Every time I go to the AWS login, I click Login and get sent to a Verifying it's you page, where I am supposed to enter a code.
The code is emailed to the right address. There is no spam box, I see it all. But it never arrives.
So I click the Resend button, and 20 minutes later a code arrives. Enter it in, and it is always Invalid.
This seems to happen when I change location, so perhaps is linked to a new IP, but I cannot believe Amazon's system works so poorly.
What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to optimize speed of website and during this process I have found that. A connecting time of around 117ms is incurred every time I request a page. Please see screenshot below for detailed information
This is persistent. Is there any way to reduce this time? What could be the possible reasons:
Is this because of SSL? This website is only accessible.
Or is it an issue with DNS? I am using Godaddy DNS as of now. Will switching to AWS Route 53 provide any benefit.
I am using apache server.
This can be due to multiple reasons
Slow hosting(upgrade if slow).
Hosting location(Use CDN if required).
Plugins/scripts slowing down your site(create and test with html page with just text in it).

For practicing Kafka, I have created a free GCP account.
I have given my account information and money is deducted from my credit card.
When I try to launch my Kafka application page it is again redirected to account information page and it is asking me for payment. I have made the payment for almost 10 times. Kafka application is never launched.
The same happens when I try to link a billing account to my project or perform anything from the GCP console.
I don't understand what went wrong. Can someone please guide me as I am new to GCP as well.
You can try to change your payment method (they vary depending on the country you live in) and of that doesn't help (or you are not able for some reason) I recommend contacting Google Support - in case of any billing issues it's free of charge.
You can contact GCP Billing Support via the chat and explain what's the issue.

I'd install and setup openmeetings instance on virualbox machine, it's goes pretty well. But sometimes after reboot when i'm trying to enter site it's redirecting to openmeetings/install page and says me to configure database, admin account etc.one again.
I am using virtualbox(and snapshots maybe it rolls back some parts of a disk somehow?), ubuntu server 16.04 lts.
Any ideas?
H2 creates DB in the current folder,
maybe some sort of clean-up is performed on reboot?
It is not recommended to use H2 in production. I would use any other supported DB :)

When I tried to access my EC2 instance using Putty, I got as error saying "bad service request ssh-connection". What did I do wrong and how can I fix this problem?
Here is what I did.
Created a new instance with new key pair.
PuTTy gen converted pem file into ppk file.
In PuTTy, I set host name ec2-user#Public DNS(IPv4).
Under Connection-SSH-Auth, I browsed for the ppk file I got earlier.
I unchecked Display pre-authentication banner and checked Bypass authentication entirely.
Then hit open
I should be able to access Amazon Linux Terminal but I got error, "bad service request ssh-connection"
EDIT:
I am sorry if this question was off topic. Since AWS, AWS-EC2, and PuTTy were all legit categories, I thought I could ask questions about them.
In step 3, remove ec2-user# and only keep your public DNS.
In step 5, check pre-authentication and uncheck Bypass authentication.

I just created a Google Cloud Platform account and wanted to start a Compute Engine project. When I tried it asked me to set up my billing info. I put in all my information and pressed "submit and enable billing", but recieved an error:
"An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. [OR-CBAT-05]"
I tried looking it up but i could not find what the error code is for, google directed me to stackoverflow for an answer so now I'm here. Thank you for your time in advance.
This might be due to a suspended billing account. I had an email saying I needed to provide more verification. After that process was finalised I was able to enable billing successfully.
Look for Google Cloud Platform console help.
then
Verify payment information to continue..
