icon" type="button" data-toggle></button>
<div class="title-bar-title player-controls">Brand
</div>
</div>
<div class="top-bar" id="nav-menu">
<div class="row">
<div class="top-bar-left show-for-medium">
Brand
</div>
<div class="top-bar-right">
<ul class="vertical medium-horizontal menu" data-responsive-menu="drilldown medium-dropdown">
<li class="has-submenu">
Item
<ul class="vertical submenu" data-submenu>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class="">Item</li>
<li class="">Item</li>
<li class="">Item</li>
<li class="">Item</li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Not entirely sure about the vertical menu issue as the pen works fine for me. Regarding the errant bullet points, you are missing some essential classes. For the site title, you're using an li without the surrounding ul element. Add a ul with a class of menu around the title to fix that problem:
<ul class="menu">
<li class="menu-text">Site Title</li>
</ul>
The same menu class is missing for the sub menu:
<ul class="vertical submenu menu" data-submenu>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
<li role="menuitem">Sub-Item</li>
</ul>
Here's an updated Pen

Dropdown menu in top bar closes on mousedown before firing link

I have a top bar that contains a dropdown menu with links for the current user's account (e.g. Dashboard, Sign out, etc). Each menu item wraps a link that points to a relative URL.
Opening the menu works fine, but as soon as I click on an item, the menu closes and nothing happens.
I've looked for click and mousedown event handlers, but can't find anything that looks like it would be causing this.
Anyone have ideas about this?
Here's the relevant HTML code:
<div class="contain-to-grid nav-wrapper">
<nav data-topbar="data-topbar" role="navigation" class="top-bar">
<ul class="title-area">
<li class="name">
<h1>Site name</h1>
</li>
</ul>
<section data-hook="user-info" class="top-bar-section">
<ul class="right">
<li class="has-dropdown">
username
<ul class="dropdown">
<li>Dashboard</li>
<li>Sign out</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</section>
<section class="top-bar-section">
<ul class="right">
<li>Link 1</li>
<li>Link 2</li>
<li>Link 3</li>
</ul>
</section>
</nav>
</div>
And its fiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/a3qrhg5a/
You just probably forgot to include jQuery and initialize Foundation JS
For example:
<script src="js/vendor/jquery.js"></script>
<script src="js/foundation/foundation.js"></script>
<script>
$(document).foundation();
</script>
And here is your fiddle. Fixed:

Search Box Hides Links

I'm wondering if this is a Foundation bug, or if I've missed something in my code. My nav bar is structured as follows:
<div class="sticky noprint">
<nav class="top-bar" data-topbar role="navigation">
<ul class="title-area">
<!-- This li needs to be here for for some strange reason to make the mobile menu work -->
<li class="name">
<!-- <h1>Home</h1> -->
</li>
<li class="toggle-topbar menu-icon">
<span>Menu</span>
</li>
</ul>
<section class="top-bar-section">
<!-- Left Nav Section -->
<ul class="left">
<!-- Class Dropdown -->
<!-- <li><img src="background180.png" alt="background120" width="225" height="60"></li> -->

</div>
</form>
</li>
</ul>

</section>
</nav>
</div>
So what I'm wondering is: Desktop works perfectly. When I shrink to mobile screen size, perform a search, the search bar now takes over the entire menu and won't show the hamburger menu as it's supposed to. Can anyone suggest a fix? Thanks so much in advance!

Zurb Foundation top bar with right section that wraps under first

Similar to this post
A Top Bar with 2 navigation rows - Zurb Foundation 5
and this example
http://jsfiddle.net/Ty3ZT/6/
I would like to have a search form on the right side with a longer search box (the default is so small). As the screen size is smaller I'd like the second section containing the search form to wrap under the first section so that the top bar becomes twice in height.
Here is how I'd like it to end up:
This is as close as I've gotten it. (unsure why the search input is not the same height as the button, they are on my local install)
http://jsfiddle.net/Ty3ZT/18/
<div class="fixed">
<nav class="top-bar hide-for-small expand" data-topbar>
<ul class="title-area">
<li class="name">
<h1>My Site</h1>
</li>
<li class="toggle-topbar menu-icon">Menu</li>
</ul>
<!--first row-->
<section class="top-bar-section">
<!-- Left Nav Section -->
<ul class="left">
<li class="has-dropdown"><a class="">Account</a>
<ul class="dropdown">
<li><a>Item 1</a></li>
<li><a>Item 2</a></li>
<li><a>Item 3</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</section>
<!--second row-->
<section class="top-bar-section">
<!-- Left Nav Section -->
<ul class="right">
<li class="has-form">
<div class="row collapse">
<div class="large-8 columns">
<input type="text" placeholder="Search here">
</div>
<div class="large-4 columns">
Search
</div>
</li>
</ul>
</section>
</nav>
</div>
How can I achieve this? Whenever I get the second section to wrap the search form is all messed up. button no longer inline.

Foundation 4 and Orbit customization

Is there any technique that allows you to change the structure of the list on window resize?
This is my default markup that shows 4 items on default resolution (980px):
<ul data-orbit data-options="bullets:false; container_class:'rafting-cont'">
<li>
<div>…</div>
<div>…</div>
<div>…</div>
<div>…</div>
</li>
</ul>
but I want to change it to have only two on resolutions smaller than 768px. Markup should dynamically be changed to:
<ul data-orbit data-options="bullets:false; container_class:'rafting-cont'">
<li>
<div>…</div>
<div>…</div>
</li>
<li>
<div>…</div>
<div>…</div>
</li>
</ul>
I have tried to do it via jquery unwrap and wrap functions, but it doesn’t work, since foundation and orbit have already been initialized.
Any ideas how I could do that?
are you using the classes .hide-for-small and .show-for-small?
<ul>
<li>
<div> item 1 </div>
<div> item 2 </div>
<div class="hide-for-small"> item 3 </div>
<div class="hide-for-small"> item 4 </div>
</li><!-- end slide-1-a-->
<li class="show-for-small">
<div> item 3 </div>
<div> item 4 </div>
</li><!-- end slide-1-b-->
</ul>
