I upload a file through AWS Console on S3, and I see there but it's not being updated unless I execute this command on CLI:
aws cloudfront create-invalidation --distribution-id E1XXXXXXX --paths "/*"
Where E1XXXXXXX is the ID from the CloudFront distribution.
I have a user that will not use the CLI, only has access to Console and only S3, so he just can do 2 things:
upload files to some bucket
delete files from that bucket
But how can I do in order to get refreshed/updated the file that he is uploading/replacing, without that command on CLI?
Or how can I change the TTL on CloudFront but for an specific Bucket? by default I see a policy with this:
Assuming you have a behavior set up that maps your distribution to the S3-origin, you should be able to set your default TTL there. It's the one that will be set for S3-Content.
If that doesn't work, you can attach a Lambda function to the S3 object create event and create an invalidation for changed objects.

I'm trying to use an S3 bucket to upload files to as part of a build, it is configured to provide files as a static site and the content is protected using a Lambda and CloudFront. When I manually create files in the bucket they are all visible and everything is happy, but when the files are uploaded what is created are not available, resulting in an access denied response.
The user that's pushing to the bucket does not belong in the same AWS environment, but it has been set up with an ACL that allows it to push to the bucket, and the bucket with a policy that allows it to be pushed to by that user.
The command that I'm using is:
aws s3 sync --no-progress --delete docs/_build/html "s3://my-bucket" --acl bucket-owner-full-control
Is there something else that I can try that basically uses the bucket permissions for anything that's created?
According to OP's feedback in the comment section, setting Object Ownership to Bucket owner preferred fixed the issue.
I have suspended object versioning on my S3 Bucket, but I don't want to have to select the check box that says "I acknowledge that existing objects with the same name will be overwritten" every time I upload photos to the s3 bucket.
I successfully set up an S3 Bucket Policy to make it so I don't have to specify that I want the uploads to be publicly viewable on every upload. Is there also an S3 Bucket Policy I can set to bypass the checkmark as well?

Sadly, this is new S3 console future. It is not related to the bucket policies.
You can use AWS CLI or SDK to upload objects "peacefully", without any distractions if you want to skip all the S3 console steps.
We have a Cloudfront distribution in front of some AWS buckets, set up by another member of my team.
I have some node.js code for lambda#edge to rewrite requests.
My question is how do I deploy it to Cloudfront for those buckets, using the aws command-line tool?
I think, it would require
request perms to assume a role;
deploy the function somewhere that it can be used (as opposed to just my account);
create the role/trust relationship;
create the behaviour in Cloudfront;
and associate the function with a Viewer Request event.
I have not found any coherent documentation or examples of how to do all of this, let alone using the aws tool.
As it is, I cannot see the Cloudfront or S3 buckets when I log in via the web site, though I can list the s3 bucket contents via command-line. (I am unsure how to access the Cloudfront via command line).
If you have your function deployed in Lambda then you should add it to the "LambdaFunctionAssociations" element of the CloudFront distribution config then update your config using the update-distribution CLI command like:
aws cloudfront update-distribution --id C123456789 --distribution-config file://local/path/to/distrib-config.json
Where id is the ID of your distribution
If you want to get the current CloudFront distribution config you can do aws cloudfront get-distribution-config --id C123456789

When you say "just to my account", do you mean a separate AWS account or do you mean using your IAM user in the same AWS account as the CloudFront distribution and S3 buckets? It sounds like your AWS Console user is different to the user that has the access keys set in aws cli. aws cloudfront list-distributions will let you see CloudFront via command line.

When I go to console in AWS by clicking the yellow cube in the top corner it directs me to the following url:

This is correct, cause my app is used primarily in Southeast Asia.
Now when I go to my S3 bucket, right click and select properties, I see:
Bucket: examplebucket
Region: US Standard
I believe that when I first created my AWS account I had set it to us-west-2 and then later changed it to ap-southeast-1. Is there something I need to do is change the region of the s3 bucket from 'US Standard'?

The bucket is being used for photo storage. The majority of my web users are in Southeast Asia.
It would certainly make sense to locate the bucket closest to the majority of your users. Also, consider using Amazon CloudFront to cache objects, providing even faster data access to your users.
Each Amazon S3 bucket resides in a single region. Any data placed into that bucket stays within that region. It is also possible to configure cross-region replication of buckets, which will copy objects from one bucket to a different bucket in a different region.
The Amazon S3 management console displays all buckets in all regions (hence the message that "S3 does not require region selection"). Clicking on a bucket will display the bucket properties, which will show the region in which the bucket resides.
It is not possible to 'change' the region of a bucket. Instead, you should create a new bucket in the desired region and copy the objects to the new bucket. The easiest way to copy the files is via the AWS Command-Line Interface (CLI), with a command like:
aws s3 cp s3://source-bucket s3://destination-bucket --recursive
If you have many files, it might be safer to use the sync option, which can be run multiple times (in case of errors/failures):
aws s3 sync s3://source-bucket s3://destination-bucket
Please note that if you wish to retain the name of the bucket, you would need to copy to a temporary bucket, delete the original bucket, wait for the bucket name to become available again (10 minutes?), create the bucket in the desired region, then copy the objects to the new bucket.
I'm trying to copy Amazon AWS S3 objects between two buckets in two different regions with Amazon AWS PHP SDK v3. This would be a one-time process, so I don't need cross-region replication. Tried to use copyObject() but there is no way to specify the region.

You don't need to specify regions for that operation. It'll find out the target bucket's region and copy it.
But you may be right, because on AWS CLI there is source region and target region attributes which do not exist on PHP SDK. So you can accomplish the task like this:
Create an interim bucket in the source region.
Create the bucket in the target region.
Configure replication from the interim bucket to target one.
On interim bucket set expiration rule, so files will be deleted after a short time automatically from the interim bucket.
Copy objects from source bucket to interim bucket using PHP SDK.
All your objects will also be copied to another region.
You can remove the interim bucket one day later.
Or use just cli and use this single command:
aws s3 cp s3://my-source-bucket-in-us-west-2/ s3://my-target-bucket-in-us-east-1/ --recursive --source-region us-west-2 --region us-east-1
Different region bucket could also be different account. What others had been doing was to copy off from one bucket and save the data temporary locally, then upload to different bucket with different credentials. (if you have two regional buckets with different credentials).
Newest update from CLI tool allows you to copy from bucket to bucket if it's under the same account. Using something like what Çağatay Gürtürk mentioned.
