I am using Django 1.3 and have the following issue:
In the Admin list page, if you have enough objects to result in pagination (more than 100 if you haven't changed ModelAdmin.list_per_page) there is an issue with the actions links, and none of them seem to work.
These links are meant to show how many items you have selected, allow you to select all (through all pages) or clear selection. I am currently getting very weird behaviour and would appreciate any help.
This has been resolved thanks to the suggestions provided above. It was indeed a CSS issue.

When creating a workflow using Sharepoint Designer (linked to a form library) none of my fields from my form show up when I use actions like "set field in current item" or "update list item". The only two fields that show are
"Title"
"Name (for use in forms)"
I have already tried to upload the form as a site content type but was still not able to get the items on my form (using the solution posted here https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/lync/en-US/37db5742-79ba-49cb-bda5-69172786a339/spd-field-lookup-problem-set-field-in-current-item?forum=sharepointcustomizationlegacy)
please help me ,this problem is hurting my brain :'(
actually doing the thing mentioned here fixed my problem
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/lync/en-US/37db5742-79ba-49cb-bda5-69172786a339/spd-field-lookup-problem-set-field-in-current-item?forum=sharepointcustomizationlegacy
at first it seemed like it was not working but I just had to refresh the page -very intelligent mistake :'(
Anyways I'm happy that the problem was solved
This is something which is related to the Refresh a page. Or What you can do is close the site in the Sharepoint designer and then re connect the site. Sometimes refreshing the page does not seem to work.
I may not be understanding something obvious, but I'm struggling to add a (top-level) menu item to my Wagtail based menu that hooks to a page rendered by an included app that doesn't know about Wagtail. Ideally, it is just a normal Django TemplateView with standard urlconf, though I may need to add some custom code.
If I use the custom URL in the menu editor, I get a not found from Wagtails core.serve. I've looked at snippets, wagtail hooks, RoutablePageMixin, and the custom URL in the menu editor and none seem like it accomplishes what I'm trying to do.
It may well be that I'm simply misunderstanding the docs, but is there a simple example of someone doing this? The closest I've found so far is https://www.caktusgroup.com/blog/2016/02/15/wagtail-2-steps-adding-pages-outside-cms/. I've also searched https://docs.wagtail.io/en/v2.4/advanced_topics/third_party_tutorials.html to now avail. Any guidance appreciated.
Thx,
--Don
Hope this is useful, but it seems that my problem was not the mixing of Wagtail and non-Wagtail items - it was in my URLConf - Wagtail.core.serve occurred before the Django url I was trying to reach and was trying to respond. Once I reordered the URLConf appropriately, I am getting the view as I wanted.
Sigh...
I am beginner to joomla, currently using version 2.5. I have came across a problem with pagination. In my site pagination on all the pages were working well, but suddenly, I don't see any pagination for any page. I don't realized, what setting from admin panel I have changed. I have checked the settings from the Article Manger->options->Shared Options, but all are ok.
Is there any other settings in admin panel to show pagination?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
You must seach this in Article Manger->options->"First Tab"
But it can be also placed in the main menu item: Menu->MainMenu->"First item" general settings...
I have realize the problem, when I put <jdoc:include type="module" name="cblogin" /> in my template file, then all the pagination links get disappeared. I have also checked with putting below code -
jimport('joomla.application.module.helper');
$mods = JModuleHelper::getModules('cblogin');
echo JModuleHelper::renderModule($mods[0]);
but, nothing has changed. Is there any other solution to load module into html code?
If you want to add modules to articles, one way is to add a custom position to the article then assign the module to that position. In the article editor add this code
[loadposition myNewPosition]
Then you can assign any module to myNewPosition on the position option. Make sure the module is assigned to all pages.
We've been noticing an increase in number of broken links on our sitecore website.
Some it is due to
User Training
Publishing Issues (linked page is not yet published)
Maybe content editor issues
It's been hard to verify some of these but sometimes the link might have the authoring page URL (which means someone didn't follow the SOP), sometimes they have a strange url like /shell/Content Editor/...
So we are trying to proactively fix these before the pages go live.
I had a couple ideas like writing a Handler that would look through all "Rich Text Fields" and looking for inconsistencies (like authoring server URL). Also using a crawler-type of validator could help us (http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html#Description) but we were wondering what the community was doing to address this issue.
The "internal link checker" usually works well but doesn't detect many of this erroneous setups (as I believe it sees them as 'external links').
Your input is greatly appreciated!
If you have RichText fields and create internal links, your internal link looks like this in the HTML view: "a href="~/link.aspx?_id=EB3AD128E7BF4F3C9F3812F701D7724E&_z=z" and when you hover with your mouse over it, is show "/Sitecore/Shell/Controls/Rich Text Editor/" before the ~/link.aspx. This is normal behavior. This link is modified to a normal link during rendering of the RTE field.
However, be sure to use the Sitecore controls like to render these RTE fields and to render links. Also using sc:fld() in XSLT instead of sc:field() can create strange links because sc:fld is rendering the raw value of the field.
In all of the Sitecore projects I have been working on, I didn't have much issues with broken links.
There is a known bug with copy-pasting links from a rich text editor, where path info is appended to the link (generating the /shell/Content Editor/ stuff).
Sitecore have a fix for it here:
http://sdn.sitecore.net/Products/Sitecore%20V5/Sitecore%20CMS%206/ReleaseNotes/KnownIssues%20Recommended/Copying%20and%20pasting%20link%20in%20rt%20fields%20may%20break%20the%20link.aspx
I would suggest a new Validation Action added to the workflow command before the items are finalized. Then you could actively stop them from being published and give immediate feedback. If you're not using workflows, you could add a new item level validator, but those often get ignored in my experience -- too many false positives on the existing validators.
SOLVED: Has been a bug in grappelli-safe, which is the grappelli fork used for Mezzanine. Should be solved by now.
I have never used grappelli before switching to Mezzanine, so i do not know if this is standard behaviour, but i would be very surprised.
This is what happened: after installing Mezzanine everything worked fine, and Grappelli skinned my admin nicely. A few hours later i realized i could not use the column header row to sort objects by the value of that row. The row headers are only links, that reload the page. I'm pretty sure that these links should be overridden by some javascript to allow sorting, but there is no 404 or other error in retrieving the static files.
If someone could confirm that i'm really hunting a bug that would be great. I would hate to use hours for tracking something that is just normal behaviour. And if someone else knows how to fix that, or what script would be responsible for overriding the links, that would be even better.
I hate not to be more specific, but that's all i have right now... :(
Ah, one more thing:
A bit more specific at least: What i want to do is to click on "Status" to sort by the status column. But "Status" is a link to the current page, and therefore just reloads the page.
This just happened to me: It can also be caused by using django 1.4 with grappelli 2.3.8 (both current in pipi)
