Message in script never gets passed - facebook-graph-api

I have been trying to get the following code that I got from the Facebook Developer site to work properly from a Lotus Domino application:
<html>
<head>
<title>My Great Website</title>
</head>
<body>
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<script src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js">
</script>
<script>
FB.init({
appId:####################, cookie:true,
status:true, xfbml:true
});
FB.ui({ method: 'feed',
message: 'Facebook for Websites is super-cool'});
</script>
</body>
The popup opens (only from Firefox, not from IE) but the message text never gets passed. Any ideas why? Any help would be much appreciated.

The message field has been deprecated. The user must enter their own message into that box. The documentation is wrong.

Get the value of a html text box in office share point

How to get the HTML text box value to show alert message in office share point.
function show(){
alert('test:' + $("#txtPrice").val());
}
After I have deployed the project from visual studio (successful deploy) and I go to my office share point site the alert is not showed. How can I get the text box value?`
Where you Call your show function?
Have you load jQuery library?
You'd better provide more details for your solution.
Update:
The code is fine, make sure the jQuery library is loaded correctly and try to add your site to trust site to check whether you disable JavaScript for your browser.
<!DOCTYPE html>

Execute Pepper webpage on computer

So I want to use the console of Mozilla in my computer to see what errors have the page that is normally executed by Pepper robot in his tablet, because console.log() is not displayed on Choregraphe log.
I have tried to call the robot qimessaging.js library from computer but it throws an error:
SyntaxError: The URI is malformed. qimessaging.js:12
The html is there:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<title>Video</title>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-3.2.1.min.js"></script>
<script type = "text/javascript" src="http://nao:nao#192.168.1.238/libs/qimessaging/1.0/qimessaging.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/video.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<canvas width = "320px" height = "240px"></canvas>
<p id="log">log</p>
</body>
</html>
Is there a way to call the qimessaging.js without errors to test the web in my computer?
Instead of console.log() you can use alert().
Also you can connect with your PC browser with this link robot_ip/apps/your_app_name/index.html', but your index.html must be in sub folder named html.
You can also test from your computer if you import the script from the robot directly:
<script src="http://12.34.56.78/libs/qi/2/qi.js"></script>
Then when you open a session, add the robot url as a third argument of the QiSession:
QiSession( onSuccess, onError, "12.34.56.78:80" );
Then your browser will connect to your remote robot.

Instafeed tutorial, pictures are not loading

I am trying to implement the instafeed tutorial to just show some instagram pictures.
I am working on PyCharm using Django.
Here is my folder hierarchy:
/test_project/js/instafeed.min.js
I have a suspicion that I am not referencing the 'src' correctly. I had 'Cannot resolve directory' warnings before, but I got them to disappear by playing around with the Source preferences.
Here's the HTML code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head lang="en">
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<style>
</style>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/instafeed.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
var feed = new Instafeed({
get: 'tagged',
tagName: 'awesome',
clientId: 'b8dacdbf587f41798d8dfb03e3f7a29',
useHTTP: true
});
feed.run();
</script>
</head>
<body>
<div id="instafeed">
</div>
</body>
</html>
I used the 'useHTTP:true' because I saw on another answer that this needs to be set to true to work on a local machine. I've looked at how the code was used in other tutorials and implementations, but I don't see how my code is any different.
Thanks for the help!
Instafeed needs jQuery (the documentation says that you don't need, but i got some errors without it), so make sure you have both libs loaded correctly.
Try with this:
<script src="//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="//cdn.lukej.me/instafeed.js/1.2.0/instafeed.min.js"></script>

Interleaved closing tag error in Handlebars (Ember.js)

I recently decided to try Ember.js.
I set up a small application, but I can't get something to work.
I have a file app.html
<!doctype>
<html>
<head>
...
</head>
<body>
<script type="text/x-handlebars">
...
</script>
</body>
</html>
Now, of course, this doesn't render anything. I include handlebars.js, ember.js, and app.js and now then everything renders properly.
The problem is that when I try to add something with curly braces, the output is blank. For example, if I set some variables in my JS files and want to display it in my app, like <h1>{{title}}</h1>, I get <h1></h1>. When I try to put {{input value="Username"}}, nothing gets displayed.
I get no error messages, except when I use closing tags. For example, this
{{#link-to "http://google.ca"}}Link{{/link-to}}
Will make my whole web page simply display
line 117: interleaved closing tag: link-to
I have no idea what is wrong. Even googling the error message doesn't help much.
Any hint?รง
UPDATE
This code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>Ember Starter Kit</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/normalize/2.1.0/normalize.css">
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="http://builds.handlebarsjs.com.s3.amazonaws.com/handlebars-v1.3.0.js"></script>
<script src="http://builds.emberjs.com/tags/v1.8.0/ember.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
App = Ember.Application.create();
App.Router.map(function() {
// put your routes here
});
App.IndexRoute = Ember.Route.extend({
model: function() {
return ['red', 'yellow', 'blue'];
}
});
</script>
</head>
<body>
<script type="text/x-handlebars">
<h2>Welcome to Ember.js</h2>
{{outlet}}
</script>
<script type="text/x-handlebars" data-template-name="index">
Link
<ul>
{{#each item in model}}
<li>{{item}}</li>
{{/each}}
</ul>
</script>
</body>
</html>
Renders a blank page with this error message:
line 36: interleaved closing tag: each
I'm not sure that's normal.
link-to is meant for ember routes only. (http://emberjs.com/guides/templates/links/)
In your case I would just write the html for the link in the template directly.
Here is a small sample ember.js app with the google.ca link, I have a feeling that your html may not be setup correctly with an outlet and a template:
http://emberjs.jsbin.com/qivunivabo/3/edit
I found the problem and this is really stupid.
My HTML files are delivered by a framework that uses Mustache as its template engine (server side) and therefore it renders all the {{something}} tags before sending the output to the broswer.

get email when someone hits facebook likebutton on website

is it possible for me to receive an email when someone hits a likebutton on my website?
I have been looking into this and I can only assume it has to be possible with the edge.create option but for the life of me, I have no idea how to set this up to trigger an email being sent.
any ideas??
You need to subscribe to the click event of the like button.
You can do this via the FB.Event.subscribe function.
Here is some code for a working sample:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml">
<head>
<script src="http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js"></script>
<script>
FB.init({status:true,cookie:true,xfbml:true});
FB.Event.subscribe('edge.create', function(href, widget)
{
//insert your code to send email here
alert('someone just clicked the like button');
});
</script>
</head>
<body>
<div id="fb-root"></div>
<fb:like href="http://www.example.com/" show_faces="false" width="450" font="verdana"></fb:like>
</body>
Hope this helps.
