I am new to Weka. I want to remove the raws with the particular value. For an example, I want to remove Brazil in FIFA world cup dataset.
I think that it helps you.
After opening your data file, choose the filter
choose-> filter->unupervised->instance->removewithvalues
Then adjust the properties,
In here, you have to give the index of which attributes you are going to remove and give the nominal value like first, last or you can give the index of the particular instance.
This video will help you

I am trying to add data to a Map with Danish postcodes, e.g. 1000-9000 (we have four digits in Denmark).
When I add that into a Map, it scatters all over the world, as Power BI do not recognize it as Danish locations, even my Power BI is setup in Danish and the Map has Danish spelled city names.
I tried to add the regions Jylland, Fyn, Sjælland as a country hierarchy, but doing that moved Jylland (Jutland) as a place in Norway...
I also tried to use city names instead of post codes, but then a city shows up in Sweden...
It does not change whether the post code format is Text or Number format, and I have no option to use a Location format in the query.
Can anyone help me use Danish post codes for Map visualization? : )
Thanks
Ok, I solved it myself!
I found the place in the modelling part where I could force PowerBI to accept my city names, region names etc. and it now works.
More detailed: go into the middle of the three left side windows called Data (not Report, not Model), and click on the column you want to change format of. Then find the Tools section and change the Data Category to for example Address, or Country etc. Hope that helps
I want to create a formula where I take the newest value on a cell. The information is updated when someone fills out the Google Form. Basically, there is some information the customer might not fill out, so the information is sparse.
What I want to create is a formula where it always takes the very bottom value of the spreadsheet (newest information). Even if the cell was blank, I want it to output as blank, and if there is an information on that cell, output it as that written value. Is this possible using INDEX and IF formula? Or is there some other formula to solve this problem.
If this doesn't make sense, please comment and I'll answer.
=INDEX(A:A, COUNTA(A:A))
let form sheet be:
then to get last form entry row use:
=ARRAYFORMULA(INDIRECT("form!"&
MAX(IF(form!A:A<>"", ROW(form!A:A), ))&":"&
MAX(IF(form!A:A<>"", ROW(form!A:A), ))))
I am creating an excel sheet with following Data Validation drop down list.
NA
Done
(add some formula here)
Basically, i will be able to select either plain text "NA"/ "Done" from the dropdown list. But sometimes, I want the user to be able to calculate some values based on the cell respective to the row selected so, I want to have one formula as a choice inside the data validation dropdown list. Is this possible?
Data Validation List Source
When I click on Formulae option, it should execute the formula with respect to the cells in that Row
But currently, the formula that i put in doesn't execute, instead it will just show the whole formula in the cell when activated.
1)How can i make it so that when i select the formula from data validation list, it will execute it instead of filling up the cell with it?
2)How do i set the formula so that it will be using the cell from the current Row? (for example, if i am using the data validation List in N60, the formula should adapt itself to use the cell (let's say A60?).
I may not be able to help with the second part, but I was seeking an answer to the first and discovered a solution/workaround using Name Manager.
First, in Formula > Name Manager, create a new reference (the "refers to" will contain whatever formula you are wishing to ultimately display in the validation list. For this example, we use the formula reference "=IF($H54=..." and Name it "UniqueName"
Now, we go into Data Validation, Select List, and input the three items we want displayed in the list, with an equals sign preceding our newly named reference: ie. "NA,Done,=UniqueName"
Note: You can't start with the =UniqueName or validation will try to read it all as a formula and fail.
This method will allow the user to display "NA", "Done", or "=UniqueName" in the cell; if "=UniqueName" is selected, the cell itself will interpret this as a formula and execute it accordingly, displaying the results of "=IF($H54=...", or whateverelse you have designated to use as a named formula.
If it's too late for yours, I hope this helps someone else who may face a similar problem.
While I think I know what you're trying to say. Why don't you just use an IF formula to evaluate everything instead of selecting a drop down for every row manually. You already had it partially solved using IF. Just need to add the criteria for a "Done" and an "NA"
=if(A1="date","Done",if(A1<"date","NA",if(something else until you have all your catergories))
Just going to piggyback off of Mark's response.
If you really needed your named formula to be the first selection in the list, you can setup your list with a leading comma like so:
,=UniqueName,NA,Done
That worked out for my use, and there was no null item listed in the Data Validation drop down. Hope that helps!
1st I want to remove text field for date so the calendar will replace it.
2nd I want to make the status order.. I want to sell the service, so I need to make booking order by calendar. If the date is green client can make an order. If red the client can't book an order. If yellow there certain items can be ordered.
I hope someone can help..
Thanks.
You have to try something at least and ask only for advice then.
Anyway, few suggestions:
it cannot be done using that option field of type date, at least not with the default datepicker.
You will need to create Your own datepicker component that will search for free/partialy/fully ordered days in the database and color the table cells accordingly.
It is not very wise to hide the input - by this visible user could anytime check what date did he pick - if it is not visible he would need to always open the datepicker to check for it...
Disallowing to order some service based on some reservations is highly decreasing Your conversion rate - thus decreasing Your income. I would definitely go the way let the user buy/order anything at anytime while having separate reservation system. If user buys a service at thank You page I would recommend him to book a concrete date for the service to be drawn. Here You do not need to fight with product options which are meant totally for something different that You are trying to.
Keep that in mind (mainly the 4th point) and re-think Your problem.
I have a custom variable set for all visitors; for our registered users it's some value, for unregistered users, it's empty.
I can find unregistered users in an advanced segment using the settings Exclude Custom Variable (Value 02) Matching Regexp .+ -- works brilliantly.
But I need a report of unregistered visitors for a dashboard, and tried to do the same thing with a filter. I have a metric of Visits and a dimension of something all vistors will have (e.g. Browser). My filter is identical to the one in the advanced segment, but ... not brilliant. I get no visits. I have tried to Include with a regex ^$ but no love there, either.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
To understand your problem and the solution yourself, let me illustrate how the data recording works in any collection process (Google Anlaytics is one of the tools used for data collection and analysis):
To record and analyse data, you first decide what you want to record, and then how. Maybe this how is where Google Analytics comes in for you. So, the data that you want to see is the metric, it can have a name and a (usually numeric) value, and each dimension is how you want to separate or drill down into the various views of the data. As an example, if you want to know how many visitors visited your site everyday, and you want to be able to see through which source they came, Daily Visitor Count is your metric and Source is your dimension.
The important thing to understand here is that Dimensions and Metrics are not bound together. What I mean here is that just because you decided that Daily Visitor Counts should be viewable by Source, doesn't add a source to every updation of the Daily Visitor Count metric. In order to view the metric by the dimenision, you need to update a value for the dimension every time you record the metric.
If you don't record a dimension for a metric, then you cannot obtain the value of the metrics for which you didn't record a dimension by applying a filter on the dimension. Because, using a dimension filter only lets you access the values recorded for the dimension, and not all metrics, because, dimensions don't contain values of metrics, only metrics can optionally contain values for dimensions.
So when you query "dimension equals regex +*", it works, with both include and exclude, but you cannot query metrics with empty dimension using a dimensional filter. The best way would be to only add a standard or default value for the dimension every time you record the metric so that you can separate, something like (not set) or unknown.
Hope that helps. :)
I just hope you understand what you were trying to do is conceptually wrong, though it could still have been made technically feasible.
