The official Redmine documentation teaches how to migrate the full Mantis database, including all users, projects and issues. Is there a way to do it on a per-project basis?
Here is a free program for migrating tasks from mantis to redmine. You can filter mantis issues by project and export it into XML. Download zip archive from here. Unzip it in any folder and run mantis_redmine.exe. Next follow user guide http://ramilnotes.blogspot.ru/2016/09/importissuesfrommantistoredmine.html. This program uses XML export from mantis to import issues to redmine. I've approved it on redmine 3.3.0.
I couldn't find anything on the subject in the open-source community.
There is a commercial tool, however. It's called Task Adapter. We have successfully used it to import a certain project from Mantis into Redmine.

I've been following the google cloud documentation titled, "Running Django on the App Engine standard environment" . I'm using the same app provided in the documentation in the "Cloning the Django App". Honestly, I get lost in the google cloud documentation under the "Configuring Database Settings" section. This what my settings.py (mysite/settings.py in the given app mentioned previously)
Mysite/settings.py img
Whenever running python manage.py makemigrations - I get the following error message on the CLI...
django.core.exceptions.ImproperlyConfigured: Set the SECRET_KEY environment variable
Also, I have noticed there is no .env file in that repo. Would I maybe have to create it myself or would is it fine? Again I am using the github given app via the documentation.
Just trying to deploy Django website to google cloud. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im on Mac Big Sur btw if that matters.
I tried to deploy the application using this documentation and got the same error you mentioned about. Then I observed that there is some issue with the github files mentioned in the documentation for which an open github issue is there. The reason for the issue is that the current code in the github repository matches a new tutorial version and we hope to get the new tutorial version updated soon to match the current code in the github repository.
For now using a specific previous version of ‘mysite/settings.py’ file in place of the current ‘mysite/settings.py’ file and adding ‘PyMySQL==1.0.2’ in requirements.txt file will work. The required previous version of the ‘mysite/settings.py’ can be found in this link. Follow the documentation for all remaining steps.
Angular has https://update.angular.io/ that guides with the proper way to update (along with dependencies et al.). Likewise, is there a way to know how to update an Ember app properly?
Obviously, changing the version of the ember package in bower.json and doing an bower install && npm install doesn't seem to be the ideal way.
Detailed update information are included in release notes provided for ember-cli on GitHub: https://github.com/ember-cli/ember-cli/releases/
For projects that aren't using a very old version, the workflow is mostly this one:
Update globally installed ember-cli to latest stable release
Update globally installed ember-cli-update to latest stable release
Clean up your project by deleting tmp, dist and node_modules folders.
Run ember-cli-update to update project to match current blueprint.
Run ember-cli-update --run-codemods to update project to match current best practices.
Before ember-cli-update has become the official tool for updating projects, running ember init again after updating projects ember-cli dependency manually was the officially recommended workflow. ember-cli#3.2.0 was the last release for which this workflow was recommended. But ember-cli-update should support all versions for which a tag exists in ember-new-output repo, which should be true for all stable releases of ember-cli.
You could of course update your dependencies individually and not follow the recommended configuration provided by ember-cli. But be aware that uncommon combination may not work as stable as you are used to.
If your app still uses Ember App Kit, which has been deprecated in 2014, you could find a migration guide in their readme. But you should consider carefully if rewriting wouldn't be quicker than updating such an outdated app.
You can find a complete step-by-step guide for upgrading an ember here,

I have built the source code (4.5.3). I have built it in the order orbit and all its patch releases and kernel and all its patch releases and platform and built directly greg 4.5.3 version and my built was successful. But, how can I configure that in developer studio IDE ?
I am trying to import as Existing WSO2 Projects into workspace and I started importing orbit first and then kernel, so after importing kernel I have many build path errors like 'Project 'kernel_4.0.5' is missing required library: 'core/feature-manager/org.wso2.carbon.feature.mgt.core/4.0.0/target/org.wso2.carbon.feature.mgt.core-4.0.0.jar' and like wise many of them. And When I try to import platform I am getting - resource'/${artifactId}' already exits. So, how to configure WSO2 Governance Registry(4.5.3) into IDE ?? Please help !
Take a look here at this similar question - in particular read the comments.
I don't think WSO2 developers import the whole source tree into eclipse, instead they only import the maven modules that they need to work on. Also, don't import the modules into eclipse using the maven eclipse plugin. Instead, run mvn eclipse:eclipse on the module and then import the module as a general project. Don't import as a maven project.
I like using the python editor pydev in Eclipse. I want to team up with some people who've a python project (actually a Django site) stored in a mercurial repo. Can one create a new Django project in pydev that grabs code from a Mercurial repo? If so, how?
Thanks
Arthur
Doing a google search on does eclipse support mercurial gives you:
MercurialEclipse - an Eclipse plugin for Mercurial support, and I would suggest to start from here. This should work regardless of what sort of project you're working on.
A discussion on whether it is better to use git or Mercurial with Eclipse, which can help you out.
Additionally, if you didn't want to install the MercurialEclipse plugin, you could use Mercurial independently of Eclipse, clone the repository and then start a project with those files. In this case I would just make sure that your project meta files are in Mercurial's ignore list so they wouldn't get pushed to the remote repository.
If there's anything you'd like me to elaborate on, please comment. Good luck.
I'm trying to get Mylyn and Redmine work together so I can manage tasks right inside Eclipse. I saw this on redmine wiki http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/HowTo_Mylyn but I think it's for the old version of Mylyn.
I can't find the Generic Web Connector plugin for Mylyn but there's this Web templates plugin. I think that one replaced the Generic Web Connector. But it's quite different from the screenshots posted at the Redmine wiki. There's no Task URL, New Task URL, etc.
Here is what you are looking for:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/redmin-mylyncon/
A Mylyn connector specially for RedMine. It works fine with eclipse ganymede.
The update site is: http://redmin-mylyncon.sourceforge.net/update-site/N/
Here are the steps to perform integration between Eclipse Mylyn and Redmine.
I assume that Eclipse, Mylyn and Redmine are already installed, the latter somewhere in $REDMINE_HOME. Tested with Eclipse 3.7 and Redmine 1.2.1.
Summarily, you need to install an Eclipse plugin AND a Redmine plugin.
Go to $REDMINE_HOME/vendor/plugins and run
git clone git://redmin-mylyncon.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/redmin-mylyncon/redmine-mylyn-connector
(Re)start the server, and in Redmine under Administration/Plugins the Mylyn Connector Plugin should be listed
Again in Redmine, under Administration/Settings/Authentication, check the "Enable REST web service" field
In Eclipse, install the Eclipse connector via its update site
http://redmin-mylyncon.sourceforge.net/update-site/N/
Create your repository and check that it connects, then you are good to go!
See this manual.

As of july 2012 now there is a new dedicated Redmine-Mylyn-Connector under active development for Redmine 2.x! (Got to admit, I haven't tested it yet.)
I am in the process of testing the 1.x connector that can be found on sourceforge, I will edit this post once I am done.
EDIT:
The update-site for the mylyn-plugin from the link in the accepted posting works.
As well as the mylyn-connector for the redmine installation. (Tested with 1.3.2 installation, don't forget to restart the web server after installing it. ;))
But both things aren't working out... once the mylyn-connector is installed, the web-interface is not working anymore. ;(
EDIT2:
The special connector works with 2.x and Mylyn finally looks proper.
http://danmunn.github.com/redmine_mylyn_connector/ the redmine server plugin.
http://kenjiru.ro/blog/2012/02/install-the-redmine-mylyn-connector-for-eclipse another server plugin link and the eclipse connector plugin
Will look like this.
As of yesterday, Sven has taken down the update site (if you go there, you'll find nothing) since someone reported him to Sourceforge (see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3441532&group_id=228995&atid=1075435).
So, there are NO binaries available now for Eclipse. Does anyone know of alternative ways to get these plugins? I have no clue how to compile.
The GIT and SVN repositories are there, but again as I sad, I'm not a java programmer. Can anyone offer Sven a site where he can store the binaries as an Update?
