ListView scrolling issue in Blackberry 10 SDK beta 2 - c++

I need to add new items in my ListView and scroll it automatically. I created an application and it worked well for SDK Beta 1, but it doesn't work properly for Beta 2.
For example, I have 20 items in ListView and the first 5 of them are visible on the screen. If I call from my C++ method something like:
listView->scrollTo(ScrollPosition::End)
I can see only the last item on the top of ListView. I can scroll it down manually and it will work well, but I can't do the same from code.

The API documentation is not explicit, but does imply the behaviour you are seeing. You may want to use an alternate method: scrollToItem()

iOS Custom Tab Bar

I am looking to implement a custom Tab Bar in iOS where selected item is bigger size than the rest of the tabs and peeks out over the content similar to this screenshot.
Could someone point to a tutorial of how to accomplish this preferably in Swift?
I faced with this task several times. I found a lot of tutorials but I've never found one that gives the ability to create a center button that part of it is out of the tab bar.
At the end, I created an approach to have it done correctly. I implemented a simple example project with instructions how to do that. Please check my Custom Tabbar Center Button repo as an example.
One more benefit of it it's center button hides correctly with the tab bar when you use Hide Button Bar on Push property.
A UITabBar contains an array of UITabBarItems, which inherit from
UIBarItem. But unlike UIBarButtonItem that also inherits from
UIBarItem, there is no API to create a UITabBarItem with a customView.
So instead of trying to create a custom UITabBarItem, we’ll just
create a regular one and then put the custom UIButton on top of the
UITabBar
Not swift, but should be easily translated.

Ionic2 navigate like in slides

Is there a way in Ionic 2 to be able to transition between pages as if we were in a Slides component? Meaning that as soon as I start swiping a little left or right I start seeing a piece of the next or previous page? If I continue swiping then I transition to the next/previous page, else I go back to seeing only my current page.
It's like having a dynamic slides component, where ion-slide are automatically added. A little bit like the way the infinite scroll works, we could have 2 to 3 ion-slide in the DOM and they'd be reused as we move forward/backward.
This feature will be available in beta 7 (we are in beta 6) for tabs in material design. The option to swipe back in the pages stack is already available but you must be running on a device to see it in action. Using custom pushpins in my Windows 8.1 XAML app using Bing Maps SDK

In my C++/XAML Windows 8.1 app, I want to use a pushpin to denote a location that the user has selected. The default pushpin is very limited and it doesn't even show all the text I add to the "Text" field of the pushpin.
I really want to show something similar to the default pushpin and under that a textblock with some text.
So I think I have to create a user control and use it as a custom pushpin. However, when I do this the "custom pushpin" doesn't appear on the map at the same location that the user selected. It feels like in order to get it at the same location, I need to get the margins of the user control right through hit and trial. What is the correct way to achieve what I am trying to do?
After playing around a little more, I was able to specify the correct position of the custom pushpin using the following API:
Bing::Maps::MapLayer::SetPositionAnchor(Windows::UI::Xaml::DependencyObject^, Windows::Foundation::Point)
See the API reference here.

foundation 4 joyride - disable the beginning scroll?

I am having trouble stopping the first scrolling once the page loads. You can see it here http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/components/joyride.html . After loading the website, joyride window scrolls automatically page littlebit lower
See it better in the old demo http://zurb.com/playground/jquery-joyride-feature-tour-plugin
I need the website to load normally (with top bar) and then activate scrolling after "next" button is clicked.
I am using latest version of Foundation 4 and foundation.min
Currently I am trying the docs page and it does not scroll, so either they fixed it or it was not a problem at all initially.

Either ways, I see the best solution for you is to have the first step way above in the page, so that even when it takes focus, there's no page scrolling needed.

Does MFC have a built in grid control?

First what I want: The ability to display a grid with multiple columns, each cell having a custom render callback. So you might use such a control to display your inventory in a game, or something like the behaviour in Google Chrome where it shows a grid of popular pages you visit.
I've been playing with CListCtrl and while I can get custom rendering ability on each item, I can't get it work with columns - having say 3 items per row. The control has column-related methods but I think these are specifically for the built-in functionality where different attributes of an item are shown automatically in each column... not for providing a generic grid control.
So, does such functionality exist in MFC? If not then I wonder if the easiest approach is for me to actually insert each of the rows as an Item... and then the custom rendering draws the multiple cells in the row, I could also do custom UI to support clicking on the cells.
But what I really want is to be able to create a custom control, and add this as an item to a list - like in Flex for instance - so I/O etc is automatically handled.
Any advice/information welcome...
Dundas has thrown some of its (excellent) components in the public domain. Their Ultimate Grid is available on CodeProject.
I'm not aware of a built-in control, but I think you should take a look at this.
The article is describing in detail the functionality of a fully featured MFC grid control, derived from CWnd, for displaying tabular data.
YOUR_LIST_CONTROL.SetExtendedStyle(LVS_EX_FULLROWSELECT|LVS_EX_INFOTIP|LVS_EX_GRIDLINES);
I think it will help you (SetExtendedStyle).
I suggest this one:
