I'm using postman for linux (v9.18.2) on Pop!_OS (20.04) and sync my collections between devices via the built-in sync function. The green cloud icon indicates "In sync".
However, I couldn't find how to sync the body, tests, headers etc. too.
Does anyone know if this can be done somehow?

I have a application built with aurelia and bundled with webpacks. I have a variables in a typescript file. When i do a producation build, I just want to change those variables when I deploy at various servers.
Example apiRoot= http://10.10.0.1/RESTSERVICES/---> when deployed at one server
when deployed at another server I what apiRoot do be different.
But I don't want to build the code multiple times to deploy at various locations.

In that question, I gave suggestion on how to do it in different ways, which is copy-pasted below:
Aurelia provides many ways to handle asynchronous flow. If your custom element is a routed component, then you can leverage activate lifecycle to return a promise and initialize the http service asynchronously.
Otherwise, you can use CompositionTransaction to halt the process further, before you are done with initialization. You can see a preliminary example at https://tungphamblog.wordpress.com/2016/08/15/aurelia-customelement-async/
You can also leverage async nature of configure function in bootstrapping an Aurelia application to do initialization there:

I'm currently implementing a C++ backend server using azure-storage-cpp to download blob files locally. Azure Storage Cpp works on top of cpprestsdk (casablanca), which provides parallel tasking.
The simple example from the documentation allows me to start a blob download. Fine. Now I'd like to know how can I cancel the download/task on demand?
I'm using this method to download into a file.
This method returns a pplx::task<void>. So my guess was I could use this to properly stop the download.
But the documentation for pplx::task constructor says:
The version of the constructor that takes a cancellation token creates a task that can be canceled using the <c>cancellation_token_source</c> the token was obtained from. Tasks created without a cancellation token are not cancelable.
Window Azure Storage Cpp creates the task for us when calling download_to_file_async. So is there a way to cancel/stop a pplx:task created by azure storage cpp?
If not, I think I'm going to use the REST api with libcurl.
I am using Postman to run a Runner on some specific requests. Is it possible to create a schedule to execute (meaning every day on specific hour)?
You can set up a Postman Monitor on your collection, and schedule it to execute the request each minute/hour/weekly basis.
This article can get you started on creating your monitor. Postman allows 1000 monitoring requests for free per month.
PS: Postman gives you details about the responses as in No. of successful requests, response codes, response size etc. I wanted the actual response for my test. So I just printed the response body as shown below. Hope it helps someone out there :)
Well, if there is no other possibility, you can actually try doing this:
- launch postman runner
- configure the highest possible number of iterations
- configure the delay (in milliseconds) to fit your scheduling requirement
It is absolutely awful, but if the delay variable can be set high enough, it might work.
It implies that postman is continuousely running.
You may do this using a scheduling tool that can launch command lines and use Newman ...

What should i do in order to delete the cookies that the LoadRunner has accumulated while doing interaction with browser?
As suggested by tserg42, you could add a separate step inside your "Develop Script" of TruClient for adding the "Utils.clearCookies()" command inside a Javascript action.

Upon clicking the "JS" icon at the right corner, the arguments editor would be available for providing javascript commands. Key in the required commands - "Utils.clearCookies()".
Additionally, you can also check "Simulate new user on each iteration" checkbox from Runtime Settings --> Replay --> Simulate new user on each iteration

I have an application with very short-lived(5s) access tokens, paranoid client, and some of their users are accessing the S3 stored files using mobile connections so the lag can be quite high.
I've noticed that Amazon forcefully sends out the Accept-Ranges header on all requests, and I'd like to disable that for the files in question. So it would always download the entire file the first time around instead of downloading it chunks.
The main offender I've noticed for this is Chromes built-in PDF viewer. It'll start viewing the PDF, get a 200 response. Then it'll reconnect with a 206 header and start downloading the file in two chunks. If Chrome is too slow to start the download of all chunks before the access token expires it'll keep spamming requests towards S3 (600+ requests when I closed the window).
I've tried setting the header by changing it in the S3 console but while it says it saved it successfully it gets cleared instantly. I also tried to set the header with the signed request, as you can do for Content-Disposition for example, but S3 ignored the passed in header.
Or is there any other way to force a client to download the entire file at once?
Seems like it's not possible. Made the token expire later in hope it would take care of most cases.
