this happens to all the projects . this problem started unexpectedly...
Looks like you may have accidentally modified the Django code in your installation, because this is not what line 18 of this file looks like in the actual Django source code. Please try to uninstall and reinstall Django.

I am trying to add my data to database in my server. I use exactly the same JSON file in my local machine and it works. But when I do the same in server it gives me Deserialization Error.

Checked the JSON again and again but it still working on local but the same error on server.
I am using Ubuntu on the server. And didn't have git-lfs installed. To solve this issue:
Install it with sudo apt-get install git-lfs.
Then run git lfs pull on project directory.
And then I managed to work with the JSON data as I wanted.
I updated my Django project to version 2.2.2 and now when I call to ipdb for debugging, the server tell me that error. If I go back to Django 2.2.1, the error disappears.
System check identified no issues (0 silenced).

Try using the --reload flag to run runserver.
./manage.py runserver --noreload
It stops the server reloading on code changes but I think avoids the issue you're having.

In case anyone else runs into this. So the issue stemmed from modifying the hue.ini file before running the install. Rolling back to the original hue.ini resolved the issue. I must have had a typo in the modified version, thus causing the parse error above.

How can I overcome the problem?
From doing a quick search, it looks like this error happens when both Django and IPython are installed, since apparently Django will attempt to use the IPython shell.

I have found in the documentation that django.core.servers.basehttp.AdminMediaHandler from 1.4 would be replaced with django.contrib.staticfiles.handlers.StaticFilesHandler. My question is where do I place the StaticFilesHandler in place of the AdminMediaHandler?

I have now tried to merge the two patches together by placing git+git://github.com/dcramer/django-devserver#egg=django-devserver in my requirements. But I am still receiving the same error when trying to deploy
No need to try and merge the patches of django-devserver together. Django-devserver 0.5.0 is compatible with Django 1.5, once I placed 'django-deveserver 0.5.0' in my requirements.txt my app could deploy without crashing.
