Finding the game that your friend also play for network analysis - stata

Currently I am trying to manipulate my dataset so that I can use it to analyse the network effect/peer effect between steam(a gaming platform) users by using the logit model. In order to do that, I have to find out the games that one's friends(peer effect) or generally others(direct network effect) also own. Unfortunately I don't know how to do that since my stata knowledge/skill is still very limited. I appretiate for any help!

so the steamid is an individual user and steamid_b is one of their friends. We can see that 76561197960265733 not only has the friend 76561197964770089 but also has the friend 76561197960265730 since it also appears as steamid_b to 76561197960265730.
The appid should be unique to every title, which is the name of the game, however I have manually found one mismatch(I don't know which code to use to find the mismatch between the title and appid since there are some messy codes in the string variable).

Generate sum variable for subgroups

I have here a Steam Dataset which includes individual steam user and their playtimes(overall) and the games they played. I further divided the player in hardcore(=1) and casual player (=0). Overall I want to test how various factors have influence on the overall playtime of the players, but now I want to build 2 regressions, one for hardcore players and one for casual players(because I think that the effect of every factor can differ between those two). But in order to do that, I need the sum of the overall playtime from the 2 subgroups. I tried egen playtime_type = sum(playtime_sum), by (hightype), but the outcome just doesn't make sense. How can I aggregate the sum of playtime only for each subgroup?

What makes sense and what does not make sense is highly subjective and it is always better if you explain what the output was and what you had expected instead.
My guess is that you want to use total() instead of sum().

Power BI - Showing Top 5 records in Metrix Table but total should show for all records

I have table with thousands of record. i want to create a table visual that will show top 5 records for each category. i created a measure to achieve this and i am getting the result exactly the same i am looking for but facing one issue there.
See below image where i am showing top 5 records for each category, but after each category i have total.
I don't want that total for top 5 records i am showing in the table instead i want the total of all the records which is there under each category.
How can i achieve that?

SAS ARIMA modelling for 5 different variables

I am trying do a ARIMA model estimation for 5 different variables. The data consists of 16 months of Point of Sales. How do I approach this complicated ARIMA modelling?
Furthermore I would like to do:
A simple moving average of each product group
A Holt-Winters
exponential smoothing model

Hive - filter different names

I´ve got stucked by filtering some movie titels. My problem is that i have a lot of different movie titels for example:
Movies: Visitors:
Breaking Dawn Part 1+2 100
Breaking Dawn 1+2 40

Dark Knight trilogy 3D 40

So there are a lot of different movie titels, which aren´t named unique and also have some whitespaces at the end. I could fixed that problem a litte, but there are already a lot of titels, which have the same meaning but are different.
At the moment is that my Query:

I couldn't test this with a larger dataset but it works for the sample data you provided in the question. based on soundex function on movie name get the total of the views, rest of the sql is self explanatory.
