Google Place API usage limitations and billing(2019) - google-cloud-platform

After the deprecation of google place picker I have to custom made it.I have to use google places API.
Let's say I have estimated hit of 1000/day for APIs like
1. Place Search
2. Place Autocomplete
-provided by place picker package.
The billing documentation is so complex I am unable to understand.
What I understood is:
a. Addition of billing account by adding credit Card is mandatory now
b. for Place Picker 150,000 hits/24 hours is free (after I exhaust the limit, what will happen? Will my app show error or I will be charged?)
I am new to this field. Can anyone help me by proving the required info. Thank You.Is there any alternate option also please mention.

Here is the pricing tab for Maps, Places & Routes.
If you have more detailed questions regarding costs it will be better idea to contact Billing department.

Problem setting up Google Maps API Billing Acount

I hope you are all very well. I'm developing a web platform for an assignment and I need to use the Maps JavaScript API. As you know, you are required to provide a credit card number to set up your billing account, unfortunately I'm from Venezuela and credit cards are not something that you can see every day, first I tried using a false credit card number, it didn't work, then I managed to find someone who had a credit card, but it seems like the credit limits in my country are not even high enough for Google to test that the credit card actually works. I've tried sending requests to the API but all of them have been rejected and I haven't been able to find any ways around this problem. It's very embarrassing to ask for this, but if someone could provide me with an API key that works, I'd very more than grateful, I can pay for using the API Key, my only problem is that I don't count with a credit card (I could pay with cryptocurrencies if that were an option), and even if I had a credit card, my country is not included in the list of countries that can be chosen when creating a new billing account. Thanks in advance, it's a very important assignment and I really need some help.
I believe that you can use a PayPal account. For Google Cloud you can prepay an account, maybe you can do the same with Google Maps.
A shared API key will probably get blocked quickly by Google, so do not try to go that route.
Another idea is to join a local Google Developer Group, someone might be able to help you. Also, sometimes developer/educational credits are available. This is worth your time and can help you with contacts as you develop your skills.

Is there a Google Places API return field for restaurant dining options (ie. Dine-In, Takeout, Delivery)?

During the pandemic around March, Google started allowing business owners to tag their restaurants with the dining option they offer in light of the pandemic.
Here is an example of these tags
I was wondering if the Places API (or any other Google API) has the ability to return these dining types. I've checked the docs for the Places API and it seems to only be capable of returning the business' business_status which only includes OPERATIONAL, CLOSED_TEMPORARILY, CLOSED_PERMANENTLY and not the fields I am looking for.
Would the only other way to obtain these tags be by web scraping a search result?
I just spoke with Google support and they said no. There is also no plan in the future to add these data points to the JSON.
They gave me some workaround ideas but nothing realistic. Let me know if you find a workaround! I am trying to gather this data as well.

Google cloud platform, no quota "GPUs (all regions)"

I want to increase the "GPUs (all regions)", or GPUS_ALL_REGIONS, for a project on Google Cloud.
However, the option is not in the "Metric" list on the "Quotas" page of the project.
Does anyone of you know how this can happen? For other projects I have on the same Billing Account, the option is present in the list:
Present: https://i.stack.imgur.com/6iQaJ.png
Not present: https://i.stack.imgur.com/FAhJ9.png
Please keep in mind that the Compute Engine is enabled on both.
Thank you very much for your help!
Regarding your concern, quota is based on reputation. You may find some project which has this metric “GPUs (all regions)”and some other does not. The old project might have this metric but most of the time new projects does not have.
Besides this, you can submit a quota increase request for each region and dedicated team can assist you for your concern. Also, please make sure GPU type is available in the requested region. Please use this link to submit your request

Cannot Find Place ID

I see that others have asked this question, but I haven't seen any 'how-to' answers for businesses that can't find their Place ID.
When I type my business name and address into the place id finder it does not return any results.

Thank you for your help!
Try GMB Toolbox to decode your location to a Place ID http://gmb.reviewsmaker.com 😊
There are a couple of things you should be aware of:
Once you added your business in Google My Business you have to wait some time (probably up to 7 days) while the business will be available in the place autocomplete service.
If you created a Service Area Business, it probably won't appear in place autocomplete due to the following issue: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/35831063
As I can see, you have indeed created a Service Area Business, it has a polygon on maps.google.com. I would suggest reaching out directly to Google support in the public issue tracker and ask them to help get a place ID.
UPDATE
As of March 2018 you can now search all businesses place IDs using the Google My Business place ID finder:

google prediction api pricing

For google prediction api in the documentation pages it'showing different quota limits in different places for 10$ plan.
In the above link its saying that the prediction limits are 10000/day
https://cloud.google.com/prediction/
whereas in the next link it's saying the limit is 10,000/month
https://cloud.google.com/prediction/pricing?csw=1
If there is anybody who has used this and could tell me which is the correct one I would really appreciate it.
I'd say it's a typo on the first link. 10K free per day seems way too high -
considering you need to contact Google if you're going to do more than 40K per day (see "Usage Limits).
For now, until a Googler can confirm, I'd go with per month i.e. https://cloud.google.com/prediction/pricing?csw=1
