When i'm using this code every thing work fine (without error) but the message is not send (submited)
from twill.commands import *
url='http://www.i-tchat.com/shoutbox/shoutbox.php?idShoutbox=116303'
user= 'Toto'
mess="Test message"
go(url)
formclear('1')
fv("1", "username", user)
fv("1", "message", mess)
showforms()
submit('0')
Any Idea ?

try
submit(url)
when you press the submit button you are redirected back to the same page, have you read the source code before?

Django-templated-email does not send email

I am using the following package https://github.com/vintasoftware/django-templated-email in a Django app to try and send an email. I am running it inside a django management command.
When I run the command the email part outputs to the console but no email is actually sent out. The SMTP settings and such are correct as emails work fine for other areas of the application.
from templated_email import send_templated_mail
send_templated_mail(
template_name='welcome',
from_email='from#example.com',
recipient_list=['to#example.com'],
context={
'username':"test",
'full_name':"test",
'signup_date':"test"
},
)
Any help is appreciated. I suspect I have misunderstood the syntax of the package.
Signup_date must be date and username and full_name must use single quote

why I am getting this output in djangorestframework-jwt

hello I have implemented JWT in my test project using this package "djangorestframework-jwt"
I have generated the token by giving my "username" and "password"
but the problem is that I am getting this output bypassing my token with the endpoint
I am using postman to test API,Django=2.2.12, python 3.7.6
I am not getting my data from the database
{"eno":["This field is required."],"ename":["This field is required."],"esal":["This field is required."],"eaddr":["This field is required."]}
Your question is not correct, but I try to explain you what happend. So,
You try send POST request to your /api/ route and you got error because you dont send any required data. Go to Body tab and click on 'raw' radio button and than change 'Text' to JSON and insert correct JSON with data that you want to send to your server, it will be looks like:
{
"eno": "your_eno",
"ename": "your_ename"
.....
}
You should read about it if you dont know.

Cognito Custom Message Trigger doesn't have any effect

I am trying to customize the message sent to the user pre-verification by using the custom message trigger, I verified that the data returned from the lambda is valid and the modifications are as I want them to be, however it seems that those changes are not taking any effect as I get the standard verification details to my email
I failed to find any solutions in aws docs, anyone had the same issue ?
package main
import (
"fmt"
"github.com/aws/aws-lambda-go/events"
"github.com/aws/aws-lambda-go/lambda"
)
// Handler will handle our request comming from the API gateway
func Handler(event events.CognitoEventUserPoolsCustomMessage) (events.CognitoEventUserPoolsCustomMessage, error) {
if event.TriggerSource == "CustomMessage_SignUp" {
event.Response.EmailMessage = "Welcome to myapp, please click the following link to verify your email, this is a custom message"
event.Response.EmailMessage = fmt.Sprintf(`Please click the link below to verify your email address. https://apigateway.myapp.com/auth/validate?client_id=%s&user_name=%s&confirmation_code=%s`, event.CallerContext.ClientID, event.UserName, event.Request.CodeParameter)
}
return event, nil
}
func main() {
lambda.Start(Handler)
}
It seems that in the cognito panel under message customizations verification type code needs to be checked (not link), after I did that the trigger does change the message
It works also for verification link, but you have to use the code parameter as {##Verify email##} and not {####} in your User Pool - Message customization settings. And then also use {##Verify email##} keyword in your html template.

Graph OAuthException 1500 : The url you supplied is invalid

As of today, almost all of my app's calls to share links on user's feeds are failing with the following error:
{
"message": "(#1500) The url you supplied is invalid",
"type": "OAuthException",
"code": 1500
}
Uisng PHP cURL, I'm posting to https://graph.facebook.com/{user_id}/feed and submitting a link parameter pointing to a valid, working URL (plus message params) etc.
Strangely, I can issue a command line cURL request and the request seems to work correctly (at least I haven't had an error yet).
I don't want to file a bug report yet incase I've missed something in a breaking migration. Any ideas as to what may be causing this?
http://developers.facebook.com/bugs/476666205677592
I have this problem too. it happened randomly. I'm sure the url I supplied is valid and can not reproduce it. So reported bug here..
Erro While FB Publish: {contents = "(#1500) The url you supplied is invalid"}
Solution:
1. Go to: https://www.facebook.com/
2. Click on Setting > manage app
3. Select "Edit App" button
4. Select "Permission" under the "Setting" panel at left side
5. Make Auth Token Parameter: To "URI Fragment(#access_token=…)"
6. Click "Save Changes" button.
Its fixed now!!!
The solution for me was:
1) I uploaded photo to my facebook user account
$fb->setFileUploadSupport(true);
$fb->setAccessToken('access token of my user (just to post an image)');
var_dump($fb->api('/me/photos', 'POST', ['image' =>'#F:\\fb\\fb_2.jpg','msg' =>'sss']));
2) After that set access for this picture to "For everyone" on my facebook page.
3) Then took var_dumped id to url https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid={var_dumped id}
4) For every user, authorized my app, the following code started work normally $fb->api('/' . $fbuserid . '/feed', 'POST', [ 'link' => 'https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid={var_dumped id}', 'message' => 'my post', 'type'=>'photo']);

Sending email not working on heroku

I have this function in forms.py. There is currently no email specifications in my settings.py.
def send_email(FROM_NAME,FROM,TO,SUB,MSG,EXISTING_EMAIL,EXISTING_PASSWORD):
FROMADDR = "%s <%s>" % (FROM_NAME, FROM)
LOGIN = EXISTING_EMAIL
PASSWORD = EXISTING_PASSWORD
TOADDRS = [TO]
SUBJECT = SUB
msg = ("From: %s\r\nTo: %s\r\nSubject: %s\r\n\r\n" % (FROMADDR, ", ".join(TOADDRS), SUBJECT) )
msg += MSG+"\r\n"
server = smtplib.SMTP('smtp.gmail.com', 587)
server.set_debuglevel(1)
server.ehlo()
server.starttls()
server.login(LOGIN, PASSWORD)
server.sendmail(FROMADDR, TOADDRS, msg)
server.quit()
I call it my views.py like so
send_email('my_name','from_me#gmail.com','to_som1#gmail.com','my subject','mymessage','my_existing_email#gmail.com','password_to_existing_email')
This works locally. I have tested it with yahoomail and gmail. But when I upload to heroku it gives the error "(535, '5.7.1 Please log in with your web browser and then try again. Learn more at\n5.7.1 support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=78754 et6sm2577249qab.8')"
Can anyone help?
You want to use this:
FROMADDR = "%s <%s>" % (your_name, your_email)
You shouldn't be building emails with string interpolation, that's a good way to get your site used to send spam via header injections. See my answer here for details on how to construct emails securely.
Generally speaking, when formatting from addresses, you should use the format Display Name <email#example.com>. See RFC 5322 for details.
Have you read the page linked to in the error message?
If you're repeatedly prompted for your username and password, or if
you're getting an 'invalid credentials' or 'web login required' error,
make sure your password is correct. Keep in mind that password are
case-sensitive.
If you’re sure your password is correct, sign in to your account from
the web version of Gmail instead at http://mail.google.com
In most cases signing in from the web should resolve the issue
Here is what worked for me. After getting the error Please log in with your web browser and then try again. Learn more etc. when trying to send email from my web application, I logged in to the email via browser from my local computer.
After I logged in, there was a yellow notification bar on top which asking me if I want to allow external application access my mail. I confirmed this and Google asked me to log in to the account from the application within the next 10 mins. This will white-list the application.
