The instalation of Google Cloud SDK went right.
The problem is when I try to execute a gcloud command (even if gcloud -h) I have this output:
\Google\Cloud was unexpected.
I'm on Windows 10. Python 2.7.17 is correctly setup.
There is already a bug for issues when updating to Cloud SDK version 274.0.0 in Windows. Please check it. As a workaround installing Python in C:\Python27 and then Cloud SDK in C:\Cloud_SDK could help.
I suggest to migrate to Python 3 as Python 2 will not be maintained past 2020. Here is more info about it.
As John Hanley said, my version was broken on Windows. Google has fixed the problem with the version 2.74.0.1.
Thank you all !

I am currently working on windows machine. Installed WSL to be able to work in Linux env.
Installed the Google Cloud SDK and am able to run gsutil and gcloud commands.
However, while trying to run bq, I get the bq command not found error.
Can someone help me here?
"bq" is one of the default Cloud SDK components, and gets installed by default.
Please check with the command "gcloud components list" to confirm if "bq" is available.
If not, maybe somehow your installation got corrupted. Please try re-installing to fix this issue.
Otherwise, try running these commands, see how the path for all are set and same like "/usr/bin" in the given example. This may reveal some path setting related issues which need to be fixed.
I've run into a similar issue when working on a Windows environment. I have found that calling bq.cmd helps to get the BigQuery commands to execute.
So running:
bq.cmd ls
instead of running:
bq ls
To list datasets in your current project.
In WSL2, install the Google Cloud CLI with this command as shown in the documentation.
curl https://sdk.cloud.google.com | bash
Then restart your WSL installation. The bq command works at both a Windows command prompt and a WSL terminal.
Has anyone successfully installed and used C++ on Jupyter Notebook on a windows machine? The installation instruction here never worked for me.
conda install -c conda-forge xeus-cling
gives me
"PackagesNotFoundError: The following packages are not available from current channels:"
If anyone has succeeded in installing on Windows, could you please share your instructions? Thanks.
The "issue" is that conda-forge/xeus-cling isn't available for Windows (yet?) (as indicated on this page of conda-forge/xeus-cling on anaconda.org). You can instead use gouarin/xeus-cling (you still have to have the compatible environment, though). Of course, the online C++ Jupyter Notebook is available too.
I installed h2o using the AMI on the marketplace. It installed 3.14, and I am trying to update the version to the latest stable one of h2o.ai so my co-workers can use flow. How can I best do this?
I have tried uninstalling using
pip install http://h2o-release.s3.amazonaws.com/h2o/rel-wolpert/4/Python/h2o-3.18.0.4-py2.py3-none-any.whl
And directly by SSH-ing into my instance via terminal. However, even if it says "successfully uninstalled", it seems to keep reverting to the version 3.14.
I suspect there is a script at startup that is reinstalling and loading 3.14, but I can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated.

I'm a Windows user. I tried to install django-1.0.2 final through the command prompt and it kept giving me an error in line 70:
The error occured where u"SVN"... It couldn't get past that line.
What to do in order to be able to install django-1.0.2?
You do not have SubVersion installed on your machine. You are trying to synchronize from the current production stream via SubVersion, which is a source control system, which you do not have installed.
Easiest solution - download the latest official version per the instructions at http://www.djangoproject.com/download/
Please install a client for the Subversion Version Control System. Since you are on Windows, you can also use TortoiseSVN which is an easy to use SVN client for Windows.
Alternately, you can download the tarball of Django 1.0.2 directly.
And please don't SHOUT on Internet forums. We hear you :)
If I recall correctly, installing TortoiseSVN won't help you there cause Django's code tries to use SVN's command line version.
Install a command-line SVN like:
Slik SVN
CollabNet SVN Command line
What version of python are you using? I had the same error when installing on top of python 3.2 instead of 2.7. Django only works with 2.7.
