Unexpected 'if' inside array. Laravel - if-statement

I'm trying to filter values that will be inside array. For that I used following syntax:
$selected = array(
if ($request->annual!=0) {
'annual' => $request->annual,
}
if ($request->registration!=0) {
'registration' => $request->registration,
}
if ($request->monthly!=0) {
'monthly' => $request->registration,
}
if ($request->exam!=0) {
'exam' => $request->exam,
}
if ($request->laboratory!=0) {
'laboratory' => $request->laboratory,
}
if ($request->computer_lab!=0) {
'computer_lab' => $request->computer_lab,
}
);
But it is throwing syntax error.
syntax error, unexpected 'if' (T_IF), expecting ')'
What is the problem here? Can anyone help me?

PHP not allowed IF directly in Array body.
Assign array values as following:
$selected = array();
if ($request->annual != 0) {
$selected['annual'] = $request->annual;
}
if ($request->registration != 0) {
$selected['registration'] = $request->registration;
}
if ($request->monthly != 0) {
$selected['monthly'] = $request->monthly;
}
if ($request->annual != 0) {
$selected['annual'] = $request->annual;
}

React Native how to get a variable out of an async function and return it

I dont know how to get the variable allP out of this function so i can return it to display on screen.
Ive tried defining the variable outside the function so i could call it in the code but that didnt work. the array prints out in the console log but i just cant seem to get it to show in the return.
sched = async () => {
var i = null;
var getPrice = null;
var allP =[];
try {
const schedinfo = await API.graphql(graphqlOperation(netidget));
this.setState({ schedinfo: schedinfo.data.listLoginModals.items });
for (i = 0; i < schedinfo.data.listLoginModals.items.length; i++) {
getPrice = schedinfo.data.listLoginModals.items[i].Type;
var lowP = await API.graphql(
graphqlOperation(lowest, {
CIndex: getPrice
})
)
if(typeof lowP.data.listlowestprice.items[0] == "undefined") {
lowP = "-";
} else {
lowP = lowP.data.listlowestprice.items[0].Price.toString();
}
if(lowP == " ") {
lowP = "-";
}
allP.push(lowP);
}
console.log(allP);
{this.state.lowprices.map(da => (
<View item={da} key={da.id}>
<Text>{da.Price}</Text>
console.log(da.Price)
</View>
))}
console.log(schedinfo.data.listLoginModals.items.length)
} catch (err) {
console.log('error creating restaurant...', err);
}
};
I want to be able to display the allP array that gets created from the function. Please any help is appreciated thank you so much
Move your code inside of your try sentence to a new async fuction, return it and receive that value on your allP variable (without arrow functions), so:
constructor(){
super();
this.getAllP = this.getAllP.bind(this);
this.sched = this.sched.bind(this);
}
async getAllP() {
try {
....
operations
....
return allP
}
}
async sched() {
var allP = await getAllP();
}

Ember: Setting a component object value within a promise

I have component with a couple of properties, using a promise in the willRender hook to try and create a (pagination) object:
export default Ember.Component.extend({
pagination:null,
testing:null, // to check if this.set is ok within the promise!
willRender() {
let page = {};
let model = this.get('data');
model.get('products').then(relatedItems => {
let maxRecords = relatedItems.get('length');
relatedItems.forEach(function(item,index) {
if (item.get('slug') === itemModel.get('id')) {
if (index === 0) {
page.Prev = null;
page.Next = relatedItems.objectAt(index+1).get('slug');
}
else if (index+1 === maxRecords) {
page.Prev = relatedItems.objectAt(index-1).get('slug');
page.Next = null;
}
else {
page.Prev = relatedItems.objectAt(index-1).get('slug');
page.Next = relatedItems.objectAt(index+1).get('slug');
}
}
});
this.set('testing','hello world');
console.log(this.get('testing')); // hello world
this.set('pagination',page);
console.log(this.get('pagination')); // Object {Prev: "product-1", Next: "product-2"}
},reject => {
console.log('error '+reject);
});
}
})
In my template
{{testing}} // prints hello world
However, if I try and access {{pagination}} eg {{log pagination}}, the browser crashes with a loop printing out the object to the console.
I don't know where I'm going wrong here - any help much appreciated!
It's likely you are triggering the template to rerender causing willRender to fire over and over which causes an infinite loop in your code.
willRender is a non-standard place to do this code, init would be more standard since it only fires on initialization of the component. Even better would be to use
myInit: Ember.on('init', function(){
....
})`
instead of overriding willRender on the object.
try to check whether Object is present at specific position. i think its going undefined during iteration of for loop. try to ensure that ObjectAt is not returning undefined or null value during running of for loop.
relatedItems.forEach(function(item,index) {
if (item.get('slug') === itemModel.get('id')) {
if (index === 0) {
page.Prev = null;
if(relatedItems.objectAt(index+1) ! = undefined) {
page.Next = relatedItems.objectAt(index+1).get('slug');
}else{
page.Next == null;
}
}
else if (index+1 === maxRecords) {
if(relatedItems.objectAt(index-1) ! = undefined) {
page.Prev = relatedItems.objectAt(index-1).get('slug');
}else{
page.Prev = null;
}
page.Next = null;
}
else {
if(relatedItems.objectAt(index-1) ! = undefined) {
page.Prev = relatedItems.objectAt(index-1).get('slug');
}else{
page.Prev = null;
}
if(relatedItems.objectAt(index+1) ! = undefined) {
page.Next = relatedItems.objectAt(index+1).get('slug');
}else{
page.Next = null;
}
}
}
Please ensure that Object at is returning object.
There seems to be a few problems here, would be interested to know what your console errors are.
You don't seem to have defined itemModel so don't know how you're referencing that.
Also you can't access this from within a .then. You need to do something like this to set a component variable.
var _this = this;
promise().then(function(results) {
_this.set('testing', 'hello world');
});
you are not using , after testing:null
there should be , after testing property like that
pagination:null,
testing:null, // i use ',' after testing: null property
try to use your pagination code under init hook rather than willrender hook
init() {
//you code
},

IE9: store.find is failing

I can't seem to fetch new data in Internet Explorer 9. For the purpose of an example I test the store this way:
App.__container__.lookup('store:main').find('style')
The only error I receive is the following:
SCRIPT5022: Error: Assertion Failed: [object Object]
Does Ember-data works out of the box (without polyfills, ...) in Internet Explorer 9?
versions:
Ember: 1.9.1
Ember-data: 1.0.0-beta.12
Problem solved. When doing an AJAX request with jQuery, this normally happens through the XMLHttpRequest object.
On IE8-9, this object is not present, instead it uses XDomainRequest. The simplest fix for this is adding: https://github.com/MoonScript/jQuery-ajaxTransport-XDomainRequest.
ember-data works out of the box with IE8+. According to this issue:
We've been supporting IE8 with our platform (built on Ember) for a
while now. Things I know:
shim/sham is not needed, it's polyfilled by Ember and Ember-Data.
You will need it if you want additional things like .bind() on a function, then you must prepend it to the vendor file (using Brocfile)
and we only include the shim for that purpose, not the sham

Directive to allow decimal numbers with only 1 decimal point

I have an angular application where an input field should allow only positive numbers with one decimal point. In my directive I am replacing anything other than 0-9 and '.'.But currently my application is accepting multiple decimal values.
It should accept:
0.5
0.56
Not
0.5.5 or 0..5
PFB the code:
link: function (scope, element, attrs, modelCtrl) {
modelCtrl.$parsers.push(function (inputValue) {
// this next if is necessary for when using ng-required on your input.
// In such cases, when a letter is typed first, this parser will be called
// again, and the 2nd time, the value will be undefined
if (inputValue === undefined) {
return '';
}
var transformedInput = inputValue.replace(/[^0-9\.]/g, '');
if (transformedInput !== inputValue) {
modelCtrl.$setViewValue(transformedInput);
modelCtrl.$render();
}
return transformedInput;
});
}
This question might seem ignorant but I have tried all the solutions provided before this but changing my regular expression according to the same doesn't seem to work. It accepts right now multiple '.'.
Thanks in advance.
Here is fiddle http://jsfiddle.net/oora0t93/ check it:-
app.directive('inputPrice', function () {
return {
restrict: 'EA',
template: '<input name="{{inputName}}" ng-model="inputValue" />',
scope: {
inputValue: '=',
inputName: '='
},
link: function (scope) {
scope.$watch('inputValue', function(newValue,oldValue) {
if(String(newValue).indexOf(',') != -1)
scope.inputValue = String(newValue).replace(',', '.');
else {
var index_dot,
arr = String(newValue).split("");
if (arr.length === 0) return;
if (arr.length === 1 && (arr[0] == '-' || arr[0] === '.')) return;
if (arr.length === 2 && newValue === '-.') return;
if (isNaN(newValue) || ((index_dot = String(newValue).indexOf('.')) != -1 && String(newValue).length - index_dot > 3 )) {
scope.inputValue = oldValue;
}
}
});
}
};
});
I got it. I did not find a regular expression solution so did it using some javascript string manipulations. PFB the code:
var firstIndexOfDecimal = transformedInput.indexOf('.');
var lastIndexofDecimal = transformedInput.lastIndexOf(".");
if(firstIndexOfDecimal !== lastIndexofDecimal){
transformedInput = transformedInput.substr(0,lastIndexofDecimal) + transformedInput.substr(lastIndexofDecimal+1, transformedInput.length);
}
Thanks for the help.

The correct display name/field for a list item in a Sharepoint list (using Web Services)

I'm creating a program that uses SharePoint Web Services to query and show a Sharepoint list to the user. I can only show one column at a time, so I need to find a 'default column' or 'display column' to show. I know 'Title' is commonly used in many of the content types but I want this to be robust with any type of custom content type or list so I would like to find some way of querying the list to discover this field.
For example: I'm using SharePoint Manager 2010 here and looking at a Link Library (That doesn't have a Title field) but somehow it knows that the list item is called 'http://google.com'. How is it inferring this?
(source: adamburkepile.com)
Looks like DisplayName has quite a bit of logic behind it. Here is the code I got using Reflector:
public string DisplayName
{
get
{
if (!this.IsNew)
{
if ((!this.ParentList.AllowContentTypes && (this.ParentList.BaseType == SPBaseType.DocumentLibrary)) || (this.ParentList.AllowContentTypes && (this.ContentTypeId.IsNonDiscussionFolder || this.ContentTypeId.IsChildOf(SPBuiltInContentTypeId.Document))))
{
string str = (string) this.GetValue("BaseName", false);
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(str))
{
return SPHttpUtility.HtmlDecode(str);
}
}
SPField fieldByInternalName = this.Fields.GetFieldByInternalName("Title", false);
if (fieldByInternalName != null)
{
string fieldValueAsText = fieldByInternalName.GetFieldValueAsText(this.GetValue(fieldByInternalName, -1, false));
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(fieldValueAsText))
{
return fieldValueAsText;
}
}
if (this.ParentList.AllowContentTypes)
{
if (this.ContentTypeId.IsChildOf(SPBuiltInContentTypeId.Link))
{
SPFieldUrlValue value2 = new SPFieldUrlValue((string) this.GetValue("URL", false));
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(value2.Description))
{
return value2.Description;
}
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(value2.Url))
{
return value2.Url;
}
}
if (this.ContentTypeId.IsChildOf(SPBuiltInContentTypeId.Message))
{
Guid discussionTitleLookup = SPBuiltInFieldId.DiscussionTitleLookup;
SPField fld = this.Fields[discussionTitleLookup];
string str3 = fld.GetFieldValueAsText(this.GetValue(fld, -1, false));
if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(str3))
{
return str3;
}
}
}
if (this.ParentList.BaseType != SPBaseType.Survey)
{
using (IEnumerator enumerator = this.Fields.GetEnumerator())
{
SPField field3;
string str5;
while (enumerator.MoveNext())
