I'm trying to deploy django project using AWS S3 and Pipeline. When I try to collectstatic, I get error:
pipeline.exceptions.CompilerError: b'/usr/bin/env: lessc: No such file or directory\n'
After typing which less, I get:
/usr/bin/less
Could you help with fixing it?

I’m trying to deploy a test application to EB. I’m running into an issue. I followed this tutorial: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/latest/dg/dotnet-linux-core-tutorial.html
When I upload the test application, it fails to start. /var/log/eb-engine.log says

or stat /var/app/staging/dotnet-core-tutorial: no such file or directory with file /var/app/staging/dotnet-core-tutorial
So I changed the parent directory in my source bundle so that it exported into /var/app/staging/dotnet-core-tutorial instead of /var/app/staging. Now I get this error

re is no .runtimeconfig.json file for your single application. Please provide a valid application
I confirmed that the source bundle does have a .runtimeconfig.json file.
The .runtimeconfig.json file is generated when you run the dotnet publish -o site command, so check if this command is running properly for you.
If you take a look on the tutorial, section "To create a source bundle" you have this file, so check the steps that you already did.
Also if you want to force this file to be generated you can add set
<GenerateRuntimeConfigurationFiles>true</GenerateRuntimeConfigurationFiles> directly, but this is normally needed when you are not creating executable files like class libraries.

I am trying to upload projects to an AWS ec2 instance, build them, and deploy them.
Right now, you can see the structure in the picture below.
I checked that the .zip file is saved without error in s3.
An error like this occurs when its building in codedeploy:
I tried googling. I tried to create a codedeploy application. I tried searching. Nothing has worked so far.
It says it could not locate the file, but there is actually a file in the directory.
This is my appspec.yml:
I really want to find a solution. Any help will be appreciated. I've been trying to solve it by myself for 4 days now.
Have you tried to manually execute your deployment in CodeDeploy applications via AWS Console ?
I am getting following error while re-deploying the site using code-deploy and code pipeline
The overall deployment failed because too many individual instances failed deployment, too few healthy instances are available for deployment, or some instances in your deployment group are experiencing problems.
The first deployment works without any issue, however if make a small change within index.html file and click on release change, my source stage gets succeeded but it fails on deploy stage, and if i put the original file back in S3 i get the above error. Version is enabled on S3, code agent is also running on windows machine
Finally got the exact error message from the code deploy log.
Can anyone help as to why i dont see this error with original deployment and what changes when i only make small change in index.html and dont change anything else and save it with the same name, it fails

my appspec.yml file is in the root directory, nothing is changed from original file
This issue is resolved, when i was zipping the folder, i had another folder within which i had appspec.yml which was causing the issue e.g test/appspec.yml
when i place appspec.yml in root dir this fixed the issue
I am getting following error while deploying using code deploy agent
/opt/codedeploy-agent/deployment-root/6d3f114b-72a9-4d1a-9d65-1227b6839916/d-FWIG1AI1M/deployment-archive/appspec.yml
The problem is the appspec.yml gets created in folder inside the current deployment id.
Please advise as what is wrong?
Thanks
Do you have the error log? The place where appspec file is used looks good to me, according to http://docs.aws.amazon.com/codedeploy/latest/userguide/reference-appspec-file.html
I'm new to AWS Eleastic Beanstalk. I'm trying to deploy a new application through awsebcli and I'm getting the following error:
"Error: OSError :: [WinError 145] The directory is not empty '.elasticbeanstalk\app_versions'
I was able to init the eb application. I am running the command line under administrator privileges.
Please Help.
I've just ran into the same issue.
"eb deploy" temporarily creates a subfolder "app_versions" in the ".elasticbeanstalk" folder at the root of the project that contains the zip file to be uploaded to S3. Once done, the folder gets deleted. Check whether any software on your computer might be responsible for preventing this.
The cause for me was a files-syncing software (Dropbox-like) that was watching the entire project for file/folder changes.
I'm developing a Django Application and I get this message -
Uploading app to S3. This may take a while. Upload Complete.
How to fix every time it happens
Disable/Pause file syncing applications, such as: Google Drive Sync/OneDrive/DropBox
Delete the (If exists) mysite.elasticbeanstalk\app_versions , don't worry, it's created each time you type "eb deploy"
Open Command prompt in the folder mysite\ and run the command
pip freeze > requirements.txt
Navigate mysite\ and run again eb deploy should work
The message I get when it's not working
