When trying to use the lynx web browser (version 2.8.8dev12) I'm running into a problem with cookies. Whenever I try to check out (order with 1-click) I am asked to enable cookies. I have accepted all cookies, but it doesn't seem to be sending them. I found an old bug report with this problem from 2008, but while it says it has been fixed I'm still running into it.
I used sudo apt-get install lynx on raspbian.
For some reason if I uncheck send useragent and use amazon.com/access everything works.

I try to install cyberpanal in digitalocean droplet, but it does not install successfully.
After that when i visited my website a '404 not found' default page from LiteSpeed is shown. Also the Apache is not running

If you have an issue with installing the CyberPanel, please consider launching a CyberPanel from the marketplace directly. It should be much easier for you to setup a server.
CyberPanel uses OpenLiteSpeed as a default web server, so you should not expect an Apache run by default.
Before visiting the page, did you create a website on the control panel yet? If not, then a returned 404 status code is expected.

If you have more question for CyberPanel, I'd recommend you ask in their forum https://community.cyberpanel.net/
I got the err_connection_refused when trying to accessing django running on wsl2 (http://localhost:8000) from Windows but when I use curl http://localhost:8000 from Windows terminal bash, it's working fine. I have tried to add a new firewall inbound rule for port 8000 but it's still not working. Is there anything else I need to take care of.
Thanks a lot
Seems like a forwarding problem. WSL2's interface is NAT'd, whereas WSL1 was bridged by default. WSL seems to do some "auto-forwarding" of ports, but only on localhost. However, sometimes this auto-forwarding mechanism seems to "break down". The main culprit seems to be hibernation or Windows Fast Startup (which are both closely-related features).
Does the problem resolve if you do a wsl --shutdown and then restart the WSL2 session? If so, try disabling Windows' Fast Startup. I already had Fast Startup disabled due to a different (non-WSL issue) on my system, so that could be related to why I am not able to reproduce.
Along the same lines, do you Hibernate instead of powering off? In that case, a wsl --shutdown might resolve as well.
For future readers, note that the above two points seem to resolve the issue for most people who have upvoted and responded in the comments. However, if that does not work for you, the following were my original "additional suggestions":
For some additional ideas, see this github issue. There are some suggestions on services that might be needed. (Side question - Are you running Windows Home or Professional?)
Is there any chance that your Windows hosts file (e.g. c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) points localhost to an IP other than 127.0.0.1? If I attempt to access via my local Windows IP address, rather than 127.0.0.1 or localhost, I get an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED as well.
Since you were looking at the firewall rules, maybe look at a forwarding rule instead of just an inbound allow?
If all else fails, try exporting/backing up the WSL2 session (see wsl --export), then import it in as a new WSL1 session. See if it works there.
On my WSL2/Ubuntu 20.04 system, I attempted to reproduce (but haven't been able to yet) with the following steps:
mkdir -p ~/src/dj-test
cd ~/src/dj-test
python3 -m venv dj
source dj/bin/activate
pip install Django
django-admin startproject config .
python manage.py runserver
(although I used activate.fish since I'm running the fish shell)
From Vivaldi web browser in Windows, accessed localhost:8000, which returned "The install worked successfully! Congratulations! ..."
curl under Powershell Core worked as well.
I'm trying to use an older version of Firefox on AWS (running selenium, 55 isn't compatible) but I haven't had any luck. When I try to download the compressed older files, I get
(firefox:6186): GConf-WARNING **: Client failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon:
/usr/bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally without any error message
Any ways to fix this/alternate ways to download?
I faced same issue with firefox when I was running selenium project with it. I did the following things that helped me. First uninstall the firefox by using command,
sudo apt-get remove --purge firefox
Some of the old files could also be there, you need to remove them manually.
Then you can install the previous version from the link provided below which shows list of all previous versions of the firefox, version 54, works fine for selenium.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-older-version-of-firefox
When you install it, Mozilla build for Firefox would be opened as a browser and you can perform selenium tests there.
Hope this helps!
phpMyAdmin on my server is giving me a message
A newer version of phpMyAdmin is available and you should consider upgrading. The newest version is 4.1.7, released on 2014-02-09.
My tech support at MycPadmin.com cannot find the exact patch for the cpanel current version - WHM 11.40.1 (build 11).
Can you please tell me where to find this patch. Thank you.
Since your hosting provider is using a packaged version distributed by cPanel, you can either download the official phpMyAdmin source and install it manually out side of the existing phpMyAdmin installation, or you can wait for cPanel to provide an update.
As an aside, phpMyAdmin provides a specific way for other packages that include phpMyAdmin (like cPanel in this case) to suppress that warning, and it's probably an oversight that they don't. In the meantime, you could also turn off the warning by editing your config.inc.php and adding the line $cfg['VersionCheck'] = false;
I'm trying to get Mylyn and Redmine work together so I can manage tasks right inside Eclipse. I saw this on redmine wiki http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/HowTo_Mylyn but I think it's for the old version of Mylyn.
I can't find the Generic Web Connector plugin for Mylyn but there's this Web templates plugin. I think that one replaced the Generic Web Connector. But it's quite different from the screenshots posted at the Redmine wiki. There's no Task URL, New Task URL, etc.
Here is what you are looking for:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/redmin-mylyncon/
A Mylyn connector specially for RedMine. It works fine with eclipse ganymede.
The update site is: http://redmin-mylyncon.sourceforge.net/update-site/N/
Here are the steps to perform integration between Eclipse Mylyn and Redmine.
I assume that Eclipse, Mylyn and Redmine are already installed, the latter somewhere in $REDMINE_HOME. Tested with Eclipse 3.7 and Redmine 1.2.1.
Summarily, you need to install an Eclipse plugin AND a Redmine plugin.
Go to $REDMINE_HOME/vendor/plugins and run
git clone git://redmin-mylyncon.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/redmin-mylyncon/redmine-mylyn-connector
(Re)start the server, and in Redmine under Administration/Plugins the Mylyn Connector Plugin should be listed
Again in Redmine, under Administration/Settings/Authentication, check the "Enable REST web service" field
In Eclipse, install the Eclipse connector via its update site
http://redmin-mylyncon.sourceforge.net/update-site/N/
Create your repository and check that it connects, then you are good to go!
See this manual.

As of july 2012 now there is a new dedicated Redmine-Mylyn-Connector under active development for Redmine 2.x! (Got to admit, I haven't tested it yet.)
I am in the process of testing the 1.x connector that can be found on sourceforge, I will edit this post once I am done.
EDIT:
The update-site for the mylyn-plugin from the link in the accepted posting works.
As well as the mylyn-connector for the redmine installation. (Tested with 1.3.2 installation, don't forget to restart the web server after installing it. ;))
But both things aren't working out... once the mylyn-connector is installed, the web-interface is not working anymore. ;(
EDIT2:
The special connector works with 2.x and Mylyn finally looks proper.
http://danmunn.github.com/redmine_mylyn_connector/ the redmine server plugin.
http://kenjiru.ro/blog/2012/02/install-the-redmine-mylyn-connector-for-eclipse another server plugin link and the eclipse connector plugin
Will look like this.
As of yesterday, Sven has taken down the update site (if you go there, you'll find nothing) since someone reported him to Sourceforge (see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3441532&group_id=228995&atid=1075435).
So, there are NO binaries available now for Eclipse. Does anyone know of alternative ways to get these plugins? I have no clue how to compile.
The GIT and SVN repositories are there, but again as I sad, I'm not a java programmer. Can anyone offer Sven a site where he can store the binaries as an Update?
