WAMP Can't have a folder named 'icons' - wamp

I'm having some problem with wamp.
I can't seem to have an folder called icons. This is where I keep all my icons used on the site. The problem is all my icons are not showing up. If I rename it to something else it works. But I can't seem to have a folder called icons for some reason. I've tried deleting it and made a new folder called icons but it just wont let me.
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /icons/ on this server.
Why do I get this permission access error?
I am using Windows 7.

That second link I posted explains the problem: https://serverfault.com/questions/431832/why-am-i-getting-network-error-403-forbidden-in-firebug-for-files-i-am-not-tryi
Looks like you can disable Options Indexes or edit the alias in \bin\apache\apache2.2.22\conf\extra\httpd-autoindex.conf as shown in the second answer.

Font Awesome blank squares in OpenCart

I'm migrating my website to another hosting, but I have problem with the font.
When you open site for the first time font is not working, it's just showing blank squares, after you go into any subpage it starts to works. Do you have any idea what might be causing it?
its depends on where you added font awesome in opencart.
Mostly it should be in
catalog/view/theme/default/template/common/header.tpl
And if you added with some custom condition then check it.
because in opencart only Except then home page, other inner pages open with Query parameter.
ex. index.php?route=common/home
So, for inner pages check source code and look at the CSS path is proper or not.
Just to add (I cannot comment), if you're not using the default theme, you'd want to navigate to catalog/view/theme/(your theme name)/template/common/header.tpl
If you're using the Journal theme, you'll want to check the template/journal2/headers folder.
Try these and tell us if any of them makes a difference:
Edit your config.php and check that the HTTP_SERVER and HTTPS_SERVER variables are correct.
Make sure that the link to Font Awesome is correct, this also means making sure that if your site mainly uses www.domain.com and not domain.com that your link to Font Awesome has www. in as well. Same goes for http:// vs https:// and vice versa.
Check the casing of the font filename. Font-Awesome.min.css is not the same as font-awesome.min.css and your new server may care about that.

How to hide the template name?

this is my local site: drupaltest1/
When I/anyother developer inspect my site they can recognize which theme I am using. I want to hide the theme being displayed on inspect elements an display the site name in the path. I searched google, but no luck. Anyone please help in achieving this.
Thanks in advance
You could change the name of the theme to your sitename.
in sites/all/themes/ copy your theme folder and rename the folder
then replace the theme name in .info file and use find/replace in template.php and any other theme specific files as well. (notepad++ search in files works well)
upload and enable the new theme in Drupal
If you are not using a custom theme for your site, be sure to check the licensing/copyright to ensure renaming it isn't a violation - and updates may have issues so you could remove the project info and/or packing script info.
If you can create a sub-theme, then you would be able to hide those info(s) from being inspected your site pages.
Please reply if this helped you.

phpbb template edits will not show up

I am working on a phpbb design. I have a local install with a duplicated database of the original site. I have no access to the administration panel since I am not an admin on the original site.
Changes made to the CSS would not show on the page, so I edited the file /style.php and forced recompiling CSS by setting $recompile to true. That solved the issue.
However, I am now trying to make changes to the HTML, because the phpbb semantics is one of the worst I have ever seen, and most elements don't have classnames.
When making changes to template files (let's say to the "prosilver" default theme), those changes won't show on the page. For example if I add classnames to certain elements, those classnames will not appear on the page.
I know that the problem comes from phpbb caching templates, and I tried forcing recaching by setting $recache to true in /style.php, but that didn't work.
Thanks for any help !
Kind regards.
If you have access to the server via ftp or your hosts control panel, go into the /cache directory and delete everything EXCEPT .htaccess and index.htm. This will have the same effect as clearing the cache via the ACP and will force the templates to recompile.

Custom viewpager tabs with custom view, multiple fragment and layouts

I want to make a viewpager which is just like latest facebook application.
and the problem is with tabs.
however i tried to make it, but i need icons with text in tabs and multiple fragments and layouts associated with it.
two issue occurred when i tried to develop.
1. I compromised with my UI, and tried putting static icons in it, but they don't change on selection and they don't even have badge like in facebook application.
2. when i put that code in my application which i have developed in demo app, it shows error and after researching i found that my application don't have an actionbar. so it was giving error after calling getActionBar.
please someone can provide any example or link to that which can help me.

Is there a standard directory browser dialogue in MFC that doesn't involve the user creating directories to specify ones that don't yet exist?

I am working on the bootstrap application of an installer, and I have a dialogue that the user can open to select a different target directory from the given default. Currently, I'm using the CFolderDialog for that, but for the user to select a folder that doesn't yet exist, he has to create the folder first. Once the user has specified the directory, I want to be able to delete it so that, when I launch the installer, it can create the folder itself such that it gets flagged for uninstall. Also, if the user cancels out of my bootstrap application at any time, I don't want any unwanted folders lying around from when the user mucked around in the folder browser. The problem that I'm having is that, if I try to remove the folder that the user created while browsing for a new target folder, I get a sharing violation error. (I compare the directory's creation time with what the system time was at the time the dialogue was launched to make sure that it's OK for me to delete the directory.)
What I need is either a way to get around that sharing violation or another standard dialogue that doesn't involve the user having to create a new directory in order to specify it just because it doesn't yet exist.
Edit: When I originally posted this, I forgot that the folder dialogue that I'm using is actually the XFolder Dialog on the Code Project site. While it does let the user browse for a directory, it's not as intuitive as folder browser dialogues that I've seen in installers in the past. What I'd really want is something where the user can browse to the folder in which their new folder is to go and then simply append the new folder to the path in the dialogue's edit box without having to create the new folder.
Update As the XFolder dialogue is a customization of the standard Open File dialogue which uses a template, it does not work on Vista or newer OSs. Because of this, I must abandon use of this for something else. I'm still looking for a solution here. If someone can show me how to set the initial directory (as opposed to the root directory) when using SHBrowseForFolder(), I'd be willing to use that as my solution.
For your purpose, it would probably make sense to let the user select a base directory, e.g. "C:\Program Files" (creating one in the process if so desired) and install into a subdirectory of that (a name which you append to the selected path and let your installer create). Display the combined path after the user has selected the base. This way, the user doesn't feel like he has taken on responsibility for the directory you're creating, but still has a reasonable level of control over the destination.
I have never seen such a dialog window, neither in MFC nor in any other technology. I agree with Shog9, you should provide the user with a way to separate the selection of a base directory and the creation of directories.
You can use SHBrowseForFolder without specifying neither BIF_BROWSEINCLUDEFILES or BIF_NONEWFOLDERBUTTON.
