In the interactive report I developed with Apex, the table on the home page shows the information of a list of projects, including project name, owner etc. And the project name field of each project is a click which redirect to another page that shows more detailed project's information. In short, there is a link on the home page which directs to the page A. Sometimes, I need to copy and paste the address of this page A and send it to my colleagues so that they can go to that page directly by copying the address to their browser. However, when I tried to use the address to view the page, I got redirect to the home page instead of page A. Why this is the case? How can I achieve the redirection I want in APEX?
P.S. My APEX application do have access control where only authorised people can create and edit items in the report, but everyone can view the item and the page A is the viewing page. I am not sure if this access control have anything to do with the issue.
I got the answer from APEX forum, so I am gonna write the answer here so that it might be of some help.
The url has a session id, which belongs to the app. By default, if you copy and paste this address to another browser, a new session will be created and the old id will not be valid anymore and the url will redirect you to the login page or the home page. If you want to make this url valid all the time, you need change the deep link attribute to be enabled under the authentication. Please refer to Deep Linking for more details.

The scenario
I have implemented social authentication similarly to described by Dimitri Gielisin hist post "Facebook, Google and Custom Authentication in the same Oracle APEX 18.1 app" (http://dgielis.blogspot.com/2018/06/facebook-google-and-custom.html)
The pertinent point is that there is a button which has the request 'APEX_AUTHENICATION=FACEBOOK' which logs the user in and also hard codes the page that the user is taken to.
It works great. (However if I have a login menu item which directs back to the same page - the user name isn't updated on the page.)
The Issue
Default behaviour is for apex to redirect users to the login page when they attempt to access a page which is not publicly available. After logging in the user is taken to the page hard coded page in the button (except for modal dialogues which just produce an invalid session error).
I'd love it if they could sign in and then continue to the page they need to go to. Is there some not extremely cumbersome ways of doing that? I thought of trying to saving the page number I want the user to go to into an application item and then having the button redirecting based on the application item- but while I was saving the page number the dynamic redirect in the button is not working...and I feel like I'm fighting the apex framework...
Is there a better way? If not can a button reference an item for the page number? I was trying &APP_ITEM. but that didn't seem to work...

When I access my site that's being managed by Sitecore, it's redirecting me and asking for Sitecore credentials. I have no idea why but obviously the main site should be viewable to public without needing creds.

This could be from your sitecore cookie still in page editor mode, To fix this add this query string to your URL:
?sc_mode=normal
This will update your cookie and no reddirect to login anymore
Assuming that you have a combined CM/CD environment and that this is specific to your computer or other authors' computers, it is likely that Sitecore is picking up on the fact that you were using the Page Editor in a previous session. When you are using Page Editor Sitecore will drop a cookie called website#sc_mode and set it to "edit". If you return to the page with that cookie set it will push you to the Login Page as it things you are attempting to edit that page.
To resolve this try clearing your cookies or using a browser in Incognito mode/Private Browsing.
If this is happening to other users I would suggest following Martijn's advice in the other Answer and checking your site definition.
Check your site definitions in the web.config and/or the sites.config in the /app_config/include/ folder. Most of the times there is some misconfiguration there.
Check the security roles set on your site pages. If for some reason access has been denied to the 'extranet/anonymous' user you won't be able to browse without being authenticated.

If its a site page, go to library where it is stored and change item level permission of page, so that it can be viewed by only few members.
If its an application page, in page load event check current logged in user's permission and group and according show him the page or redirect him to access denied page.
Not sure what you don't want them to see but each list object can have it's own permissions so you can stop inheritance on a specific List.. remove everyone leaving only the site owner, and the group you want to have access.
The Page will should.. but it won't show any contents.
I was reading over the changes to the Facebook Like button that are scheduled to take place in November 2012, and I'm a bit confused (and hoping someone has an answer).
I understand that the REST endpoints are being removed in favour of regular pages, but here's where I'm confused.
Previously, if I did the following...
Create a page
Add the correct OpenGraph metatags to the page
'Like' the page
... Then an OpenGraph object would be created automatically (and could be verified by visiting http://graph.facebook.com/?id=my_url). If I published to that OpenGraph object, people would receive updates.
However, with the changes, if I understand them correctly, the OpenGraph object is no longer created? Or it is created, but I still need to create a Facebook page to administer and send messages?

That phrasing is a little besides the point.
You create the Open Graph object, by setting up a page with appropriate OG meta tags.
And Facebook will count likes for this URL, like for every other URL.

No admin pages will be created automatically any more; although you can convert existing ones to normal public Facebook pages. But then you have to point the like button to the URL of that new Facebook page instead of your OG URL to be able to publish updates to your fans. (So this will behave basically like a normal Facebook page that was set up to be one in the first place; only this step allows you to “migrate” your existing likers for your OG URL to that page, so you don’t need to have a “fresh start” with your Facebook page.)
The document further describes, what to do if you still need the ability to publish updates to the users liking your OG URL – by providing fb:app_id and fb:admins meta tags:
“This will ensure that the Like Button admin link still appears on the given Open Graph page. The admin page for a given Like Button is also accessible to administrators from https://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/pages”
But publishing updates this way will only work until the Like Button admin page is fully deprecated. From then on, you will have to use a Facebook page, if you want to be able to publish updates to the users who liked your page.
I've seen a similar question asked a few times, but usually it is from people trying to find out which Page is currently accessing their Tab app. (Which you can do by inspecting the signed_request.)
I'm trying to build a UI that will show the user all the Pages that he/she is an Admin of, and then display which of those Pages have my Tab app already installed. I'd like to make a FB graph API call to either a) get the list of Pages that have my Tab app installed or b) get a yes/no answer for whether a particular Page has it installed. Is this possible?
As a fallback, I will make a table in my database to track Page IDs whenever a Page views my Tab (using the aforementioned signed_request) but this won't be as good, because it won't know when someone has uninstalled the Tab from a Page.

In the general case, 'no', without keeping track on your side via the signed_request but if you're already obtaining manage_pages access from the user it's pretty trivial to check if a particular app (i.e, yours) is installed on the page
