Here is the issue.
I had a product say "Love Bird" which price is 10$. Now is option I have Cage having price 5$.
If a customer order 3 lover birds Price = 30$ but when he select cage as well. It should add 30+5 =35 but it works different in opencart. (10 + 5)*3=45 basically (10*3)+(5*3).
I don't know how to overcome this basis issue in opencart system.
This isn't going to be an easy one to do, as I think multiple files will need to be edited for this to happen.
As a start though - and the main bit of code to change, in the file system\library\cart.php you can replace this:
'price' => ($price + $option_price),
'total' => ($price + $option_price) * $quantity,
With this:
'price' => ($price + $option_price),
'total' => (($price * $quantity) + $option_price),
This WILL completely replace the existing option method though, and will give you fixed priced options throughout (once all other files edited as required).

I have a Google Sheet which is being populated by a Google Form. I am using Google Apps Script to add some extra functionality. Please feel free to access and modify these as needed in order to help.
Based on answers from the Form, I need to return a new date that factors in the time stamp at form submission.
This is a dumbed down example of what I need to do, but let's think of it like ordering a new car and its color determines how long it is going to take.

I need to write a conditional IF statement that determines how many weeks it will take to get the car based on the ordered color.

So if you order a Toyota in Red, it will take one week. If you order a Toyota in Green, it will take 5 weeks. If you order a Tesla, it will be really in one week no matter what color. Etc...
I started by writing some language in Sheets to take the Timestamp which is in Column A and add the appropriate amount of time to that:

Now I realized that the code needs to be written in Google Apps Script and returned as a value.
What kinds of modifications need to be made to my IFS statement in order to make it compatible with Google Apps Script?
For easier approach, QUERY would actually solve your issue without doing script as Broly mentioned in the comment. An approach you can try is to create a new sheet. Then have that sheet contain this formula on A1
Formula (A1):
=query('Form Responses 1'!A:C)
This will copy A:C range from the form responses, and then, copy/paste your formula for column Date Needed on column D.

Since you only copied A:C, it won't affect column D formula.
Your A:C in new sheet will update automatically, then the formula you inserted on D will recalculate once they are populated.
Add IFNA on your formula for column D to not show #N/A if A:C is still blank.

Working in Micorsoft Excel, I have a column (L3) that lists different countries, which refers to a variety of project locations, and from these projects, i want to write a piece of code that, in a new column, either categorises the projects location into Region "Sahel", Region "HoA" or leaves if blank if neither of the conditions are met.
For example:
I want countries Burkina Faso, Mali and Nigeria to be categoried as Sahel in a new column, I want just South Sudan to be categorised as Horn of Africa (HoA) and the projects listed in other countries to be returned as blank in this respective column.
What I have tried so far:

-> This works for the courties I want to categories as "Sahel," however, everything else, and not just South Sudan, is then categoried as HoA, which is not what I want - But I cannot add "" at the end as I then have too many arguments in my code.

-> But this didn't work out at all...

There is a standard product, with some attributes.
What I need to do is make this product configurable, as you may notice the two text inputs. The plan is to calculate the Lățime*Înălțime, multiply by price / sqm, verify against the actual product price (no problem this far) and then add or subtract a value to the product price, or add a option to the product for the current cart that would do the same.
Is there anyone with a idea of how this could be done without hacking to much of the sources?

The easiest way is to not let the user to input his concrete dimensions but to let him choose from prepared one.
If this is a wallpaper and You know the role of this wallpaper is always only 1m wide (just for simplicity) then for example sell only this 1m2 and let the user to enter the amount of pieces which will result in that long piece cut from the role (so 8 piecese (m2) ordered result in 8m long piece of role that is 1m wide). In this case You may change the word pieces or quantity for m2.
If this is a wall print with concrete dimensions (or aspect ratio), let the user choose from some predefined sizes, e.g.
XS (120 x 170 cm) + $0
S (150 x 212.5 cm) + $10
M (200 x 283 cm) + $20
L (250 x 354 cm) + $35
XL (300 x 425 cm) + $50
This may be handled by the product options which is again easier than what are You requesting... Don't You think?

Then there is only one possibility that comes to my mind:
hide the quantity field (don't remove, make it hidden)
create some JS onChange event handling function, that will listen to onChange, onBlur, onKeyUp (whetever) events on both text fields (for dimensions) and this will calculate the resulting area size in m2 which will be shown to the costumer as well as price per that m2 while price per 1m2 is also known and displayed to the customer
this function will also fill the calculated float value into the hidden quantity field so after adding to the cart the cart should contain smth like
4.73m2 WallPrint1 $18.92
(because I was calculating the price $4 for 1m2, thus 4m2 x 4.73 $/m2 = $18.92)
I'm not sure but maybe You will have to edit some other pieces of code to allow You to add float quantity values into cart annd also to order them...
I have searched for hours but could not find an answer to this, or a module to help.
We are building a store and our client needs the ability to navigate the store by manufacturer. Is there any way that the manufacturer page can list the categories and subcategories.
There seems two ways to do it.
Add brands while adding categories in admin section.
Get all categories inside the brands by join operation while viewing the manufacturer.
Are there any modules available to link up categories with manufacturers so that I can display categories inside the manufacturer page.
Or the only way is to query all the products inside the manufacturer and get the categories out of it... I guess it is not a good solution.
So any suggestions would be a great help.

I figured a way to find the categories that belongs to a manufacturer. The second options seems better.

I need to find the Facebook place for the city for many lat/long points. The actual points refer to personal addresses, so there are no exact place ID's to look for as in the case of a business.
For testing, I was looking for the town of Red Feather Lakes, CO.
The graph search function will return a lot of places, but does not return cities Example
Raw FQL does not let you search by lat/long, and has no concept of "nearby" anyway. Example
An FQL query by ID reveals that there is an least a "Display Subtext" field which indicates that object is a city. Example

Cities are not in the place table, they are only in the page table.
There is an undocumented distance() FQL function, but it only works in the place table. (Via this SO answer.)
This works:

It's a glorious hack, but this code works. The trick is to make two queries. First we look for places near our point. This returns a lot of business places. We then take the city of one of these places, and use this to look in the page table for that city's page. There seems to be a standard naming conventions for cities, but different for US and non-US cities.
Some small cities have various spellings in the place table, so the code loops through the returned places until it finds a match in the page table.

I found this solution worked for me when looking for a page for the closest city to the specified latitude/longitude. For some reason LIMIT 1 didn't return the closest city so I bumped up the limit and then took the first result.
