PowerBi, how to view push data sets raw data - powerbi

I've created a powerbi push dataset using the api. I can build reports based on this but I'm struggling with something very simple.
How do I see my data?
On the web app I can choose analyze in excel but excel gives me an error
Within the powerbi desktop I cant find an option for this either. Does anyone know where to find this? Could it be a permissions issue? If so where do i find the option to turn this on.
Thanks.

When you create a report on a Push dataset, there are no Data and Relationships sections to the left in Power BI Desktop. But you can place a visual (e.g. table), right click it and select "Show Data":
This will show you the underlying data in tabular format in Power BI Desktop, but if you want, you can export it to file and open it in Excel. Just click the ellipsis in the top right corner and select "Export data":
You can also connect Excel directly to your Push dataset in Power BI Service. To do this you will need to install Power BI publisher for Excel and from "Power BI" tab select "Connect to Data":

How to import data from an excel file when report is using an existing power bi dataset?

I have a power bi report that connects to another power bi dataset.
I want to import an excel file into the new report's dataset without making any changes to the original dataset.
On this new report (that uses another dataset) the transform query button is grayed out so I'm not sure how to import an excel file. Does power bi support this?
Use the Get data button on the home tab. Should be a simple upload of the excel file. Make sure to use the desktop version. Using the model tab on the far left side you can link variables (many to many, many to one, etc.) (if the datasets are related)
What you`re looking for is a Composite Model. If you want to use it, you first have to enable the following Preview features in Options:
After a restart you can click on Transform data and Power BI will add a local model and allow you to add further data sources like Excel files to it.

Power BI - How to limit data imported using date

Newbie here. How do I limit the amount of data imported to Power BI? For example, I have a total row count of 1,156,135, but i only want to load the last 90 days is there an easy way of doing this?
With Power BI, you can edit the query to pre-filter the data.
On the ribbon, click Transform Data to open the Power Query Editor. The Power Query Editor will show you a sample of the data (not all of it). Then either you can set up your filters and Power BI will build the query for you, or you can use the Advanced Editor to write/edit your own query.
Click "Close & Apply" to close the Power Query Editor and load the data.

How can I add new fields from Power BI to existing PowerApps that's integrated using PowerBIIntegration?

My initial requirements was to create a PowerApp that's integrated with Power BI using one of the columns (say col1) from tables used in Power BI report. I implemented this and published the app.
Now, the requirements have changed and the request is for an additional column (say col2) in the same app. How can I add an additional new field that can somehow show under PowerBIIntegration.Data.col2?
I didn't find any documentation or reference for the same. In past, I have built PowerApps with multiple columns but not sure how to add new column to existing PowerApps when integrated with Power BI.
I had the same issue, what you need to do is edit the power app from the PowerBI file or published version too.
Steps:
Open the PowerBI file or the published file with clicking on edit
Select your existing PowerApp visual
Add the new columns by checking the new column check boxes per usual
Then hover over the PowerApp Visual and click on on the three dots that appear in the top right of the powerApp visual, and select Edit,
This will launch PowerApp studio page so you can edit the app
Using this method will also connect your app to the live data set from the PowerBIIntegration data set.
source text:
"If you change the data fields associated with the visual, you will need to edit the app from Power BI service to make sure that the changes are propagated to PowerApps. You will observe unexpected behavior if the app is not edited from Power BI service to make sure that the new fields from Power BI reflect in the app."

Power BI: Add a chart from a streaming dataset to Power BI desktop report

I have created a Power BI reporting file (.pbix) with some pages and charts. One of the page has a few charts that show LIVE data, but the charts are from regular SQL Server VIEW datasets.
I created a Push Streaming Dataset, and while I can create a visual from it in a new Power BI desktop file, I am unable to do so in my current file.
If I try to add a Power BI dataset from the 'Get Data' menu, it throws an error saying:
The Connect live option for this file is disabled because it already
contains data from another data source. You cannot explore live data
and connect to another type of data source in the same file. Create a
new file to explore live data.
My data is in an on-premise SQL Server and I am unable to add my datasets to the Power BI Service Web App. How can I merge my visual that uses the Push Data Streaming, along with my other existing visuals.
I have the same problem in my project. What we did is, we used a dashboard in Power BI service to visualize tile from separate reports. That might not be your case but it is one consideration.

Power BI Designer Preview - No Data Load Settings

When i load the Excel sheet as data source in Power BI designer i do not see any Data Load Settings ("load to worksheet" & "Load to Datamodel") in the right hand side menu called "Query Settings".
Failing which I can not define any datamodel for my imported data from excel.
What am i doing wrong?
In Power BI Designer, unlike in Excel, all the data you load using the Query UI is automatically added to the data model. To create relationships in the data model you can find the Relationships button on the ribbon when you are in the Reports UI.
Appreciate your using Power BI,
