CDI and JaxWS and EJB in liberty Profile 8.5.5.0 - web-services

I have a big problem with web services in Liberty Profile 8.5.5.0.
I made a simple EJB:
#Stateless
#LocalBean
#WebService
public class MyBean {
#WebMethod
public Long getTime() {
return System.currentTimeMillis();
}
}
This works well if there is no bean.xml in my webapp. If CDI is activated I have the following error:
[ERROR ] CNTR0020E: L'EJB a ?mis une exception inattendue (non d?clar?e) lors de l'appel de la m?thode "getTime" sur le bean "BeanId(testwlp#testwlp.war#MyBean, null)". Donn?es de l'exception :java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: object is not an instance of declaring class

Anybody could help me ?
Thanks a lot.

Why mockito crash when mocking the DAO?

I am currently writing a unit test. but mockito crashes when I tried to mock a DAO interface.
Below is the test code. It basically just trying to mock an interface.
class RepoTest {
#Test
fun testDelete() {
val dao = Mockito.mock(ExchangeRateItemMainPageDAO::class.java)
}
}
And the DAO interface code is as below:
#Dao
interface ExchangeRateItemMainPageDAO {
#Insert
fun insertExchangeRateItem(item: ExchangeRateItemMainPage)
#Delete
fun deleteExchangeRateItem(item:ExchangeRateItemMainPage)
}

Rest Assured: Using Request Spec Builder for SOAP request gives Connection timeout error

I have been using Rest Assured for webservices. I am a little new to use SOAP with it.
I created my request using Request Spec builder like this:
RestAssured.config().getSSLConfig().allowAllHostnames();
RequestSpecBuilder builder = new RequestSpecBuilder();
builder.setBody(getRequestBody());
builder.setContentType(getContentType());
builder.setRelaxedHTTPSValidation();
builder.addHeaders(getHeaders());
RequestSpecification specification = builder.build();
this.response =given().spec(specification).when().post(getEndPointUrl());
But when I run test using it, the Connection timed out error is thrown.
Strange thing is that it works correctly with Rest Request.
For Soap when I run my request using the below syntax: it works fine and I get the response.
this.response = given().request()
.headers(getHeaders())
.contentType(getContentType())
.body(getRequestBody())
.when()
.post(getEndPointUrl());
Can some one help me understanding why it doesnt work with Request Spec Builder and time out.
The Error that I get using Request Spec builder with Soap is pasted below:

REST-Assured library, as the name implicitly suggests, only support REST services, not SOAP.
If you want REST and SOAP services to be supported by single framework use Citrus Framework
I had run into the same problem and spent quite some time trying to figure out what's the catch.
Turns out, rest-assured automatically appends port 8080 when using RequestSpecBuilder (if not specified). Solved by explicitly specifying port.

Spring Data Neo4j - Unit Test - cleandb NullPointerException

I am building an application using spring-boot (1.1.8.RELEASE), spring-data-neo4j (3.2.0.RELEASE) in order to connect to a stand alone neo4j server via rest api. I am using spring-test in order to test the application.
I would like to clean the database before running the unit test. I created a method cleanDb to be executed before to start the transaction. But I face a NullPointerException when cleanDb method from AppTests is run.
FYI when I removed this method all the unit-test pass.
Thank you for your help
Find below my spring configuration
#Configuration
#ComponentScan
#EnableTransactionManagement
#EnableAutoConfiguration
public class AppConfig extends Neo4jConfiguration {
public AppConfig() {
setBasePackage("demo");
}
#Bean
public GraphDatabaseService graphDatabaseService(Environment environment) {
return new SpringRestGraphDatabase("http://localhost:7474/db/data");
}
}
Find below my test class
#SuppressWarnings("deprecation")
#RunWith(SpringJUnit4ClassRunner.class)
#SpringApplicationConfiguration(classes = AppConfig.class)
#Transactional
public class AppTests {
#Autowired
private Neo4jTemplate template;
#Rollback(false)
#BeforeTransaction
public void cleanDb() {
Neo4jHelper.cleanDb(template);
}
#Test
public void templateTest() {
Person person = new Person();
person.setName("Benoit");
person.setBorn(1986);
Person newPerson = template.save(person);
Person retrievedPerson = template.findOne(newPerson.getNodeId(),Person.class);
Assert.assertEquals("Benoit", retrievedPerson.getName());
}
}

The rest-graph database is just a fake wrapper.
It doesn't support the methods cleanDB uses.
You can clean your database by running a Cypher statement like this:
MATCH (n)
OPTIONAL MATCH (n)-[r]-()
DELETE n,r

PowerMock, Mockito and mocking final class from the reflection api

I'm trying to mock the java.lang.reflect.Method, here my code:
#RunWith(PowerMockRunner.class)
#PrepareForTest(Method.class)
public class AuditDataTest {
#Test
public void testStartAudit() {
Object[] args = new Object[1];
args[0] = "bla";
Method method = PowerMockito.mock(Method.class);
when(method.getAnnotation(Audit.class).value()).thenReturn("audit");
auditData.startAudit(method, args);
}
}
When i run the test, i get following error message:

Can someone explain me, what i'm doing wrong?
From the Powermock FAQ:
I cannot mock classes in from java.lang, java.net, java.io or other
system classes, why?
This is because they're loaded by Java's bootstrap classloader and cannot be
byte-code manipulated by PowerMock's classloader. Since
PowerMock 1.2.5 there's a work-around, please have a look at this
simple example to see how it's done.

I think the problem is in annotions but I can't resolve it. Here is the code:
applicationContext-ws.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:oxm="http://www.springframework.org/schema/oxm"
xmlns:sws="http://www.springframework.org/schema/web-services"
xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-2.5.xsd

MeteoService.java

}
MeteoServiceImpl.java

List<Meteo> previsions = new ArrayList<Meteo>();
Meteo meteoprevision=new Meteo();
meteoprevision.setVille(ville);
meteoprevision.setTemp("20°");
previsions.add(meteoprevision);
return previsions;
}
}
MeteoPrevisionEndpoint.java

private ObjectFactory objectFactory = new ObjectFactory();

public MeteoPrevisionEndpoint(MeteoService meteoService, Marshaller marshaller)
{
this.meteoService = meteoService;
this.marshaller = marshaller;
}
.....
}
If I use explicit definition of service "MeteoService" in applicationContext-ws.xml as follows:
<bean id="MeteoServiceImpl"
class="com.sample.service.Impl.MeteoServiceImpl"> </bean>
I have no problem , but I would like to use annotations :((
Can someone help me please?
I found the problem :D, the package name is "com.sample.service" and not "com.sample.services".
Thanks a lot JB Nizet :)
