How to connect Power Bi report builder v15.6 to power bi report server - powerbi

I have downloaded the latest Power Bi report builder v15.6
I want to save the report to the Power Bi Report Server which I have set up in the PC. Normally when we do a save as , it gives a option for the Report Server which I am unable to find in Current Power Bi Report Builder
Whereas if you see in the Microsoft Report Builder, there is a option for the same
Now when I try to do use the Microsoft Report Builder and save the report in Power bi report server, I am receiving some version error

Power BI Report Builder is not for Power BI Reporting Server. Power BI Report Builder is for Premium Capacities that support Paginated Reports, so you deploy to the service not a server.
Power BI Report Server, only supports reports built by Power BI Desktop for Report Server
You'll be able to use paginated reports with the new Power BI Premium per user license.
If you want paginated report, then installing SQL Server Reporting Services is your best option and using Report Builder, as this is the same technology as paginated reports, and what is Power BI Report Builder is based on.

Can Publish Power Bi Report Server to Power Bi Service?

I wonder can I publish visual that I create using Power Bi Report Server then publish it into
Power Bi Service?
Yes, You can publish into Power BI Service
FYI, Microsoft release new updates on Power BI Service every month, but for Report Server every 3-4 months

What is the use case of Power BI Report Builder, Report Builder, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Desktop (RS)?

There seem to be 3 tools to create and publish Power BI reports.
Power BI Report Builder
Report Builder
Power BI Desktop
Power BI Desktop (RS)
What is the use case of these 4 different tools? Is one the subset of the other? Does one support more features than the other?
Power BI Report Builder is a tool for authoring paginated reports that you can publish to the Power BI service.
Report builder is a standalone tool to design reports for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Power BI Desktop is used to build Power BI reports, which you can publish to Power BI Service.
Power BI Desktop for Power BI Report Server is used to build Power BI reports, which you can publish to Power BI Report Server.
No, they are not subsets. You can say that Power BI Report Server is a superset, or successor of SSRS, which along with SSRS (.rdl) reports can render Power BI reports (.pbix) too.
1.Power BI report builder is for paginated reports .
2.Report builder is the old SSRS. It is used to create static reports .
I find it outdated compared to Power BI desktop. Also it is hard to find videos /tutorials if you are new. Moreover if you are going to use large datasets, you will realise that it is slow.
3.Power BI desktop is used to build real time reports which you can publish/share to Power BI service.
4.Power BI for Power BI report Server is used to build your reports and publish them to Power BI report Server.

Power BI report exported in PDF file is not showing complete data

After exporting report in PDF format from Power BI desktop, it is showing only visible area data but not the complete table data which was available and visible after scroll down in Power BI Desktop report page.
I have generated the report in PDF format with complete data using below steps:
Prepared the Datasource using Power BI Desktop application and pushed it to Power BI Services in my workspace there.
Accessed the datasource from Power BI Services using Power BI report biulder and converted it to Dataset in Power BI report builder.
Got the DAX query from Power BI desktop application for same datasource to get the report from Power BI paginated report builder.

How to connect on premise (Power BI Report Server) from Excel using the Power BI publisher for Excel add-in?

I have Power BI report server setup in my on-premise environment. Here I am trying to connect to the PowerBI report server (on-premise) via the Excel sheet add-in (Power BI publisher for Excel).
I followed the below mentioned article :
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/publisher-for-excel
But in this case I am not able to connect to the on premise PowerBI report server. It is always connecting me with the cloud version of PowerBI.
Can any one help me to know how to fix this issue?
Currently PowerBI addon - publisher-for-excel only Support for PowerBI services not for desktop/On-premises/Report servers.
As it mentioned in the description that When you pin an element from Excel, a new tile is added to a new or existing dashboard in Power BI,
In our case the dashboard feature it-self would not be available in Power BI report server. Eventually, publisher for excel would not be in the consideration with Power BI Report server. For full features list..

How to publish a (.pbix) report from Power BI Desktop directly to a Power BI Report Server (on-premises)

I've created a report in the "Power BI Desktop optimized for Power BI Report Server (October 2017)" app and want to deploy it directly to local Power BI Report Server instance but can't find a way to do that.
I found a page on Microsoft Docs called "Quickstart: Create a Power BI report for Power BI Report Server" and there is a Step 2.4 called "Power BI Report Server Selection" (below) that is a part of the Get Data wizard which I do not have in my case.
In my case I have Get Data -> Analysis Services -> "SQL Server Analysis Server database" window -> "Navigator" window -> Ok and that's all
Finally I had to just save .pbix file locally and upload it manually to Power BI Report Server.
To save powerbi file directly to report server follow this steps:
Power BI desktop report> file> save as> Power BI report server> provide your report server portal url> Provide your file name> click ok to sve it directly on report server
