I've a Django APP hosted on Heroku.
I upload some images within the admin panel, so the show in my site. First minutes/hours after upload they show fine.
However, after a few hours they don't show anymore. I've to upload them again within the admin panel for them to show correctly.
When in the HTML when no image appear:

You are storing your uploaded images on the local filesystem. You cannot do that in Heroku.
Heroku instances are ephemeral, and do not share filesystems between them. Whenever you deploy, or launch a new instance by scaling up, it will not have any of your uploaded files.
You must store them somewhere more permanent. S3 is a good choice; there are plenty of third-party Django file storage libraries available that will do this for you.
This is because heroku nodes are not persistent. Meaning everytime your free node shuts down, it actually gets deleted and a new instance gets started when you access your application again.
The solution is actually to use some other hoster to store your media files. Amazon S3 or a simple FTP Server for example.
Check these links for further information:

I'm hosting my Django application on a VPS and I'm using Django Rest Framework and the Django Admin Site.
Everything seemed working running fine (check the below image),
but when I try to click on my API's I'm redirected to a Server Error (500) page.
One thing to notice is that when I'm running the app locally on my machine everything is working fine.
Below is my settings.py if it can help in anyway:

In directory statifiles i have directorys: css, js, admin, app_chat
in thare i have my styles js codes and images. So what I do wrong?
In order for Django to process your static files, you should run python manage.py collectstatic. Heroku should already do this for you though. Heroku doesn't automatically serve your static files, which is why I recommend you use the whitenoise package. It allows your Django app to auto-serve static files with no additional config.
See the docs for Django here: http://whitenoise.evans.io/en/stable/django.html
Also add whitenoise to your requirements.txt
So i was trying to deploy my project to Heroku and i followed this steps : https://www.codementor.io/#jamesezechukwu/how-to-deploy-django-app-on-heroku-dtsee04d4
. The build was successfull and i was able to run the server : https://pcbuildingparts.herokuapp.com/
but the database doesn't seem to connect beacause the items from database doesn't show at all and i tried to login in my admin site with my superuser account before deploying, but it doesn't let me in.

Is there a specific reason as to why you want to use SQLite on Heroku? A great option would be to use the postgress addon and use SQLite for local development and testing.
See how to connect to postgres in Django: postgres
You can also use the django-heroku package to easily configure your django app.
I have a Django application which needs to be deployed. Currently, I am not using Heroku or a Linux server to deploy it. However, I am trying to follow along with the Django checklist and ensure whether if it's ready to be deployed.

After this, I typed the following command below:
python manage.py collectstatic
Now, when I run the server, my web app broke and none of the static files i.e CSS, media and JS are used. It's just plain HTML stuff.
The weird part is that, when I changed the DEBUG mode to True, the site works normally.
Can anyone explain the reason for this? How can I deploy a site when the DEBUG mode is set to True?
Because you have this settings in your main urls
if settings.DEBUG:
urlpatterns += static(settings.STATIC_URL, document_root=settings.STATIC_ROOT)
urlpatterns += static(settings.MEDIA_URL, document_root=settings.MEDIA_ROOT)
If you want to deploy the application in cloud server, there you have to create one static folder outside your main folder and place your static files there, so the collectstatic command will store your static files there.
I followed the below tutorial to create a Django blog application, but static files are not working even in admin page in production. In my local server everything is fine.
https://tutorial.djangogirls.org/en/
I haven't added any static files to the application. my settings.py is below

I tried almost all solutions. If anyone can explain what is happening with admin static files please.
If you are in development mode you need to add your static file root in your urlpatters. Reading link
So in your main app's url file make sure you have added both.
urlpatterns += static(settings.MEDIA_URL, document_root=settings.MEDIA_ROOT)
urlpatterns += static(settings.STATIC_URL, document_root=settings.STATIC_ROOT)
