What I did: In my main app views file i.e, in the CVBuilderApp.views file
views.py: from CVBuilderApp.cvs.models import PersonalInfo

How do I import the model while the main application name and the project name are the same? Please help
from csv.models import PersonalInfo
Imports are relative.
You can calling python manage.py runserver so everything is relative to manage.py
Example
CVBuilderApp (root)
- helpers (dir)
- helperofhelper (dir)
- doesthing.py <- Import this
- cvsHelper.py <- from Here
- manage.py
if wanting to import doesthing inside of cvsHelper
you would not do from helperofhelper.doesthing import dothing
you would do from helpers.helperofhelper.doesthing import dothing

you should not write project name in imports, so your imports must be something like this:
from cvs.models import PersonalInfo
Model location is relative to the location of manage.py file.
so you need to enter:
from cvs.models import PersonalInfo

I should probably clarify that I'm running in a virtual environment.
I have created a new app "grn" in my django project and tried to import the models from another app named "packsapp" in the same project like this:

But I got the following error:
ValueError: attempted relative import beyond top-level package

The root directory of a Django project is not a Python package or module. So relative imports across Django apps will not work. Use an absolute import instead:
from packsapp.models import *
I would like to keep my views and forms separate, just like you can with models. Are you able to make a directory of views and forms, and if so, what goes in the init.py files for each.

I run python3 manage.py makemigrations in the terminal and get:
/myproject/name/views/name_view.py", line 4, in <module>
from name.forms import NameForm
ImportError: cannot import name 'NameForm'
Thinking you can't make a ModelForm without a model, I run python3 manage.py migrate and get the same error.
I created a project to isolate this issue. Without the folders it worked, unless I messed up my original code trying to get this to work.
Just make a folder for your views and a folder for your forms wherever you want them to be and put an empty __init__.py file into each folder. The purpose of the __init__.py file is to tell python to treat the folder as a module. Then make your views.py file and your forms.py file in their respective directories and now you can do...
from myproject.path.to.views import MyView
from myproject.path.to.forms import MyForm
...as if it were any other module. Which it is.
I want to make an API with Flask and it also needs to have an admin panel.
I guess that Blueprints are the way to go, but I don't want to make models twice.
My structure is going to be this:
- app
- api
- admin
- models
So my question is: How can I access the models in the models folder in my api blueprint and my admin blueprint?

if you'd in a module within the api or admin folders you can import anything from a module in the models folder using this notation
from ..models.module_name import model1, model2, etc
for small projects i usually keep all the models in a single models.py file like:

[blueprint_1]

then from within any of your blueprint files just:
from ..models import model1, model2, etc
About the import, If your directory include __init__.py then it is a python package so . use for current dir. For example:
auth/
__init__.py
forms.py
views.py
#views.py
from forms import Form name
from . import auth_blueprint # imports from __init__.py
So if you wants to import from another directory you have to use .. to imports from __init__.py file let's say your models directory include those files :
models/
__init__.py
UserModel.py
Now let's import models for auth module :

from .. import models # import froms models/__init__.py
from ..models import UserModel
I'm trying to follow the method here to 'Scrapy' data from the web and simultaneously save that data directly to my Django database using Scrapy's item pipeline.
However, when I try to run scrapy crawl spidername, I'm getting the error:
ImportError: No module named django.core.management
At first I thought it was because my Scrapy project was outside of my Django project folder, but even after I moved the whole project into my Django project folder I kept getting the same error. If I open a python shell inside the Scrapy project folder in its new location (inside my Django project folder), import django.core.management works fine. So what's going on?
EDIT: Some additional info: I'm doing this on a Webfaction server, and the path to my Django project is /home/gchorn/webapps/django_app/django_project. I'm using Django version 1.4.1, Scrapy 0.16 and Python2.7. The layout of the Django+Scrapy project is as follows:

Try setting this in your Spider's settings.py:
