Good Day all.
I have wriiten a cfclient app. The app was working perfectly until almost a year ago. then with Adobe phonegap removeing support for cli 3xxx
Then the app stoped working.
On the server the app works perfectly but when i try build and run the app on android i get gthe following error.
Error invoking CFC http://fqadmin.atstech.co.za/cfc/users.cfc: Not found [Enable debugging by adding 'cfdebug' to your url paramaters to see more information]
Now the CFC is there going to http://fqadmin.atstech.co.za/cfc/users.cfc?method=getUsersList
I get the users list in JSON format -> the above is for test purpose only.
So i know the server cfc is not only there, but it is working with no errors.
Please find attached zip file of source code / including the server CFC,
Also please see screen shots of the setting on my cfbuilder project.
Latest Build from phonegap - You can see error using apk below

I have been trying to implement the custom server for expo updates as explained in this repo for my App
https://github.com/expo/custom-expo-updates-server
The expo-updates-server code I haven't touched, just changed the path in sripts/publish.sh and scripts/exportClientExpoConfig.js to point to my App rather than expo-updates-client
The issue which I am facing is that when my app is loading I am not sure whether or not its calling the server running at http://localhost:3000/api/manifest because its not logging any request in logs
Is there a way to debug this thing to be completely sure about whether or not this is the issue.
In my client app I have done the following things before making the release version of my App using eas build
I have installed expo-updates in my client app
Added runtimeVersion=1 in my app.json
Also I have copied the updates block in my client app from expo-update-client app
I am attaching screenshots of my app.json file
Please note that my dist folder is successfully created and update is being copied in expo-updates-server/updates/1 folder
Has anyone implemented this before? Any Kind of help is appreciated
Thanks
I'm trying to use expo-dev-client to add react-native-sms-retriever library to my project because expo doesn't have a library that supports reading sms messages. In expo documentation, it's suggested that I should use expo-dev-client to add custom native code. You can see the documentation here: https://docs.expo.dev/workflow/customizing/#developing-apps-with-custom-native-code
I followed all of the steps in starting guide for expo-dev-client. https://docs.expo.dev/clients/getting-started/
But when I start my app using "expo start --dev-client" and run on android, a white screen is shown for a second and then I'm redirected to expo go application page.
in console, the following 2 lines are written:
› Opening on Android...
› Opening com.droppgroup.masterclean://expo-development-client/?url=http%3A%2F%2F127.0.0.1%3A8081 on LDN_L21
I tried this on real device and 2 other emulators but I got the same result. I reinstalled expo go application and it still doesn't work.
Any suggestions on what I can do to make this work?
The issue may be a problem with Expo config plugins, which configure native code for an Expo project, by configuring Info.plist for example. I am currently experiencing a similar issue, though after scanning the QR code, I am directed to a black screen in my Expo Dev Client which crashes and takes me back to the home page. The Dev Client worked perfected until I ran expo add react-native-bluetooth-classic, since I am trying to access iOS bluetooth APIs. I am currently working on this issue, but I just wanted to point you in the direction of config plugins since the examples Expo gives for customizing your runtime have config plugins registred in the "plugins" property of app.json.
It may be necessary to create your own plugin, though I am unsure.
Please let me know if you come up with any fixes, and so will I.
i am approaching the development of Restful web services for the first time. I tried to follow this guide for Netbeans . I am stuck at the testing of the web service.
When i open the
http://localhost:8080/WebServicesTest/test-resbeans.html
page, none of the root resources appears in the left menu. (there should be entities.customer and entities.discountcode)
I really can't find a solution.
Thanks in advance to anyone who likes to give me a hint.
--------------- Edit
If i click on CustomerDB --> Deploy i get an error
In-place deployment at C:\Users\utente\Documents\NetBeansProjects\CustomerDB\build\web
GlassFish Server 4, deploy, null, false
C:\Users\utente\Documents\NetBeansProjects\CustomerDB\nbproject\build-impl.xml:1071:
The module has not been deployed.
See the server log for details.
The line 1071 of build-impl.xml is
<nbdeploy clientUrlPart="${client.urlPart}" debugmode="false" forceRedeploy="${forceRedeploy}"/>
I checked out the referenced tutorial.
Which exact path did you follow? Did you change anything?
Most likely your CustomerDB application is not deployed correctly (see GlassFish Server output in NetBeans) and thus is not able to expose the web service and thus is not displayed in the test page (nothing visible in the side bar).
I tried the tutorial myself and had that phenomenon when using another database ("test" instead of the sample db, which was not connectable in my installed environment), resulting in a message that "test__pm" resource was not found. I then created a conection pool and a jdbc reosurce for test and then it worked.
I'm trying to create simple WebServices project using Intellij Idea 12 IDE (Glassfish 4.0.0 server, JDK 1.7.0_45)
And have a couple of troubles.
First of all, I cannot expose or unexpose my default class HelloWorld. I just do not have this button (Expose Class as Web Service) in menu 'Web Services' or even in the tab 'tools'.
Somewhere I've found that ALT+ENTER could help me, but it did not. There were no signs of that functionality too.
However, as you probably know, it is not extremely important in this test (HelloWorld) example to expose the class (it is exposed by default) and I still tried to launch my simple solution. But it does not work.
It shows just blank window in browser (path: localhost:8080/jax_ws_server or smth like this). When I intentionally tried to change this path to string (I've changed it not only in browser url-string, but also in Artifacts settings) 'localhost:8080/services/HelloWorld', which I have found in the configuration file 'sun-jaxws.xml', It just shows 404 error in a browser.
I use this tutorial:
http://wiki.jetbrains.net/intellij/Developing_a_simple_JaxWS_WebService
What can I do to solve this problems? Thank you for every answer!
OK, the documentation says:
If you configure the folder containing FW/1 as a new web root and
browse to it, you'll see an introductory application.
So I created a new site in Windows Vista and pointed it to the Framework 1 bundle.
I've installed CF10, and am able to navigate to http://localhost:8500/CFIDE/administrator/
so I know that's working.
But when I navigate to http://localhost/, it gives me:
Error Summary
HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error
The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.
Requested URL http://localhost:80/
Physical Path C:\inetpub\seancorfield-fw1-9e69741
And trying localhost:8500 goes to C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion\wwwroot
I wrote up a pretty detailed blog post here:
http://blog.bittersweetryan.com/2012/02/changing-webroot-of-coldfusion-zeus.html
It looks like you may not have updated your mapping to the WEB-INF and CFIDE folders.
If you installed it as the built in server then it will be 8500.
If you integrated into IIS then it will be port 80
You may just need to run the web connector tool, you will find it in the start menu.
If that doesnt work, you likely don't have the necessary bits of IIS installed.
