Ember Inspector won't detect application using Grunt - ember.js

I'm currently digging into Ember.js, using Yeoman as an automation tool for project deployment. Since Grunt is already included in Yeoman, I'm using it to fire up a Grunt Server everytime I'm working on my project.
I just started my very first Ember.js project using Yeoman when I realized, that Chrome's Ember Inspector Extension isn't able to detect my application as an Ember.js app when I'm running my Grunt Server at localhost. I've already checked the "Allow access to file URLs" option within the Extension settings, still no detection.
When I work on the project without running the Grunt Server, Ember Inspector detects my application immediately.
Any solution how I can use the Inspector while running Grunt?

Change your grunt to run on port 80.
Honestly it might be a problem localhost not being allowed with the extension, but I have a hard time believing that. Can't connect to localhost from Chrome extension

Degugging a react native / expo app with webstorm

I can't debug my react native / expo app in WebStorm, but I can in Visual Studio Code.
I have a react native app that I can successfully run using expo. I set up the configuration according to the info on this site:
https://blog.jetbrains.com/webstorm/2018/02/webstorm-2018-1-eap-181-3263/#debugging-expo
When I click "run" or "debug" and "Debug JS Remotely" is turned off, the bundler builds a JS bundle and the app starts on my devices.
But once I turn on "Debug JS Remotely", the bundler only says:
Starting custom debugger by executing: : [my working directory] [my working directory again]
and never goes on to build the JS bundle.
After a short while, a red screen appears on the device, and it says:
Unable to connect with remote debugger
Timeout while connecting to remote debugger
onFailure
DevSupportManagerImpl.java:851
onFailure
WebsocketJavaScriptExecutor.java:83
run
WebsocketJavaScriptExecutor.java:142
handleCallback
Handler.java:790
dispatchMessage
Handler.java:99
...
The bundler doesn't say anything more than the message above.
As soon as I turn off remote debugging, the the bundler starts building again and finishes with
"Building JavaScript bundle: finished in ...ms"
as usual, but the device, again, shows the red screen with aforementioned messages, or doesn't show anything but the regular white screen with a message at the bottom saying "Downlading JavaScript bundle 100,00%". I either have to stop and restart within WebStorm or I have to close the expo app and re-open it. Either way will make the app start again on my device.
This is my first time working with javascript, react native, expo, so I am not sure, but it should be possible to debug in WebStorm directly, right? As mentioned, in Visual Studio Code everything including debugging works fine, so I don't think it's anything in the code. Maybe someone here has an idea where the problem lies?
node -v: v11.6.0
react-native -v: react-native-cli: 2.0.1, react-native: 0.57.1
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

HOWTO
Looks like there's been an update to how you can setup Configurations since you tried.
Try changing the Bundler host to 127.0.0.1 and try again.
I just setup Webstorm v2020.2 yesterday to debug my Expo application and it is working as expected.
These instructions were all that I required: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/webstorm/react-native.html#ws_react_native_create_run_config
On the main menu, go to Run | Edit Configurations, click icons.general.add.svg and select React Native from the list. The Run/Debug Configuration: React Native opens.
Choose whether you want WebStorm to build and launch the application for you:
Select the Build and launch checkbox if you are launching your application for the first time or if you have updated its native code since the last run.
If your application uses Expo, clear the checkbox because this bundler takes care of the process itself.
If you selected the Build and launch checkbox, choose the target platform, Android or iOS. Depending on your choice, WebStorm will run the bundler with react-native run-ios or with react-native run-android.
Optionally, type the arguments to be passed to React Native, for example, specify the simulator type through the ‑‑simulator flag: ‑‑simulator="iPhone 4s".
In the Bundler host field, specify the host where the React Native bundler runs, the default value is localhost.
If you are using Expo, change the default bundler host to ensure successful connection with the debugger. This connection may fail because WebStorm by default uses localhost to start debugging while Expo expects 127.0.0.1 or an external IP address depending on what is selected in Connection field of the Metro bundler configuration. See Debugging a React Native application that uses Expo for details.
In the Bundler port field, specify the port on which the React Native bundler runs, by default 8081 is chosen, learn more from the React Native official website.
Choose the Node.js interpreter to use. This can be a local Node.js interpreter or a Node.js on Windows Subsystem for Linux.
Specify the path to react-native-cli and the working directory of the application. Optionally, type the environment variables for react-native run-android or react-native run-ios.
By default, WebStorm starts the React Native bundler automatically when you invoke the run/debug configuration. If you have already started the bundler from outside WebStorm, for example, from the command line, you can re-use it without stopping and restarting. Select your bundler in the Before Launch area and click Remove.

Django Deployment on windows

I am learning python and Django now. I have a question related to deploying Django project on windows 7. I know how to start the test server in django and see the project. But I have to do start the server manually every time I restart the PC. Also I have to keep the terminal window open.
Consider the below scenario for php projects.
We copy and paste the php files in htdocs or www folder in apache server and access them using the respected url. Web Server is running in the background. We dont have to start the server on windows restart.
Is something similar possible with Django on apache or any other server?
If yes, how should I go about it?
Thanks in advance.
For anyone stumbling around for an answer to a similar problem with deploying Django on a Windows server, here is a guide
Deploy Django with Apache and mod_wsgi on Windows Server 2019
To have Apache24 service automatically run on startup, make the changes in Windows Services dialog.

Ember build for production not building properly

I am building my ember app in production environment and deploying it on my local wamp server(apache server). But when I copy the file and open the app using url, the handlebar template application.hbs or index.hbs is not rendered.
I am building my project using
ember build --environment production --output-path dist/
But when I open the path 127.0.0.1/path-to-my-project
I get following error in console.
Uncaught Error: Could not find module `ember-data/-private\system\references\record` imported from `ember-data/-private/system/references`
vendor-192d3eef66f0205b64b4acf903f80f63.js:1
I am getting this error when building in production environment, building in development environment is working fine
I checked the documentation and sources available online, but couldn't find the cause for this error.
Please Help...
On Windows, it's mixing / and \s. See:
https://github.com/emberjs/data/pull/4205
If you're using the latest Ember, the solution is to upgrade to Ember-Cli 2.4.2 and use Ember Data 2.4.0.

Re-build files in Ember-CLI without running server

I am planning on moving from "EmberJS" to the Ember-cli, though I have a small problem. Is it possible only to run file watcher instead of serving/using ember serve that will run local server? As I am running my PHP backend on the Google App Script I have already a local python HTTP server running in localhost:8080 I do not need another one to run in localhost:4200
If I don't run ember serve my local changes in development environment wont get updated. Is there a better way of doing this? Is it possible to use assets in the app folder when running in development environment? and use dist folder for staging/live environments?
As mentioned in the guide, you can use the build command with the --watch flag.
ember build --watch
That will keep rebuilding your changes but not actually run the server.
As for your second question:
Is it possible to use assets in the app folder when running in development environment? and use dist folder for staging/live environments?
I don't believe so. You can change the output-path property in your .ember-cli config file, but you can't have one that's specific to a certain environment. You could always write a quick script to move the files though. :)

Jetty won't work: Is there a way to purge it?

I'm a Jetty newb, but it's making life hell. First there was an Eclipse problem I described in another question. Rather than waste time on it, I decided to just run Jetty from the console. I started off importing a sample Tapestry project and was able to run it fine... the project is on the Tapestry page and is called tutorial1
I began work on my own project then and began introducing new functionality to it. At some point it stopped working. I tried backtracking my project to get it to a working state but every time I requested the home page it would just hang. At this point I still thought it was my fault, though I did think a more graceful error message would have been nice than the it attempting to load for a minute followed by a server timeout error.
I then shutdown jetty and attempted to load up the imported sample project using mvn jetty:run in my tutorial1 project directory. it doesn't work either! When I try going to localhost:8080/tutorial1 or the URL of my project the jetty console does show any output, almost as if it's not receiving the request.
I rebooted my entire machine but that doesn't help. I am not familiar with jetty architecture and am unsure if there is a way I can purge all my files from the jetty web application directory.
Any ideas?
Cliffs Notes:
Downloaded Tapestry Archetype project with maven.
Executed jetty from the command line using mvn jetty:run
Started new project
Executed jetty from the command line using mvn jetty:run
Modified new project
Error occurred, attempted fix and restarted Jetty (Ctrl + C, followed by mvn jetty:run)
Jetty restarted, but did not seem to handle requests for any pages
Tried starting jetty from Archetype project, experienced the same problem
If your project didn't deploy correctly, jetty won't serve any pages (they will either return 404 or some error in the 500s).
Look at the log folder and check if it is getting correctly deployed.
