I'm not sure how to get around it, as none of my actual code for this uses ruby at all.
I have tried to SSH into the packer build box and run gem install aws-sdk to get the latest version, however it eventually ends up hanging and never completes.
I'm really unsure of what to do at this point. Any advice?
Update: Was finally able to get a gem install aws-sdk -V to finish after changing the version to ruby2.4, however the problem above still persists.

npm install -g npm-check-updates

Hello Everyone i am running AWS Green Grass on my Raspberry pi 3 Which has Raspbian Installed.
Green grass is installed in the root directory. I have configured AWS Green grass and installed all files and Certificates. i am also able to run AWS Green Grass on Raspberry Pi.
The Problem Comes when i go to AWS Groups and click the deploy button its giving me an error Bad Request Error. error code says IncompatibleGGCVersionException and message says Green grass core version 1.9.4 is below minimum required version 1.10.0
However, there is no 1.10.0 version the latest version is 1.9.4 can someone please help
Greengrass core 1.10.0 was released on Nov 25 and GGC can be downloaded from here. Also if a group is created using Easy Group Create, it will add the new stream manager feature by default and this feature requires Java 8 on the Greengrass core device. If you don't want to use the feature, you can go to edit the Group to disable the feature.

Thanks for the report, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.
As noted by others, for this install we changed how we install the toolkit and for some users this is causing install fails that we have not managed yet to reproduce in-house and are still trying to find root cause for.
Feel free to post your install log here (if you have it), or on the AWS forum thread posted above where we are tracking the problem and gathering data from affected users.
What version(s) of Visual Studio do you have installed, and was this an upgrade install from a previous version?
We released version 1.11.1.4 of the AWS Toolkit for Visual Studio to resolve the installation problems. You can download the latest version from https://aws.amazon.com/visualstudio/
