I'm working on an app our customers will install on their page. I try to make the following sequence without success :
get user permissions
let the user choose the page he wants to install the app
add the app to his page with facebook.com/add.php?api_key=xxxx&pages&page=xxxx
Redirect the user to our page app where he will be able to configure it
This last step is making me crazy. The user is allways redirected to his page and I don't know how to change the page to target. We try the next parameter in the add.php link but it does nothing
Any idea on the way to do it ?
Thanks in advance folks
Have you tried using the &redirect_uri=YOUR_URL paramater?

OneLink works fine around the web app in regular state.
We need to redirect user to App Login/HomeScreen if user navigate to /login in browser.
But,
if user write the link directly in address line, it will redirect him/her to App Store.
if user reload exisiting page, it can redirect him/her to App Store too
I suspect there is a problem with Cookie, but I could not identify which one and how to fix it
Missing some info about the browser here as the behaviour you are talking about may differ between them.
It's possible that a specific param is missing here but need to know the info about the OS as well.
If you can contact the support, they will be happy to help .

http://docs.joomla.org/Screen.menus.edit.15#Internal_Link_-_User
please anyone help me.
alot of thanks in Advance)))
you can get this working by setting up access level of all your menu items as registered. Except the one you want to use for login page.
I would not recommend setting up access levels on your menu at this stage of building your site.
If all you're trying to achieve is that everyone has to have a username and password to get to the site, I would use folder security through your hosting control panel(CPANEL or PLESK probably).
Setting up Folder security here will mean users have to login to get to the site but the site can be built as if it were public.
Setting menu security in Joomla can lead to confusing beginner experience when items don't show and you can't figure out why.
I've seen a similar question asked a few times, but usually it is from people trying to find out which Page is currently accessing their Tab app. (Which you can do by inspecting the signed_request.)
I'm trying to build a UI that will show the user all the Pages that he/she is an Admin of, and then display which of those Pages have my Tab app already installed. I'd like to make a FB graph API call to either a) get the list of Pages that have my Tab app installed or b) get a yes/no answer for whether a particular Page has it installed. Is this possible?
As a fallback, I will make a table in my database to track Page IDs whenever a Page views my Tab (using the aforementioned signed_request) but this won't be as good, because it won't know when someone has uninstalled the Tab from a Page.
To be complete (for future readers): this does not require manage_pages. You can also use the FB app's token. Also see: Check if page tab app is still installed
In the general case, 'no', without keeping track on your side via the signed_request but if you're already obtaining manage_pages access from the user it's pretty trivial to check if a particular app (i.e, yours) is installed on the page
See the page documentation for details, relevant part:
You can test if a specific app is installed on a page profile tab by issuing an
HTTP GET to PAGE_ID/tabs/APP_ID. If the app is installed, this will return the
following fields:
(you'll need the page access token from the user's /accounts connection for that call
I just got my website, www.anointedmanna.com and would like to add a facebook login option for my guests. I have followed all of the steps but I am getting errors. Facebook development assisted me to a point but I don't understand how to fix this.
According to facebook development the problem with this is issue is as follows:
APP_ID in this URL needs to be replaced with your actual app ID and not left that way.
I don't know what this means, can anyone explain? Or is there a step by step option to assist with setting all of this up? it is quite confusing
See: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/login/
When you click [Get Code], where it says APP_ID you need to replace that with your facebook app's app id.
I'm running a relatively fresh Django app that I haven't added much to. I tried to set up the admin (which I've done on plenty of other apps) to create some sample data while I build out the app, but whenever I try to log in with the super user account I created I get kicked back to the login screen.
When I enter incorrect credentials, I see the proper error message... I just can't get it to take me past the login screen to the admin when I have correct credentials. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it? I'm at a dead end troubleshooting.
