I'm trying to insert a actionSheet into action button into .tabItem. I only see a View with the text "Test 1". Can't make it display a menu with different options?. Thanks in advance.

As Apple says:
Tab views only support tab items of type Text, Image, or an image followed by text. Passing any other type of view results in a visible but empty tab item.
You can use solution, which I described here. Shortly: you make empty tabItem (Text(" ")), set Image at needed position and use .onTapGesture. There I also made example with ActionSheet

Combining Navigation Bar, TabView and searchable causes the NavigationBar and Search InputField to stay stationary when scrolling up on the second selected tab.
If I run the code below and first click on the Bookmark tab and scroll the list up, I get the desired results as shown in Figure 1.
If I immediately click the Home tab after the Bookmark tab and scroll the list up, I get an undesirable effect of the list displaying underneath the navigation header as shown in Figure 2.
The order that you click on the tabs produces different effects, and the position you last left the list before going to the next tab also has some strange influence on the behavior.
I need to use the TabView because it "remembers" the position of the list when you move from tab to tab. Creating my own tab control causes the list to reset everytime its displayed and I understand why. We also need to wrap the TabView under the NavigationView because our application subviews need to display their own tabs.
My questions, what am I doing wrong that is causing these inconsistencies in the navigation header. I have tried putting each list in it's own Stack but no joy, same issue keeps happening.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, we are currently blocked on our navigation design because of this anomaly. Hoping it's out fault so we can correct it.

I am having trouble with a return from a navigation view within a tabbed view. My project has a Settings tab where the user may select via navigation link "View Entries". And from there another navigation link to "Add New Entry". Returning from Add New Entry should bring you to View Entries but instead is return another level to the Setting Menu.
I am seeing a warning on the console stating "trying to pop to a missing destination at /Library/Caches/com.apple...". Using the tabbed view sample code at SwiftUI NavigationView trying to pop to missing destination (Monoceros?) I no longer get the "pop-to-missing-destination" warning but I still have the same problem with the navigation return.
The sample code below is ready to run and test in Xcode 12.
In the sample code below, tap settings and select the navigation view "View Entries". This would be a screen where entries are displayed in a list. Tapping the plus button is where new entries could be added. The textfield on the "Add New Entry" screen doesn't do anything. Clicking the Save or Back buttons should return you to "View Entries" screen but instead returns you to the Setting Menu. The Save button uses presentationMode.wrappedValue.dismiss to dismiss the view.
The fact that two different version of the tab view logic didn't have any impact on my navigation view return logic leads me to believe that I just have some kind on plain old bug in my navigation view logic but I sure don't see one. The sample code below is using the standard tab view logic.

After considerable analysis I discovered in my actual code that I had two copies of NavigationView––nothing wrong with the TabView code. Removing the one NavigationView not in contentView then caused several functions from working so rebuilt them from scratch. Now have everything working with TabView and NaigationView including the back buttons.
I am new in swift ui. I want to put image button on the side of the NavigationBar title.
I want to be able to click the user image and navigate to another view. How?
You need to use navigationBarItems for putting image to navigation bar and you should add NavigationLink to that image. For center the title you need to set navigation bar title's displayMode to .inline or you can use new Toolbar api

I am adding TapGesture on image icon, and keeping it out of navigation link, as the image is not getting circular inside the NavigationLink in ToolbarItemGroup.
By leveraging isActive property of NavigationLink which monitors onTap state we can determine either we want to push our view or not.

Now I got a super weired behavior. If I click on "Link to my first Navigation Level" and then on "(Working) Link to my second Naviation Level" the journey works. If I click on "Back" while being in the second Navigation Level it goes back to the first Navigation Level.
Issue:
When I click on the gear symbol in the Navbar on the first Navigation Level it kind of escapes from the nested Navigation and sets it to the top level. This has the consequence that when I click on "Back" it brings me from the Second Navigation Level back to the very root screen but my expected behavior is that it should go back to the first Navigation Level.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm using Xcode 12.2 beta 3 and iOS 14.2 (not sure if it's a beta bug).

In order to dismiss the keyboard when the Picker value is updated, a Binding was added, which can be seen in the following code block:

Up to this point, everything works as expected. However, I would like to dismiss the keyboard when tapping anywhere outside of the TextField since I am unable to figure out how to dismiss the keyboard when dragging the Form's containing scroll view.
I attempted to add the following implementation to dismiss the keyboard when tapping on the Form:

Below, the following two screenshot displays that the TextField is able to become the first responder and display the keyboard. The keyboard is then successfully dismissed when tapping outside of the TextField:
However, the keyboard will not dismiss when attempting to select a different segment of the `Picker. In fact, I cannot select a different segment, even after the keyboard has been dismissed. I presume that a different segment cannot be selected because the tap gesture attached to the form is preventing the selection.
The following screenshot shows the result of attempting to select the second value in the Picker while the keyboard is shown and the tap gesture is implemented:

Form's tap gesture (to finish editing by tap anywhere) is enabled only if text field isEdited == true
Once isEdited == false, your picker works as before.
You could place all of your code in an VStack{ code }, add a Spacer() to it and add the onTap to this VStack. This will allow you to dismiss the keyboard by clicking anywhere on the screen.
