Its too strange. I try to experiment with SDK 5.
At first I open
$fb = new Facebook\Facebook([id,secret,graph)
as next just
$helper = $fb->getPageTabHelper();
die;
I receive "Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Facebook\Exceptions\FacebookSDKException' with message 'Signed request has an invalid signature.'
Put the die; before $helper, no error. So I think, it must be from the helper. But its no signed request. It makes me crazy, searched the half day. Someone an Idea?

*Anyone has any idea as to what could be happening?
I am trying to assert that a few steps in the code (visiting page, providing wrong card-number, password combination and clicking submit)should generate an error from the backend service - I have referred to this already..
and tried the suggestion of using Error Object as the second argument to assert.throws but that doesn't work for me.
i did see this link as well before posting my question,
My problem is - I don't have control over the code that throws the exception/error in this case. (I cannot change it to say Ember.assert etc) I just want to be able to catch an erroneous case.
Secondly, I don't have a component in this case. Its a straight forward API call that's made when click on submit is done, basically an action submitAuthForm is called in controller which calls ember cli mirage scenario that returns the following object problems object.
return new Response(401,{'X-Auth-Token': 'wrong-username-password-combination'},failResponse401);
and the returned object looks like
var failResponse401 = {
problems: [ {
field: null,
index: null,
value: null,
code: '0006',
subCode: '',
details: {},
_type: 'error'
} ]
};
We have a node_module dependency on an in-house exceptions kit that throws an Error object based on this.
Here's my Qunit test
test('ERROR_CASE_visiting /signon, provide cardNumber(2342314) and ' +
'password, submit and expect to see invalid cardnumber/password error',
function (assert) {
assert.expect(2);
assert.throws(
function () {
visit('/signon');
fillIn('#a8n-signon-card-number input', '2342314');
fillIn('#a8n-signon-password input', 'password');
click('#a8n-signon-submit-button button');
},
Error,
"Error Thrown"
);
});
I keep getting this error from Qunit
Error Thrown# 110 ms

Is there anything else that i can try to get it to work.
Is there someway i could somehow pass this test, by wrapping the returned response somehow in a way that it doesn't break my test altogether.
I found a workaround following this link
the user pablobm has posted a link to a helper
I used that to workaround this Qunit issue.
I'm looking for a way to test if a connection is working or not with Doctrine 2.
As in my application users can change by themselves the information connections, I want to check if the user has entered the right login and password.
How can I do that?
I tried to put this code into a try/catch block :
try{
$entityManager = $this->getEntityManager() ;
$repository = $entityManager->getRepository('Authentification\Entity\User');
$userToIdentify = $repository->findOneBy(array('login' => $this->_username, 'password' => $this->_password));
}catch(Exception $e){
$code = Result::FAILURE ;
$identity = "unknow" ;
$messages = array(
"message" => "Wrong login/password combination",
) ;
}
The problem is that even if the information connection is correct, I cannot catch the exception.
Otherwise I get the following error :
<b>Fatal error</b>: Uncaught exception 'Zend\View\Exception\RuntimeException'
with message 'Zend\View\Renderer\PhpRenderer::render: Unable to render template
"layout/layout"; resolver could not resolve to a file' in C:\xampp\htdocs\poemsV3\vendor\zendframework\zendframework\library\Zend\View\Renderer\PhpRenderer.php:451 Stack trace: #0 C:\xampp\htdocs\poemsV3\vendor\zendframework\zendframework\library\Zend\View\View.php(203): Zend\View\Renderer\PhpRenderer->render(Object(Zend\View\Model\ViewModel)) #1 C:\xampp\htdocs\poemsV3\vendor\zendframework\zendframework\library\Zend\Mvc\View\Http\DefaultRenderingStrategy.php(128): Zend\View\View->render(Object(Zend\View\Model\ViewModel)) #2 [internal function]: Zend\Mvc\View\Http\DefaultRenderingStrategy->render(Object(Zend\Mvc\MvcEvent))#3 C:\xampp\htdocs\poemsV3\vendor\zendframework\zendframework\library\Zend\EventManager\EventManager.php(469): call_user_func(Array, Object(Zend\Mvc\MvcEvent))#4 C:\xampp\htdocs\poemsV3\vendor\zendframework\zendframework\library\Zend\EventManager\EventMa in <b>C:\xampp\htdocs\poemsV3\vendor\zendframework\zendframework\library\Zend\View\Renderer\PhpRenderer.php</b> on line <b>451</b><br />
Do you have any idea in how I could test if the connection works?
Thank you.
Do not use the EntityManager directly. You can instead use following to check the connection parameters:
try {
$entityManager->getConnection()->connect();
} catch (\Exception $e) {
// failed to connect
}
That's sadly the only real way to check if something went wrong, since the exception type changes depending on the driver you use.
For the other exception (the view-related one) you simply have to adjust your view scripts path. I suggest you to keep the skeleton application module enabled so that the default layout is always there: you can override it at any time.
You can use.
$cnx = $this->getDoctrine()->getConnection();
$cnx->isConnected() ?
'Connected' :
'not connected';
try {
$return = $facebook->api("/" . $userFromDB["username"] . "/feed",
"post", array(
message => "",
picture => "http://blabla.net/blabla1/img/autopost/" . $blabla2 . ".png",
link => "http://apps.facebook.com/blabla1/?var2=" . $encryptedUserIds[$userFromDB["id"]], //$appPageURL
caption => "Tikla, begen.",
description => $var3,
access_token => $auth["auth_code"],
));
$usersPosted++;
} catch (FacebookApiException $e) {
$userProcessError++;
write_log("blabla");
}
Hello, this is the part of the code where i send posts to users' wall. If there is no exception, the code works flawlessly. Whenever an exception occures, I get this annoying fatal error.
I have tried many things to correct but the script is the same where I make calls to facebook api in other parts of my code.
I searched google and stackoverflow. Noone seems to have this error. Am i the only one? Thanks in advance.
This is the error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Facebook::throwAPIException() in facebook-php-sdk/src/base_facebook.php on line 870
Facebook sdk version i use: 3.2
Php version: 5.3
EDIT: this is how i get access_token for user. I store it into db:
if(isset($code) && $state==$authState){
$accessTokenInformation=file_get_contents($accessTokenURL . $code);
$tmpResult=explode("&", $accessTokenInformation);
if(sizeof($tmpResult)==2){
$tmpAT=explode("=", $tmpResult[0]);
$tmpExp=explode("=", $tmpResult[1]);
if(sizeof($tmpAT)==2 && sizeof($tmpExp)==2){
$tmpDBUserAuth=check_db_for_authcode_for_user(...);
if(empty($tmpDBUserAuth)){
insert_authcode_indb(...);
write_log(...);
}else{
update_authcode_indb(...)
write_log(...);
}
}else{
write_log(...);
echo(' top.location.href="'. $OAuthURL .'"; ');
}
}else{
write_log(...);
echo(' top.location.href="'. $OAuthURL .'"; ');
}
}
EDIT on 2012/11/06: Problem still persists. Please help.
Please check you FB API secrete keys are proper set or not ... I also faced this problem , but i have corrected secrete keys after that it was working perfect.
Try to use the following script
http://www.9lessons.info/2011/09/update-login-with-facebook-and-twitter.html
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Facebook::throwAPIException() in facebook-php-sdk/src/base_facebook.php on line 870
That error message does not make sense.
If I go to line 870 in that file in my IDE, and follow the method name to its declaration, it’s in the same file on line 1237 (all for current version 3.2.0).
So there is no plausible reason for a undefined method error there.
Could you please check if the SDK files got uploaded correctly to your server, or just re-download and re-upload them, to make sure its not a problem with mangled/truncated file contents?
I'm using formidable to receive a file upload with node.js. I send some fields together with a file in a multipart request.
As soon as certain fields arrived, I'm able to validate the authenticity of the request for instance, and I would like to abort the whole request if this is not correct to avoid waisting resources.
I have not found a right way to abort the incoming request. I tried to use req.connection.destroy(); as follow:
form
.on('field', function(field, value) {
fields[field] = value;
if (!fields['token'] || !fields['id'] || !fields['timestamp']) {
return;
}
if (!validateToken(fields['token'], fields['id'], fields['timestamp'])) {
res.writeHead(401, {'Content-Type' : 'text/plain' });
res.end('Unauthorized');
req.connection.destroy();
}
})
However, this triggers the following error:
events.js:45
throw arguments[1]; // Unhandled 'error' event
^
Error: Cannot resume() closed Socket.
at Socket.resume (net.js:764:11)
at IncomingMessage.resume (http.js:254:15)

at node_modules/formidable/lib/file.js:51:5
at fs.js:1048:7
at wrapper (fs.js:295:17)
I also tried req.connection.end() but the file keeps uploading.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
The problem is that formidable didn't understand that you want it to stop. Try this:
req.connection.destroy();
req.connection.resume = function(){};
Of course, this is a somewhat ugly workaround, I'd open an issue on github.
