C++ Image Flow/Slider - c++

I have a software which displays small image thumbnails at the bottom of the screen:
But these sample 5 are just a small portion of all the available ones. I am looking for ideas of libraries or just available open source code that would let me animate them as they switch to the previous/next ones in the list when the arrow button is pressed or the user flicks them left/right like on an ipod.
I am NOT using Qt (as another answer suggests using it).

I am building a leaderboard screen in the flutter application, whenever the user comes to the leaderboard screen, I want to show the animation of his old position to a new position in the leaderboard, so I need an animation of this row to go up or down based on his standings, please someone help me which widget to use to get this functionality working. AnimatedList is the widget you are looking for. It automatically generates entrance and exit animation when items are added/deleted. Combined that with SizeTransition, and you will get a nice "growing/shrinking" effect.
There are some really good examples (and even a video tutorial) on the official docs as well.
You can also look at this answer for a more complex example of using 2 of them.

Colorizing the titlebar in macOS with multiple colors

I have a Qt app that runs on macOS. I found a way to change the color of the titlebar here, however I want to take it a step further. I want to mimic the titlebar that the Slack and Discord apps use. For example:
As you can see, the color of the controls in the window extend to the very top of the app's window. I figure there are two ways to accomplish what I want:
I can build on the code pasted above. Looking through some of the Apple developer documentation, I think I can create a couple NsWindows on top of the titlebar with whatever width I want and attach the titlebar as a parent for those windows. Once I do that I should be able to make the same backgroundColor() color call for each one. Of course, this will require me to keep track of when the controls or window are resized and adjust the NsWindows of the titlebar, and I am not sure what (if any) issues that could cause.
Maybe there is a way to essentially set the height of the titlebar to 0? I wonder if that's what the Discord app is doing because:
if you look closely, the edit box that says "Find or start a conversation" is vertically lined with the close, minimize and maximize buttons, as is the "Activity" label. But if the controls do extend to the top of the app's window then how are the standard app buttons getting painted?
I'd be curious to know how Slack and Discord accomplish this even though I know they're not using Qt.
I realize there is not a Qt solution since Qt does not paint the titlebar. I know this will be OS-specific, but since I do not have any real experience with Objective-C++ or working with Cocoa (all of my programming experience on macOS has been standard C++ with non-UI or Qt-based code) I'd appreciate any suggestions or guidance!
Natively this is done with fullSizeContentView and titlebarAppearsTransparent properties of NSWindow. Once you set them to true, you can draw or place controls beneath the title bar.

QT - Select section of image

I'm using QLabel and QPixmap to show image in my program. I would like to use something like snipping tool in Windows to let user to select part of image that will be processed further.
For example, I load image, user select part of it (rectangle), and it shows it is selected and I can read coordinates that are selected, so I can proceed with processing only part of image.
I don't think this is possible with Qt without a fair amount of coding.
Maybe a third-party Qt widget, such as https://github.com/dimkanovikov/ImageCropper, is what you're looking for?

wxWidgets Overlay Text (C++)

I am trying to place some overlay text over a wxPanel.
I have several panels with completely different Content but I want to place this overlay text over all of these panels in the top right Corner of the panel.
I am restricted to wxWidgets 2.8.12..
Do you see any way to achieve this behaviour?

Here a bit more detailed Version of what I am trying to do:
I have a Layout that consists of e.g. 5 containers and each container can contain a module. A module can be either wxPanels that contain Plain text or Input controls or for example a OpenGL canvas or an Image or something else.
Because I have much content and it does not fit on a single page I want to make the modules inside a Container exchangeable. It would be also nice if the user is able to perform this action only by using its keyboard. E.g. if he presses the key "3" the content of the third container has to be switched.
To handle these shortcuts isn't a problem. However I need to signalize to the user the identifier / hotkey of the containers.
I could do this by placing a additional headline above each container, but I want to waste as little space as possible on the gui.
I also could draw directly to the modules content, but I would have to do this for every module and every module is designed in a different way (images, multi column, opengl, ...) and maybe even by different persons.
So I am looking for a simple solution to indicate the number of these containers that does not consume that much space.

You can use a wxWindowDC to draw anywhere on the window, even on child windows. However anything you draw will be painted over whenever the windows or controls repaint themselves. You can draw your overlay in an UpdateUI event handler to minimize this. I have used this approach with success on Windows with wxWidgets 2.8.12. Not sure if it works with OpenGL though.

creating squares and rectangles in wxwidgets

I'm working on an application, and part of it is making the user create a shapes such as squares or rectangles. I'm wondering if there is a function in wxwidgets that enable the user to do that. What i want to do is the user will click this button then he/she can draw a square or rectangle in his/her desired size. It is like in paint where you can make your own size in your desired size. Is that possible in wxwidgets and codeblocks? maybe some related links or tutorials or anything that will help. thanks !!

Titles sais context here is "drawing", ok.
But in case you are talking about user-created rectangles as means of selecting stuff (or users end up here while searching for that context), jargon for that is rectangles as selection is "marquee selection", and you would look into Wx::Overlay to accomplish that.
