How do I make sure that my program exits when Armeria fails to start because of an Address already in use error?
I have the following code:
import com.linecorp.armeria.common.HttpRequest;
import com.linecorp.armeria.common.HttpResponse;
import com.linecorp.armeria.server.AbstractHttpService;
import com.linecorp.armeria.server.Server;
import com.linecorp.armeria.server.ServerBuilder;
import com.linecorp.armeria.server.ServiceRequestContext;
import java.util.concurrent.CompletableFuture;
public class TestMain {
public static void main(String[] args) {
ServerBuilder sb = Server.builder();
sb.http(8080);
sb.service("/greet/{name}", new AbstractHttpService() {
#Override
protected HttpResponse doGet(ServiceRequestContext ctx, HttpRequest req) throws Exception {
String name = ctx.pathParam("name");
return HttpResponse.of("Hello, %s!", name);
}
});
Server server = sb.build();
CompletableFuture<Void> future = server.start();
future.join();
}
}
When I run it once everything is fine.
But when I run it the second time I get an Address already in use error, which is of course expected, but the program doesn't terminate on its own. This may be how it is supposed to be, but how do I make sure that it terminates upon errors during initialization?

It's a bug in Armeria, where Netty event loop threads are not terminated when a Server fails to start up. Here's the fix PR, which should be part of the next release (0.97.0): https://github.com/line/armeria/pull/2288
I am trying to use Desired Capabilities in Selenium Python for IE on our 64bit machine, Windows 2008 as IEDriverServer.exe keeps crashing half way through the test when i use:
cls.driver = webdriver.Ie(Globals.IEdriver_path)
I want try Desired Capabilities, see if it works ok this way.
I have the following in my setup:
class BaseTestCase(unittest.TestCase):
#classmethod
def setUpClass(cls):
desired_caps = {}
desired_caps['platform'] = 'WINDOWS'
desired_caps['browserName'] = 'INTERNETEXPLORER'
#cls.driver = webdriver.Remote('http://192.168.1.103:4444/wd/hub', desired_caps)
cls.driver = webdriver.Remote('http://127.0.0.1:4444/wd/hub', desired_caps)
cls.driver = webdriver.Ie(Globals.IEdriver_path)
cls.driver.get(Globals.URL)
cls.login_page = login.LoginPage(cls.driver)
I run the Selenium Server jar file as follows:
java -Dwebdriver.ie.driver="C:\\IEDriverServer.exe" -jar
selenium-server-standalone-2.53.0.jar
When i run my Selenium Python test i get the following error:
WebDriverException: Message: The best matching driver provider org.openqa.selenium.ie.InternetExplorerDriver can't create a new driver instance for Capabilities [{browserName=INTERNETEXPLORER, platform=WINDOWS}]

If i use:
cls.driver = webdriver.Remote('http://192.168.1.103:4444/wd/hub', desired_caps)
Then I will get the following error:
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond>
How should i set Desired Capabilities in Selenium Python?
Thanks, Riaz
Here is an example to start a remote session with Internet Explorer:
from selenium import webdriver
from selenium.webdriver.common.desired_capabilities import DesiredCapabilities
capabilities = DesiredCapabilities.INTERNETEXPLORER
capabilities.update({'logLevel' : 'ERROR'})
remote_server = "http://127.0.0.1:4444/wd/hub"
driver = webdriver.Remote(remote_server, capabilities)
driver.get('http://stackoverflow.com/')
How can I make file association in Qt installer framework(1.5.0) on Windows? I want to do this:
For example, when I double click myFile.x then my qt desktop application(Windows) will launch and open this file.
I want to correct this in installscript.qs :
component.addOperation("CreateShortcut", "#TargetDir#/A.exe", "#StartMenuDir#/A.lnk");
component.addOperation("RegisterFileType",
"fl",
"#TargetDir#\\A.exe" + "'%1'",
"myFiles",
"text/plain",
"#TargetDir#/A_icon.ico",
"ProgId=A.fl");
component.addOperation("CreateShortcut", "#TargetDir#/uninstall.exe", "#StartMenuDir#/Uninstall.lnk");
When I write this string, it gives parse error.
Output is :
Caught exception: Exception while loading component script: 'D:/Workspace/A/A_installer/A/packages/com.ge.mss/meta/installscript.qs
SyntaxError: Parse error
Backtrace:
()#D:/Workspace/A/A_installer/A/packages/com.ge.mss/meta/installscript.qs:102'
If you are using windows just follow this:
component.addOperation("RegisterFileType",
"bob",
"#TargetDir#\\BobiSoft.exe \" %1\"",
"BobiSoft Files",
"application/x-binary",
"#TargetDir#/bobi_file_icon.ico",
"ProgId=BobiSoft.bob");
I also had this problem, the trick was to replace the ' %1' as many examples say, with \" %1\".
I am trying to configure Magento test automation framework on my system.
When I run phpunit in command line, I am getting following error. Same error I am getting while running test in the netbeans.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method PHPUnit_Framework_TestSuite::isPublicTestMethod() in C:\MTAF\taf\lib\Mage\Selenium\TestCase.php on line 2502
Can some one please suggest some solution for the same.
I changed the code, this is the change I performed:
--- a/framework/Mage/Selenium/TestCase.php
+++ b/framework/Mage/Selenium/TestCase.php
## -409,7 +409,7 ## class Mage_Selenium_TestCase extends PHPUnit_Extensions_SeleniumTestCase
$testMethods = array();
$class = new ReflectionClass(self::$_testClass);
foreach ($class->getMethods() as $method) {
- if (PHPUnit_Framework_TestSuite::isPublicTestMethod($method)) {
+ if ($method->isPublic()) {
$testMethods[] = $method->getName();
}
}
I was getting this error when running phpunit >= 4.0. Downgrading to 3.7.x solved it for me.
I have two applications: c++ service and a RoR web server (they are both running at same VPS)
I need to "send" some variables (and then do something with them) from each other. For exaple, i'm looking for something like this:
// my C++ sample
void SendMessage(string message) {
SendTo("127.0.0.1", message);
}
void GetMessage(string message) {
if (message == "stop")
SendMessage("success");
}
# Ruby sample
# application_controller.rb
def stop
#m = Messager.new
#m.send("stop")
end
I have never used it before, and i even don't know which technology should i search and learn.
Ok, i have found the solution. Its TCP sockets:
Ruby TCP server, to send messages:
require 'socket'
server = TCPServer.open(2000)
loop {
Thread.start(server.accept) do |client|
client.puts(Time.now.ctime)
client.puts "Closing the connection. Bye!"
client.close
end
}
Ruby client, to accept messages:
require 'socket'
host = 'localhost'
port = 2001 # it should be running server, or it will be connection error
s = TCPSocket.open(host, port)
while line = s.gets
puts line.chop
end
s.close
Now you should write TCP-server+client in another application. But you have got the idea.
