I am working on using Cloudify for vCloud. So far the information I gathered , this intgegration is possible as jCloud has interfaces for vCloud too. I am yet to explore the jCloud too. I am looking for if any effort has been put to integrate Cloudify with vCloud. Any pointers to documentation or earlier Qs/blogs which I couldn't find myself will be valuable.
Thanks
Raghavendra

Good day everyone, please I just started using flask for web development can anyone recommend books or courses that will aid my journey in becoming a proficient web developer with flask?
You can find several resources on the internet itself which includes:
walkthrough tutorials/lectures -- that are either free on platforms like youtube or paid-ones like that on udemy, udacity and others.
blog posts: Providing a detailed overview of the fundamentals and to complement the same, do a project for the same.
Flask Documentation itself: Since the best resource to consult would be the documentation itself.
Now, that it is clear that you're starting out. It is highly likely that a walk-through tutorial will be an ideal choice to start with. Among free ones, I'd personally recommend:
Cory Schafer on Youtube as a starting point. You're however free to choose any paid versions (that usually have a milestone project as well to make sure you have hands-on with what you're learning, but not cramming and cluttering your mind).
StarCluster is a well known toolkit for Amazon EC2. However, it was developed based on Python 2, which is going out if date. And it is not compatible with Python 3.x.
So I'd like to know is there any alternative to StarCluster? I have searched in stackoverflow but found no answers. Does anyone know?
I am looking forward to your advice! Thanks!
I'd recommend taking a look at cfncluster, which is a python tool for managing HPC clusters on AWS. It shares much of the functionality of StarCluster, and in particular uses SGE out of the box. It seems to be actively developed, at least at the time of writing, and has (experimental) support for Python 3.
I'm trying to improve the semantic web services' discovery to satisfy better the user. For that, I choose to use OWL-S. So I created an ontology using Protégé then I generated semantic web services using OWL-S editor within Eclipse (these services have been in part generated automatically since they are already developed in Java). What I can't do now is the execution of these services: I don't know how to proceed. I need your help please, I didn't find good documentation or tutorials about the life cycle of OWL-S services. Could you please help me and suggest me some useful tools, tutorials..?
PS: do you think that OWL-S is still used or do you suggest something else? What is the most common way to develop semantic web services nowadays?
Thank you!
OWl-S is a W3C consortium standard, therefore documentation is available regarding that. Check the below links

My friend asked me if it is possible to build a web site like Microsoft shared point for his planning startup company. He want to share doc with his employees. I think the reason he asked is Microsoft is too expensive. I have no idea right now for this. Anybody knows anything about this? thanks,
EDIT:
Because docs shared are sensitive (contains SSN and other sensitive data), security should be good enough.
If he just wants to share file he could try Box.net or dropbox. Box.net also have simple workflows with tasks.
I use Google Docs quite often and it is very useful. You can also setup a wiki and attach docs as needed.
Microsoft SharePoint Foundation is free and comes with a host of features.
Tell your friend to sign up for Microsoft BizSpark. This is a free program from Microsoft specifically for startups and will give them access to a whole suite of software for free for 3 years (with a $100 charge at the end). This includes SharePoint.
I would recommend a combination of Google Sites and Google Docs. It's free, it's easy, and it eliminates the need to maintain the hardware and other infrastructure associated with a site, much less something as heavy-weight as Sharepoint.
I need to create a flowchart to show Developer computers, Development server, Development DB,
QA Server, QA DB, Staging Server, Staging DB, Production Server and Production DB as part of creating a process so that developers follow the same during the development to staging to production development cycle.
Could you please direct me to the right URL or resource.
Thanks in advance
If you're looking for inspiration, figure A in this post looks similar to what you're trying to do, albeit simplified slightly: http://blog.sysbliss.com/uncategorized/release-management-with-atlassian-bamboo-and-jira.html
I have used Microsoft Visio in the past for my flowcharts and it meets the basic needs.
Most of the standard components - servers etc are all there and you can usually find and download free stencils from the net for more specific needs
A process flow like you are talking about should be easily manageable using the standard stecils itself.
There seem to be a lot of online sites that provide this kind of service free lately.
You can check out this link. I have not used any of these before so cannot vouch for them though i did try out flowchart.com and it seemed pretty ok
You are looking for a tool to make network diagrams.
These are some candidates I found looking for Network Diagram at Google:
SmartDraw, A friend recommended it to me some time ago
Gliffy looks promising
To make a flowchart from source code is so complicated, but I found an code to flowchart converter software, it can create flowchart from source code automatically, I got this software from http://flowchart-creator.com. It is free to download and free to try.
