On my website you can like multiple links which is expected these days, however if someone likes multiple pages/links on one day is there a way to make it so they group together on the users profile simler to fb pages?

I am trying to track pageviews on Google Analytics for knowledge base articles (on Zendesk).
Each article has a unique number. However, the title of the page is sometimes appended to the URL, and GA tracks this as a separate page. If the title of the article changes, it generates a new URL.
For example, these would all be the same article, so I want to see a single pageviews count, but GA would show as 3 separate stats

I want GA to roll up the articles matching on the unique number, and ignoring everything after that. Is there a built-in way to do this? Is there a way to do this with Regex? Where would I add the Regex for the Content Drilldown page? Help!

Analytics cannot know in an integrated way which part of the URL interests you or which distinguishes one page from another.
What you should do is understand when in your system the page title is appended to the URL and avoid it.
For future data you can try to clean the data with a regex before it arrives in Analytics, for example with GTM, but this could compromise the other URL cases that need to be handled differently.
In general, if in the Analytics reports you filter the URLs for an identifier, for example 360039413394, in the first row of the report you can see the aggregated values of all the URLs that contain that string. So if you need to verify a particular product page you can use this workaround when viewing data.
In my Django setup I have a group called "authors". I want to show their posts on the front page, sorted by date. All of the template examples I can find for groups involve checking the group membership of the currently logged in user, which is not what I want. I simply want to aggregate based on group membership globally, not authenticate or display based on group membership of the user. This seems like it should be a straightforward and common approach, but I'm having a hard time finding a way to do it (and I am also a novice, which does not help I'm sure).

You can do this:

Now, you have the list of authors, you can query the list of posts by these users and display it on the home page.
I want to be able to count the total number of likes for a post or photo no matter how many times the post has been shared and reshared.
I want to know how popular a post is across the whole Facebook Universe.
Is this even possible?
This is not fully possible, for these reasons:
Facebook does not indicate via the API whether a post is a re-share
of another post (there is no "via" property on Post objects, in
other words). Nor is there a property that indicates where or how
many times a particular post has been re-shared.
Many posts on Facebook use privacy settings set by the user creating the post, and
this applies to re-shared stories as well. Your app has access to
whatever its users give it permission to read, but that does not
grant it access to the feeds of all users on Facebook.
At most, you could theoretically do this (although I am not sure if there are other limitations in place to prevent this):
Search all PUBLIC posts on Facebook, for text that matches the text in the post you want to track. (see the documentation under "Searching" here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/). Aggregate the Likes for all of these posts. Just understand that this is only the subset of posts that your app is capable of viewing.
So I would think this would be an easy thing to do, but I'm completely lost right now. I have a website. It has a facebook page. That fb page has a bunch of likes and all is good. We also have the "like" button on various webpages throughout our website. If I go to those webpages individually, I can see how many people have hit the like button, but I have not found any where to see some reports. Ideally, I'd like to see:
The most popular (liked) webpages on our website
The total number of interactions (likes) across my domain
The same basic demographic information that is available for our fb page
We have had the like button integrated for a few months now, but I'm not sure if it should be linked to our fb page or if I have to create a custom app to associate it with. Right now we have it assigned to our fb page.

We have a large website with about 200,000 like buttons spread across the pages of our domain. I can go to our insights page to get overall number of likes on a particular day, but can we get say the top ten pages that were most liked in a particular day/week/month. I don't see anything in FQL (at least that I can decipher) that allows one to do this.
Go to http://www.facebook.com/insights/
then click "Insights for your domain" and follow the instructions how to link domain for your profile and you will be able to follow likes. I just find out that cos I have needed that also.
