I have a postman collection with 3 requests in it. When I click on "Run Collection" normally all 3 requests are sent. Yesterday I figured out that only the first one is triggered, the others are ignored. I have cloned the collection, I have re-created the collection, I've updated postman... don't know what else to do..
I am on version 9.4.1 - maybe someone has an idea, thanks.
If someone wants to see my collection, here is the JSON-link: https://www.getpostman.com/collections/d8558e74dc154975151e
I've removed the API key for the requests.
Solution:
I had to remove the postman.setNextRequest in my first request - this somehow broke it.

I am looking for some way how to save exact cookie in Cypress through whole test case.
Was using
Cypress.Cookies.defaults({ preserve: 'cookie_name' })
and
Cypress.Cookies.preserveOnce('cookie_name')
but this doesn't work anymore. And the new cy.session() is not working for me, because I use custom addresses per user and per new form.
Does anyone know of anything that works better than cy.session()?
The use pattern of cy.session() is a bit opaque, but since it replaces the older cookie config it probably can be made to work.
I have seen a note somewhere that session is likely to be revamped shortly.
Since Cypress.Cookies.preserveOnce('cookie_name') is deprecated but still available, maybe use that until session mark 2 comes along.
I'm making a website right now and need to use django-tracking2 for analytics. Everything works but I would like to allow users to opt out and I haven't seen any options for that. I was thinking modifying the middleware portion may work but honestly, I don't know how to go about that yet since I haven't written middleware before.
I tried writing a script to check a cookie called no_track and if it wasn't set, I would set it to false for default tracking and if they reject, it sets no_track to True but I had no idea where to implement it (other than the middle ware, when I tried that the server told me to contact the administrator). I was thinking maybe I could use signals to prevent the user being tracked but then that would slow down the webpage since it would have to deal with preventing a new Visitor instance on each page (because it would likely keep making new instances since it would seem like a new user). Could I subclass the Visitor class and modify __init__ to do a check for the cookie and either let it save or don't.
Thanks for any answers, if I find a solution I'll edit the post or post and accept the answer just in case someone else needs this.
I made a function in my tools file (holds all functions used throughout the project to make my life easier) to get and set a session key. Inside the VisitorTrackingMiddleware I used the function _should_track() and placed a check that looks for the session key (after _should_track() checks that sessions is installed and before all other checks), with the check_session() function in my tools file, if it doesn't exist, the function creates it with the default of True (Track the user until they accept or reject) and returns an HttpResponse (left over from trying the cookie method).
When I used the cookie method, the firefox console said the cookie will expire so I just switched to sessions another reason is that django-tracking2 runs on it.
It seems to work very well and it didn't have a very large impact on load times, every time a request is made, that function runs and my debug tells me if it's tracking me or not and all the buttons work through AJAX. I want to run some tests to see if this does indeed work and if so, maybe I'll submit a pull request to django-tracking2 just in case someone else wants to use it.
A Big advantage to this is that you can allow users to change their minds if they want or you can reprompt at user sign up depending on if they accepted or not. with the way check_session() is set up, I can use it in template tags and class methods as well.
This is Something I am trying my head around but I am not sure why I am not able to grasp this thing. I am reading articles and wiki of taffy but somehow I am getting it. Like this:
https://github.com/atuttle/Taffy/tree/master/examples/api_requireApiKey
I am going down by the following approach:
I have created a table called as: apikeys, The table has just 3 columns, authid, apikey, authtoken
now if i manually add some key and token, how should i pass it to my requests to call it from 3rd party application.
and eventually this is hardcoded, how can i change my token every few hours and if application detects that token has been changed or not matching, what should i call to re-authenticate it again with new token and keep it alive for next few hours
If rather than solving, someone can point me to right direction, that will be great.
I tried reaching the author of taffy, but he is quite busy to answer the questions i have, everyone is pointing me to docs and docs does not tell me anything about this section.
I am having no joy with the RavenDb profiler. There's output rendered in the browser, but the profiler always claims there are no requests and no sessions.
When the document store is created I make the following call:
RavenProfiler.InitializeFor(docStore);
And in my master layout I have this, just before the closing body tag:
#Raven.Client.MvcIntegration.RavenProfiler.CurrentRequestSessions()
As far as I can tell there's nothing more required in order for this to work (of course, I may be wrong) yet the output of the profiler is always as above.
I'm using version 3.0.0.0 of Raven.Client.MvcIntegration.
Any ideas?
I figured it out. It was an issue with how I resolved the DocumentStore via my Windsor Container. It turned out that I ended up with two instances of the DocumentStore, and the wrong one was registered with RavenProfiler. Once I ensured that only one DocumentStore was created, everything started working as expected.
If I got to calendar, click on To Do, then try to add an event, the form pops up, I fill it out, press save, but no Event gets added.
In the SQL error log's I see an error like this:
2011-09-29 14:57:07 EDT ERROR: null value in column "visibility" violates not-null constraint
2011-09-29 14:57:07 EDT STATEMENT: insert into
vtiger_activity(activityid,subject,date_start,time_start,time_end,due_date,status,eventstatus,priority,sendnotification,activitytype,visibility,duration_hours,duration_minutes,location,recurringtype,notime)
values('235','Testing','2011-09-29','19:50',NULL,'2011-09-29','Not Started',NULL,'High','0','Task',NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,NULL,'0')
So, for some reason, it is trying to add a To-Do while inserting null values. My biggest problem is that I cannot locate the origin of the query. So, basically, the most important thing I am asking is what file takes the data that was input into the todosave form and turns it into a query.
I don't know if many people on here use Vtiger, but I couldn't figure this out so I went ahead and posted anyway. The official documentation is not very helpful in my opinion.
Thanks for everything, have a good day.
This might be an isolated case, but was any of the modules modified recently? In this case, I would assume that it would be the Calendar module. I've tested this on the demo website and on my vTiger installation and it works fine..
Perhaps you can download a fresh copy of vTiger and replace the modules/Calendar all its content.
By the way, another place to ask if you have any questions, is the vTiger forums.

Usually you can ask it in the Help - 5.2.1 section. Hope this helps!
