But when I do step 2 of the "Flattening and transforming JSON documents" section I do not see the field names for the dataset. I only see:

"Select List" (name: P2_SHOPS_LIST) that is created with the following SQL
SQL Statement: SELECT SHOP_NAME, GROUP_ID FROM T_ENTRY_SHOPS WHERE ID=:P2_LOV_ID;
It is necessary "GROUP_ID" because it is PK . But I need edit "SHOP_NAME" value and display to Text Field.
I think I can get the currently displayed SHOP_NAME by combining the above SQL with the selection row number, but is there any way to access this value with No SQL? Like
:P2_SHOPS_LIST.SHOP_NAME
(This gave me an error XD).
In the context of JavaScript, you can use the following
$('#P2_SHOPS_LIST option:selected').text()
This can be passed through to PL/SQL via a dynamic action, such as on change of your select list.
Or you could set your text item on change via a JS based action, using 'Set Value' and that code as the expression.
I am looking for a DAX function, or any trick with pbi desktop, to do the operation below :
2 tables :
'data' table, with a data column in text format
eg: "Product XXX.YYY"
'ref' table, with 2 columnes, key and label. The keys are usually some substrings of the data fieds.
eg. "Product XXX"; "Label 1"
I need to add to the data table a measure that contains the label matching the first key from the ref table that is a substring of the data
eg : "Product XXX" is a substring of "Product XXX.YYY" => should return "Label 1"
Of course, all values on the data column have a diferent format, so I can not manipulate the data to split "Product XXX" and "YYY" in a static way.

Alternative : rather than a dummy substring, if the key could be a full regex pattern to be matched, would be far more interesting ... :)
Without example data it's hard to test if this solution works, but since October 2018 there is a fuzzy matching preview feature.
Steps summary
Enable the fuzzy merge preview feature via File → Options → Preview Features
Go to Edit Queries and click on Merge Queries as New
Select the data table (containing the Product XXX.YYY values) as the source
Select the ref table as the match table
Pick a join type from the drop down
Tick the fuzzy matching checkbox
Try out some fuzzy matching options to see what is suitable
I have created a bar chart on APEX 5.0 where my query looks like below:
select col1 as label,col2 as value from table1 where :P3_NEW_1 = col3;
here: P3_NEW_1 the page item I have created of type "Select List".
The list of values in "Select List" page item are pre-populated in the dropdown using the "Shared component" type I have created and so far this worked fine and I am able to display the results of above query by passing the value through the page item select list.
Now I need to add 2 data pickers on the same Apex page such that I should now be able to filter the results using date picker through dynamic action.
I know that using an additional button I can create a dynamic action but my problem is how do I modify the above query such that following should happen.
During the page load, once I select a particular value from the "Select List", it should display records based on the value selected from dropdown
This I already achieved using above sql query for the bar chart.
Once the bar char is displayed, I should next be able to filter and display the results using date ranges through date pickers.
Here my problem is my bar chart query is same but I need to now pass the start_date and end_date to the same above sql query which but I am not sure how to achieve this. If I add a button for dynamic action I need to select the report region which is the "bar chart" region and here my query needs modification.
Once the bar chart display the results, at the next step how do I filter the results by having the date filters with dynamic action on the same region where bar chart was displayed. How to achieve this?
You can change the query to something like this:

OR TO_DATE(TIME_STAMP,'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24:MI:SS') BETWEEN :P3_START_DATE AND NVL(:P3_END_DATE,SYSDATE));
Where :P3_Start_date and :P3_End_date are the Start and End date pickers and TIME_STAMP is your column where you store the date.
After modifying the query you can simply add a button where at Behavior>Action select Submit Page.
This way when you click the button, the page will be submitted and chart refreshed.
If you want to take your chart to the next level you can do a partial refresh on it. Here is a short video tutorial of partial refresh on a report but you can apply the same login on your chart.
I am using FileMaker Pro 13. I need to add Portal to show data from related table.
Some fields which I wanna add to Portal are "Foreign keys" from that related table that are linked-related to third table.
Results I am getting in Portal from those fields are numbers, but I need data (text) from that third table that is related to that "Foreign key".
Is it possible to create portal that shows text related to that foreign key, and if it is, how to achieve that?

In general words, I want to add Portal on layout based on Table3, so I can view related data from Table2, and it would have fields tbl2item, TBL1_foreign key (from where I pull data from Table 1 when I enter data in Table 2, using pop up menu). And in Portal data I need TBL1_foreign key to be represented as text from related table instead of auto-numbers.
Assuming the relationship:
Table 1 --> Table 2 --> Table 3
You are in the layout based on Table 1. Make sure there is relationship to Table 3 and it is in the same group (TOG) in Manage Databases. Just place the field with text from the Table 3 on your portal row and it should work.
Make sure you select the correct relationship for Table 3. In drop-down list it should be in "Related" group. Should look like "Table 3::myFiled" on the layout, with the name the same as the name of your table instance (TO) from "Manage database" which could be different from your base table name
The other option would be to use value list.
I do not see your file, so if it does not work for you, post more details about your setup.
We are populating a subregion of a page with an Iframe (call to another page) with data for a questionnaire.
We have PAGE ITEM variables (:P37_... populated by query) that contain table values for P37_QUESTION_DESCRIPTION and P37_RESPONSE_TYPE.
The sub page used in the region (:P28_...) assigns report attributes for each column... where We populated the question text in the P28_QUESTION_DESC and a Y/N Select List defined list of values in the P28_RESPONSE_DESC_DISPLAY column. This works fine.
Now, the P37_RESPONSE_TYPE can more than just this Y/N Select List. It could be TEXTAREA, PICKLIST, DATE...
How can we define the :P28_RESPONSE_DESC_DISPLAY column dynamically to be any number of user input field types (based on the value in :P37_REPSONSE_TYPE?)
This was solved by using a non-tabular form report generated by query using apex.item functions. But is has left me with another problem. Here's the query:

My problem is now grouping the questions by question_set_code. Because GROUP BY is evaluated after the select, it cannot simply be tacked on to the end of the query. I'm not sure that using a nested select will work here because of the apex.item calls. Anyone have a suggestion on how I can group these questions by the column?
