Does Spring Data Neo4j support wildcard search with whitespaces in findByAttribtuteContains (....) - regex

Question

I have a full text index name attribute on a person class. However, I when I try to search using the method queries with an name like "Joe Bloggs". I get the following exception with the GraphRepository finder method

I have tried escaping the whitespace with \, enclosing the name in brackets. However, findByLike works with whitespaces but it seems to work only on a word by word basis which is not good for autocomplete.
