The column is created in my list as a managed metadata type column but the termset i want the users to choose from is not filled in in settings. Anyone has a hint to set the TermSet of the managed metadata column?
the getDefaultTermStoreId() and the getTermSetIdByName(string) give me the right GUID; i checked that!

We should add

I am rewriting an existing application and am required to use the existing application queries using JPA 2. How do I write a Named Query that replaces a dynamic query that will add sections to the where clause based on a value selection. In other words, if a value is selected from a drop down box, I will add a AND/OR section to the where clause. If not, that where clause section is omitted. For example:

I am creating a query inside a function. Everything works fine until this line:

As per Twitter, make sure you have a custom tag path pointing to [instance]/customtags - which should be there by default. You could use a mapping, pointing to one of the subdirectories within that [instance]/customtags directory, eg: /coldfusion pointing to [instance]\CustomTags\com\adobe\coldfusion, then use:
ulist = new coldfusion.query();
// etc
I'd just use the custom tag directory approach though.
Try using the full path:
ulist = new com.adobe.coldfusion.query()
I am trying to filter the list of results returned by the following web service call to a SharePoint list. When I have

Try using query.InnerXml instead of query.InnerText.
I'm implementing a custom field in Sitecore for the Content Editor, and I need to be able to open the Rich Text editor and get the data from there. I'm not really sure where to look though, nor how to go about it.
Had to decompile the Sitecore.Kernel DLL in order to figure this out.
First thing is to spin off a call from the Context.ClientPage object
So, for my situation:

I am learning T4 templates right now, and all examples I got on internet is about using the tables for code generation. I want to use stored procedure result columns to generate automated UI, is it possible? OR I have to create view for same query? in that case, how to read from view?

If you don't actually want to execute the stored procedure as various stored procedures have a number of different parameters passed then you could use the sp_describe_first_result_set system stored procedure to return the columns of the result set assuming there is just one.
