I want to export the Interactive Grid data into an excel. How can I do that. In the download option in Actions tab, it only has csv and HTML option.
Can we add an option there to download the report in excel. Or can we add a button separtely, on click of which the report can be downloaded in xls.
Thanks,
Abha
CSV is Excel. Not a true MS Excel file (i.e. XLS or XLSX), but - Excel opens a Comma-Separated-Values file without any problems.
So - export as CSV, open with Excel. Should be just fine.
Yes, interactive reports and grids support exporting to native Excel (xlsx), as well as Word (rtf) and PDF.
To enable this there are multiple options:
Oracle BI Publisher
FOP (ORDS)
APEX Office Print (AOP)
Once you have configured the print server (this is an APEX instance-wide setting), you can then enable the output options in your IR or IG regions.

(note: I'm not sure that all the other printing options mentioned in this link support interactive reports or grids)

I have a PowerBI Online dashboard with 24 tabs that all need to be exported to PDF as a single document. I would like to be able to download a full workbook of the 24 charts without having to export them manually one by one. Is this possible in PowerBI Online? Is there a way to build a process in PowerAutomate if not? Thanks for the help!
PowerBI Chart Sample
Right now when I click the "Export to DPF" button it is only allowing me to export the chart that is visible (see image - only allows the visible Chart 4 to be exported but not the others).I would like it to export all charts 1-4 in one PDF workbook.
are you using a power bi report server or uploading to a power bi portal because when you click on file-> export-> export pdf on a power bi desktop, your reports return to pdf without any problems. I even tried this for you.
I need to load data from excel to table . i.e. upload excel from apex application and then load the oracle database table. I have been advised to avoid plugin so am looking for oracle apex processed using which i can do this.
Any advice/steps/links to information would be very helpful.
Th file to be loaded is .xlsm with macros but the macros can be ignored.
Apex 20.2
There's nothing built-in for allowing your users to load an Excel file into your Apex app and store the data into a database table.
Personally, I've used Carsten Czarski's XLSX_PARSER package with good results. The source code is clean and I even enhanced it to parse for my custom needs.

I found these two good references via Google:
Jeff Kemp's great review of many possible solutions for various data formats, including Excel - https://jeffkemponoracle.com/2018/11/load-spreadsheet-data-into-apex/
Anton Scheffer's Excel2Collections package - https://github.com/antonscheffer/excel2collections
Yes, You can do it without even using the Data loading wizard provided by oracle apex, so here is the video, in which I have in detail explained how you can do it, with simple 2 steps.

I have Interactive report with 15 columns.
For downloading report i used Download function from Action menu.
When I tried to download report in csv format with 10 selected coulmn.. Csv does not contain all that selected 10 columns.
Only few columns are shown in csv file
Oracle APEX uses the same query defined for HTML output to generate the csv for download, it applies same rules that is applied on HTML(from apex builder) report.
If you are seeing any gaps, that must be due to settings.
Try to open the report in incognito mode and download it.
.Each interactive report data should come in each tab(i.e) sheet1, sheet2....
Example: In Apex page, I have 5 report region. Each report data should be downloaded in each sheet, In a single excel file. Please provide me a solution, Thanks in advance Karthick.
If you cannot upgrade your APEX environment then, as TineO said, probably AOP is the best option you have.
If you can upgrade to 19.2 or higher, then you can utilize APEX_REGION.OPEN_QUERY_CONTEXT API to get the records of the interactive reports. Then, you can use the Open Source library Alexandria and in particular, the xlsx_builder_pkg package to create the spreadsheets.
In Oracle Apex 5, a user can manipulate an Interactive Report's data with a number of actions (Sort, Filter, Group By, Control Break...). However, when the report is downloaded as a CSV only the Filter action is retained from the manipulations. How can you get the download of an Interactive Report to display the report as is?
The closest solution I could find is a plugin found on github, see Interactive Report to Excel v2
At the time, it worked for the particular report we had an issue with (Control Break on one column, with some Sorting), but when I tried it on a Group By it didn't work.
We have had good results with APEX_IR_XLSX and have added our own customization pieces to it quite easily.
