ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'mysite' django application - django

Good morning,
I have read other similar posts but I still cannot solve my problem. Could anyone point out to me into the right direction?
From one moment to another I started getting the following error. I have not made any changes to the settings.py file. The last feature that I installed, was the Django avatar package which has been running without problems.
The error that I get is the following: " ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'mysite'"
Settings.py:

According to their documentation (https://pypi.org/project/django-cors-headers/), you should also add corsheaders to your installed_apps.
INSTALLED_APPS = [
'django.contrib.admin',
'django.contrib.auth',
'django.contrib.contenttypes',
'django.contrib.sessions',
'django.contrib.messages',
'django.contrib.staticfiles',

'corsheaders',
'api'
]
And also add
# Corsheaders settings
CORS_ORIGIN_ALLOW_ALL = True
CORS_ALLOW_CREDENTIALS = False
CORS_ORIGIN_WHITELIST = (
'*'
)
This is how I solved it.
1 - open command prompt and type this:
ipconfig
Then copy paste your IPv4 Address eg ('182.167.2.65')
2 - Add the following line of code to your settings.py:
ALLOWED_HOSTS += '182.167.2.65'
CORS_ORIGIN_ALLOW_ALL = True # Change it in production and specify your own origins
3 - Run server as follows:
py manage.py runserver 0.0.0.0:8000
4 - In react now fetch to this direction:
'182.167.2.65' ## This direction is just an example (put your IPv4)

I think the problem is with SITE_ID but no idea how to solve it.
i just made this :
in settings.py:
i added
INSTALLED_APPS =[
'django.contrib.sites']
then :
SITE_ID=1
For others having this issue and above does work; try increasing the value of the SITE_ID by 1 till it works
--OR--
run
manage.py shell
>>> from django.contrib.sites.models import Site
>>> Site.objects.all()
set SITE_ID to the highest id value

Using two settings (prod and dev) with django site, dev doesn't allow admin

Currently I am using two separate settings. One of them is the prod settings file that I upload to heroku in every push(postgres). The other one I use for development(sqlite3). All works well in production (thank heavens) however, the admin site doesn't work in production.
I am using python manage.py --settings=djangoroot.devsettings to run the dev server. However, the admin site is giving me the following:
DoesNotExist at /admin/login/
Site matching query does not exist.
Here is my devsettings.py:
