I want to make a chart.js with multiple lines, which are on the given x-Axis but on different points.
Here is the example:

As you see I have strings in my xAxis, this means I cannot use a linear xAxis.
Is there a way to get the x value of the data connected to the right label?

I am setting the startAngle on my polar chart so the first category starts on the -180 degrees.
But I can't figure out why the data point labels don't correspondingly adjust and rotate. As a result, they show up incorrectly against the wrong data. As you can see in the image, Question 6 still appears where Question 1 should be. The tooltips on each section do appear correctly.
Note: When I use the datalabels plugin, it does show the label correctly. But I am not using it because it does not wrap the labels and also it cuts off the labels if they become too big. In addition I had responsiveness problems with it.
So please suggest a solution without that plugin if possible.

I'm trying to create a "chart" where I only want to show the x-axis. Basically I'm trying to create visualization of a range (min-max) and a point that sits in between like:
I'm unable to find any resources online on how to make this, or what this type of plot is even called. If anyone could help out, that would be awesome!
This is straightforward to achieve through styling a line chart appropriately and using linear x- & y-axes with points defined via x and y coordinates.
By keeping y at 0 you can assure the points all appear in the same horizontal position.
The example below gets the visual result you want, but you'll probably want to disable tooltips for the 'fake' x-axis line via a callback:

I am trying to implement chartJS bar chart and use the legend to filter bars.
I want to set the labels list to be empty because this allows me to remove bars clearly.
I am looking for a way to set the ticks with labels on X axis, since it is empty from text now.

You need to set fill property to false for the first dataset (the red one), to make it transparent.

The horizontalBar chart doesn't appear to handle the second axis as expected. I've tried the following but it doesn't work like expected:

coming to your question the actual problem is with var options={...} it is made to work only with bar charts. Hope you understand

Basically you will need a y-axis for the first dataset which going to hold the labels. And you will need two x-axis for showing the values in the top and in the bottom.
The second dataset will go to the x-axis which is shown at the top.
