How to switch from controller to html code? - webstorm

I would like to know if there is a shortcut that allows me in WebStorm to switch from the controller page directly to the html page associated with it and vice versa.
WebStorm 2019.1

You can try using Related Symbol… popup for this. When you’re in one of the Angular component files, press Ctrl+Cmd+Up on MacOS or Ctrl+Alt+Home on Windows/Linux to see the list of related files. Then you can use the arrow keys to select the file you need and then press Enter to open it.

How to fix not working keybind in WebStorm IDE

I generally have a bunch of custom keybinds for WebStorm, but this one particularly does not work - Select opened file. I've bound it with different key combinations (see screenshots below), and also I've verified that it does not conflict with any MacOS keybinds (although even the ones that conflict actually do work).
Also when I hover the actual UI button, it shows different keybind for it (which also does not work).
So, essentially, I have to always click the UI button with the mouse. I'd like to be able to do so with the keybind. I'm not even sure how to troubleshoot this...
Does anyone else using WebStorm have this keybind working properly?
It's a known usability issue, IDEA-271054. The actual action you need assigning a shortcut to is Other | Select File in Project View:

Display template for content search webpart issue for datatable and Tabs

I have developed display template and using it in Content search web part.
For displaying result on page i am using JQuery datatable/JQuery Tabs in display template.
Everything works fine, but sometime while loading page i am getting error like ("Object doesn't support property or method 'dataTable' (OnPostRender: )" and for tabs error is "Object doesn't support property or method 'tabs' (OnPostRender: )").
And if i refresh page many times then error will go and result is display as code.
I have register JQuery, JS and CSS using $includeScript.
I have also tried with RegisterSod for JQuery and JS file but still issue is same.
Thanks in Advance.
Can be:
This error usually occurs when an html element id has the same id as some variable in the javascript function, try change the name.
If you put the code I'll be able to help you better.
test = button.attr('test'); // Object doesnt support this method
$test= button.attr('test'); // works fine
Or debbug your code with and discover your problem. Enable script debugging IE:
In Internet Explorer, choose Internet Options from the Tools menu.
In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
On the Advanced tab, under Browsing, clear Disable Script Debugging.
Click OK.
If you have IE 8+ click here

Which .XML file are using for Insert Link button of General Link field in Sitecore 7.2

Can anybody tell me which .xml file are using for Insert Link button of General Link field in Sitecore 7.2.
I have tried to update below files but all are not affecting -
Sitecore.Shell.Application.Dialogs.InternalLink-InternalLink.xml
Sitecore.Shell.Application.Dialogs.InsertLink-InsertLink.xml
Sitecore.Shell.Application.Buckets - BucketInternalLink.xml
Sitecore.Shell.Application.Buckets - InsertLink.xml
I think under Buckets folder files are using in case of General Link field with Search
I have tried for all
If I am updating other files like
Sitecore.Shell.Application.Dialogs.ExternalLink - ExternalLink.xml
then it's showing updates in Sitecore but in case of insert link no one files are working.
Thanks in advance
check out my blogpost about fixing the internal link. It might prove difficult to extend but it is possible. At least I have been able to override the class and pass the preLoadPath.
http://reinoudvandalen.nl/blog/fixing-sitecore-7-internal-link-with-speak/
In Sitecore 7.2 the XML Insert Link Dialog is replaced by the new SPEAK UI Dialog. The actual url of the insert link dialog is located on
http://[yourdomain]/sitecore/client/applications/dialogs/InsertLinkViaTreeDialog
The actual file is located in the core database under: /sitecore/client/Applications/Dialogs/InsertLinkViaTreeDialog.
From there you can navigate to the appropriate renderings and modify them (which might affect other windows.
If you want to enable the old style InsertLink that uses the InsertLink.xml you can disable it from /App_Config/Include/Sitecore.Speak.config and remove the following line:
<override dialogUrl="/sitecore/shell/Applications/Dialogs/Internal%20link.aspx" with="/sitecore/client/applications/dialogs/InsertLinkViaTreeDialog" />

how can I use IntelliJ live edit with django templates?

I like the IntelliJ 'live edit' feature but it doesn't work for Django templates because obviously they are just a bunch of variables and its not finding the CSS files. Is there some way of working 'live' on Django templates? (or any other templating system for that matter).
Similarly I tried to use Chrome devtools autosave but it also didn't work, presumably it wants me to open an html file locally (i.e. file://).
And using chrome inspector to edit stuff is a pain because you have to copy and paste your changes - unless I'm missing something?
I am using IntelliJ 12.0.4 Ultimate with the Python plugin (this is more or less equivalent to PyCharm) to work on Django templates. It doesn't look like the Live Edit functionality works as per usual, indeed because the template has to be rendered to HTML first by Django.
One alternative is to assign a keyboard shortcut to the "View | Reload in Browser" menu item.
Another alternative is to use a Chrome plugin such as ChromeReload: You can set this to reload a specific page at a specific interval.

XFDF pdf opening in same window in IE

I'm working on a project that collects data from the project then displays it using xfdf to populate a .pdf file. Now when I use Chrome or Firefox it opens in a new tab which is exactly what I want, but some of my clients will be using IE, which opens it in the same window and causes some confusion. What area of the code should I be looking at in order to tackle and solve this problem?
I can show code examples, just let me know what I need to show.
Thanks,
Steve
Edit: When I click 'Print Application' button, it asks me to save or open the file. When they click open, it opens in the same tab, I want it to appear in a new tab.
In my experience, the best way to accomplish this is to alter your template linking to the PDF. For example:
Clicky!
This should work in all browsers.
