I have Django rest framework (DRF) setup with allauth to allow google authentication as external authentication I am not using any built in authentication like register user and so on.
In my DRF I do have protected resource which I intend to use to protect them using auth_token received for that respective user. I can see after hitting google Oauth URL I am able to login and I can see Django Admin backend that following tables like
“SocialAccounts” I can see user there and in “Social Application Token” table I can see user and respective authe_token with refresh token along with expiry timing.
My use cases are as following
In my Django views I want to use that auth_token for that user to
create session
Upon expiry of auth_token it should be auto
refresh so that client should not every time re authenticate them
self.
Is it possible to use Auth_token in as JWT token pass along
with header for protected resources in DRF so that it will not be
accessed unwanted users.
If someone can guide me to any documentation or use case scenario would be great help.

Now how would i use google given auth_token as authorization header in HTTP request(GET,POST,PUT) for protected api resource.
I am skeptical that session which django all auth create for google oauth2 can be used in mobile app for Java script front end.
Any one used this scenario kindly comment it.
for Django-allauth request to use google auth-token as Authorization header for user are still in progress no dates are given for the same.

I try to code a blog with Django and it worked pretty well until I couldn't open the admin page anymore: 127.0.0.1:8000/admin/.
I created a superuser I could login to the admin page but then I changed something else but I can't say what. The blog with the database and my personal was working except the admin page. Do you have any idea why that happened? Appreciate any help.

Looks like you've installed the Django sites framework with django.contrib.sites in your installed apps but you probably haven't set everything else up that is needed. If you put SITE_ID=1 in your settings.py, I expect your page will load - at the moment it isn't receiving anything at all - but you should read through the rest of the framework docs:

Run ./manage.py show_urls to know all the available URL paths
I am using VueJS for fronend and Django for backend. I changed the conf of Vuejs such that when we run npm run build the compiled files goes to static/dist directory of Django. I also added the urls in urls.py as shown
from django.contrib import admin
from django.urls import path
from django.conf.urls import url, include
from django.views.generic import TemplateView
from django.contrib.staticfiles.urls import staticfiles_urlpatterns

urlpatterns = urlpatterns + staticfiles_urlpatterns()
when I go to http://127.0.0.1:8000 index .js is returned which contains the VueJS index file. So the above url goes to http://127.0.0.1:8000/static/dist and the server runs normally. But when I reload the page I am getting the below error.

I think the problem is with SITE_ID but no idea how to solve it.
i just made this :
in settings.py:
i added
INSTALLED_APPS =[
'django.contrib.sites']
then :
SITE_ID=1
For others having this issue and above does work; try increasing the value of the SITE_ID by 1 till it works
--OR--
run
manage.py shell
>>> from django.contrib.sites.models import Site
>>> Site.objects.all()
set SITE_ID to the highest id value
I am new to django, but have set up a db and user authentication. I now have set up the password options through django auth and am using the built in templates. The problem is, I cannot receive the password reset emails from any users from my db, only the super user email. Is there a way i can redirect it to my database?

For people to receive any of Django's default User registration emails for resetting passwords, etc, you need something like the following in your urls.py of your root project folder. Although I am showing it for django 2.x, the principle is the same, so just use url() properly instead.
path('accounts/', include('accounts_app.urls')),
path('accounts/', include('django.contrib.auth.urls')), #allows change password and reset at /accounts/password_change/ and /accounts/password_reset/, and so on
You also need 'django.contrib.auth', inside the installed apps in settings.py.
And then you need a registration/ folding inside of the location of your root projects templates folder. And inside that folder, you need password_change_done.html, password_reset_email.html, and a whole buch of other templates to let them reset their password. You can find them all here.
