I have a Java application.
I want to get incidents, requirements, and all details from Service Now using its REST API.
From the demo service now, I am trying to get the JSON. If I give a URL like following for a project with Project name, I am getting the Project details only.
https://demochannel.service-now.com/pm_project_list.do?JSONv2&sysparm_action=getRecords&displayvalue=all&displayvariables=true&sysparm_query=short_description=Demo%20project%20(small)
Based on this, I want to get incidents, requirements and other aspects what Service now provides.
If I give URL like
https://demochannel.service-now.com/incident.do?JSONv2&sysparm_action=getRecords&displayvalue=all&displayvariables=true
It will give all the incidents, which is more than 10000 in the demo. In both project and
It has system id, and number and all. From Project if I take sys_id and query incidents by sys_id, I am getting empty response.
I found only Project task under Project, and I think I can query project tasks by parent sys id.
How I can I relate the project and other aspects like incidents, requirements, change, resources, and all others and query them based on Project?
I would check out the REST API as opposed to the JSONv2 API: https://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=CSHelp:REST_API

I was searching in the Facebook API documentation, but I can't find what I am looking for. So, what I am looking for is is there an API for creating your custom DO action. For example:
John Johson is riding a bike.
What I want is to send this 'riding' as a custom word coming from my app. And also 'bike' as a custom item as well.
The other example I can think about is the running apps in Facebook. When you start to run and connect the app with your Facebook the app can say.
John Johson is running using Runtastic.
Thanks!
Well, you’re a little too late on that one.
That used to be possible, it was called Custom Open Graph Actions - https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/opengraph/custom
But those are now deprecated, you can not use them any more in new apps (and for existing ones, they will be removed within a year as well), see https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/opengraph/custom-open-graph-deprecation
Now you can only use the built-in actions and objects, https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/opengraph
I have been working on developing a Rally API using python with the help of links pointed by Rally help (Pyral). My code connects well with the Rally server and pulls specific user story I want, but not the columns I am interested in. I am aiming to pull [full] specific reports with fields such as project, tags, etc. under the 'Reports' tab. I tried to find out how can I do it but didn't get direction. Also, the specific user stories I am able to pull include some weird fields like c_name, c_offer and the like. I would really appreciate if someone could help me through this. Like to connect to a specific project/workspace in Rally we have the following code where it asks the details in the manner below:
rally = Rally(server='', apikey='',workspace='',project='')
Is there any way to specify what report/columns I want?
Thanks in advance
Most of the reports on the Reports tab are rendered by a separate Analytics 1 service outside of the standard WSAPI you've been communicating with. Some of that data is available in WSAPI -IterationCumulativeFlowData, ReleaseCumulativeFlowData. What data specifically are you looking for?

I tried changing my workflow to just send an email to check whether there is something wrong with the workflow but emailing work
I suspect it has something to do with the workflow engine service user (if there is such a thing) trying to create and Enterprise Project.
I and the admin so I have the full access but for some reason the workflow is running as a different user on my behalf.
It is a simple workflow and it looks like this
And the list looks like this with its mapping with the Project Web App Fields
Any reasons why this is happening?
How do I resolve the issue?
If its a workflow service user what is the user that I can give full access to creating Enterprise Projects
Since this is SharePoint Online we are talking about it leverages Azure Workflows. Impersonation is discontinued in SharePoint Designer so you will have to use the App Step, to do that you will need to first to activate Allow workflow to use app permissions feature, then create App Step action where you will place your create project action.
You can find more information on how to add App Step as well as how to setup permissions here:
App step in SharePoint Designer
(MSDN) Create a workflow with elevated permissions by using the SharePoint 2013 Workflow platform
Do you have schedule template associated with your EPT?
if yes, then you have to include that template to that group's category within selected projects section.
Go to the category of that user's group, select the project template and include it into selected projects.
You can find steps and details in this blog by my colleague: http://www.epmpartners.com.au/blog/sharepoint-list-workflow-failing-when-creating-project-from-list-item/
hope this helps.
I am in the process of doing my Java Coding to create delegators for my users via API. On the Google Developers page, the examples given for Java coding still use the sample.appsforyourdomain.gmailsettings.GmailSettingsService library.
My first question is, is this library or sample JAR file still usable with the new OAuth2.0? If it is, where can I download the file from?
Secondly, I am trying to register delegates for the users on my domain and after registration, I would also like to change the settings of the opened conversations to "Leave conversation unread when opened by others". Is this possible by API?
I have been tasked with creating a web service(usingVS2010) to query TFS (2010) by the workitem number. The user would access the web service, then type in the workitem number and project name and hit a go button. This would call the web service, retrieve the title, and description and display it for the user on a seperate application. So starting this process I thought I would create a simple console application that does the same thing. I was able to connect to the server and I am able to see the collection of project that exists. What I am looking for is some help in querying the Server so that I can type in a number and get a response in my console. Does anyone have any examples, or direction or websites? While I wait for an answer I will be searching the web. Thanks in advance.
You'll want to use the TFS SDK to query work items programmatically.
Ewald Hoffman has posted an excellent example of how to get a work item by ID:
Part One discusses how to get connected to your server
Part Two shows how to query for a work item by ID.
