Unique constraint voilated error in informatica - informatica

I am using sorter transformation to select distinct and sorted input.
My mapping: source-source qualifier-expression-sorter-target.
I got unique constraint violated error. The Error code is 22050. I tried by setting stop on errors to 0. But, It reflects on result. I have 654 rows in my source table. but, after setting above property, it returns 448 rows. I know, this property is used to reject invalid rows. Is this property removing only duplicates or anything else? it is invalid rows. what are the invalid rows?

How to check if a CRecordset field has already been fetched?

I'm using a CDatabase*/CRecordset* duo to read a HFSQL (windev) database through an ODBC DSN.
There are many issues with HFSQL's handling of binary blobs, especially when they're empty.
One such problem causes my app to fire warnings and exceptions on loop as I read a table. I use a custom class that manages the recordset and fetches every field once, in ascending ordinal order, and stores the resulting CDBVariant vars in a vector for my own later uses. The error I get alternates between Warning: ODBC Success With Info on field 8. when the field has content and Error: GetFieldValue operation failed on field 8. Data already fetched for this field. when it has none. Clearly, I have not fetched the field before, so either the wrong error message is displayed or the CRecordset believes it is correct and I should be able to detect it beforehand.
How could I go about detecting whether my CRecordset considers a field to have already been fetched? GetODBCFieldInfo does not give me any useful information, have I missed something?

Informatica Foreign Key column population

I have two tables, SRC and TGT. I want to populate all my foreign key values in TGT from the target lookups. However, I'm getting nulls into the target. I have used all natural keys for lookup conditions. Can anyone please explain why I am seeing nulls?
For instance, I want to populate foreign key values for MPNG_ID, SESN-ID, WRKFLW-ID from lookup tables based on repository name and version number.
Did you validate if all your Join Conditions are working fine? Probably try to replicate same query in DB and check if its giving you the same result. I assume some Join might have messed up which might result in Null values. Ensure that even the spaces are in sync if you are using Varchar value.

PostgreSQL sequence being reset?

On a regular occasion, my Django webapps produce SQL errors on M2M tables.
Each time it turns out the ID sequence is reset to a value within the range of existing rows.
The app performs normal SQL queries such as:
INSERT INTO "myapp_project" ("name") VALUES ('test1') RETURNING "myapp_project"."id"'
which cause errors such as:
IntegrityError: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "myapp_project_pkey"
DETAIL: Key (id)=(29) already exists.
Then it turns out that the myapp_project_id_seq is pointing to an old ID number:
select currval('myapp_project_id_seq')
29
Which can then be reset by using:
select setval('myapp_project_id_seq', (select max(id) from myapp_project))
However, I can't explain why this is happening. It typically happens on M2M tables in Django. In this case, a normal table with admin-only input. Can someone enlighten me about this?
This typically happens when you (or somebody) sometimes write values to id explicitly, instead of getting values from the sequence (by default or with nextval()).
Your repair code is missing a pair of parentheses.
SELECT setval('myapp_project_id_seq', (SELECT max(id) FROM myapp_project));
This is a tiny bit shorter & cheaper while doing the same, exactly:
SELECT setval('myapp_project_id_seq', max(id)) FROM myapp_project;

Siebel Operation Error for Inserting Field based on picklist

I am facing an issue where I am getting the below error while inserting a record in the table via Siebel Operation step.
Here the error is showing for field which is based on a picklist. Could anyone please suggest why i am getting this error:
SBL-DAT-00225: The value entered in field District of buscomp Contact_Address_LT does not match any value in the bounded pick list PickList Comm Resolution.
SBL-BPR-00100: This error is returned when the workflow/task is executing the Siebel Operation business service.
I am aware that this happens when the value is not defined in the picklist. But i have verified this, and LOV is having the value which I am trying to get insert.
This error is quite common. And could happen for a couple of reason.
As you have mentioned, that you have already checked the value which is getting inserted is already there in the LOV defined for the picklist.
I have recently faced this error, and spent hours to debug it. Try below to sort your problem.
Check for the below points:
1) Check for the pick map for this field, check if any contraint field is also present in it.
2) If yes, then check those constraint field is also getting inserted in same Siebel Operation step. Siebel does not follow sequence in the input argument. So if this is the case do step 3 to resolve your issue.
3) Split the insert statement into 2 parts, 1 where you insert the record with the values which is present in the pick map constraint and then update the same record. This will ensure that all the required field are populated.
Solution from 8.1.1.4 is to add parameter into OM's config file, e.g fins.cfg:
[Task]
ProcessArgAsc = true

JPA generating an invalid column

Helo there.
I am attempting to a execute a many-to-many get all query. To be clear, I am attepmting to get a collection within a collection to be pulled back. Ie, we will get a result set, but in that result set, there will be a collection of all objects linked to it via a foreign key. Now, to do this, I have a collection which I annotate thusly...
#ManyToMany
#JoinTable(name="QUICK_LAUNCH_DISTLIST",
joinColumns=#JoinColumn(name="QUICK_LAUNCH_ID"),
inverseJoinColumns=#JoinColumn(name="LIST_ID"))
private Collection<QuickLaunchDistlist> distributionLists;
Which seems to be just about text book...
I call a named query which looks like this...
#NamedQuery(name="getQuickLaunch", query = "SELECT q FROM QuickLaunch q")
Which is executed like so...
qlList = emf.createNamedQuery("getQuickLaunch").getResultList();
Every time I make this call, I get back the expected data in the first collection. But none of the collections seem to populate with it. To find out why, I looked at the sql being generated by the call... This is what I find...
I get this exception...
This is a FFDC log generated for the Default Resource Adapter from source:com.ibm.ws.rsadapter.jdbc.WSJdbcPreparedStatement.executeQuery
The exception caught:java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00904: "T1"."QL_DISTLIST_ID": invalid identifier
SQL Error Code is 904 SQL State is :42000
Along with this query...
SELECT t1.QL_DISTLIST_ID, t2.LIST_ID, t2.CREATE_DATE, t2.CREATE_USERID, t2.description, t2.flag, t2.MOD_DATE, t2.MOD_USERID, t2.ORGANIZATION_ID, t2.owner, t2.STATUS_ID, t1.MESSAGE_TYPE_ID, t1.MOD_DATE, t1.MOD_USERID, t1.QUICK_LAUNCH_ID FROM EPCD13.QUICK_LAUNCH_DISTLIST t0, EPCD13.QUICK_LAUNCH_DISTLIST t1, EPCD13.DISTRIBUTION_LIST t2 WHERE t0.QUICK_LAUNCH_ID = ? AND t0.LIST_ID = t1.QL_DISTLIST_ID AND t1.LIST_ID = t2.LIST_ID(+)
If you look at the first column it request's to pull back you will notice that it selects t1.QL_DISTLIST_ID... Problem is, I have no such named column any where in my db!?!?!? Why on earth is that column being called? How does JPA generate the queries that it calls? If I knew that, I might be a little closer to figuring out what went wrong here or what I did wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
