hi i develop the nokia n97 application on nokia qt sdk but when i run the project on device it cause th os compatabiliy error
so please help me which changes require in my qt project so it can run on my device.

If you install the sis on the phone manually , it'll tell you what the exact error is .

Qmake on Windows

I have a project written in Qt that I have no problems compiling and running on Linux. The command line is:
qmake ../trunk/GSDTesting.pro
The process on Linux was really simple: install a few dependencies using apt and you are off.
My task is to recompile the same program on Windows using Visual Studio C++ compiler, but the problem is I don't know how to start. There is no such thing as qmake for Windows.
Can someone give me a few hints where to start. Please note that I don't know QT almost at all, my task is just to debug some issue unrelated to QT.
Are you using terminal exclusively on Windows? If so, maybe this image of example build steps straight from Qt Creater 4.14.2 may help you:
As you can see the image of the default Qt creator build steps list the file path where 'qmake.exe' can be located on a local installation of the toolchain.
If you can use a machine with a display I find using the Qt creator GUI is not all that bad.

IMPORTANT:
You will need to make a Qt account, login to your account, and then download the open-source version of the API. The commercial version of the same source is acquired differently/seperately.
Otherwise, if you cannot use the GUI, can I request some clarification on why you cannot use Qt creator on your Windows installation?

IONIC 2, debuging ios application - emulate?target return 404

I tried to build ios version of my ionic application which I build using Visual Studio 2017, but it seems it never can "install" to the simulator. The simulator is launched on the mac computer, but the application is not running, even I cannot find the icon in the simulator.
I suspect that it because the wrong naming of the target device.
I notice there is /cordova/build/.../emulate?target=iPhone+5 404 line on the mac's terminal, while when I try to the list the available target, it should be target=iPhone-5.
I'm a newbie in ionic and I don't know if it is the cause of problem that make the application is not shown at the emulator.
If it is not the problem, is there anybody can help me to find out what is the cause so the application cannot be debugged (not shown in the emulator)?
If it is the cause of the problem, then how can I change the command send from visual studio to the mac computer?

Qt deployment issue (MinGW inside)

I try to deploy a Qt app on a basic Windows 7 Pro SP1 machine.
My app works fine when I run it inside Qt Creator or on any machine with Qt insllated.
I have read a lot of posts and try many different things without success.

Windeploy Qt
Quick and dirty method of Qt Wiki
Add mingwm10.dll
Add libEGL.dll
Check loaded dll with dependency walker
Check loaded dll with Qt Creator debugger
My app crashes when I run it with these two error messages :
This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows".
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unsual way. Please contact...
This is my current tree (obtained with windeployqt) :

With dependency walker, I have some red lines even if the app runs normally but nothing interesting.
Dev machine info :
Windows 7 Pro Sp1 64 Bits
Qt Creator 3.3.0
MinGW 4.9.1 32 Bits
Qt SDK 5.4.0
I'm probably doing something wrong but what ?!
The executable seems to search something in the Qt base directory because when I rename it the deployed app doesn't want to work anymore.
Need help please ;)
Ok, I found the solution...
I added this line at the very beginning of my main function :
QApplication::addLibraryPath("./");
After that, windeployqt does the job.
I hope it will help someone in the future.

How to get Qt working on the blackberry playbook

I am completely frustrated because I have been trying to install Qt on Blackberry Playbook for over a month now. I have followed every single tutorial out there (so much that every time I google Qt and playbook, all links are purple instead of blue). I have downloaded Qt-everywhere source code and tried to compile it using the flags found here, but it tells me that it cannot install opengl, sqlite etc, so I use the --continue option with ./configure and that too crashes saying that it can't find qcc.
I have noticed a Qt library directory when browsing incudes in the qnx IDE, in the project explorer. The thing is when i write a Qt application it can't find the headers.
So Please Help, anyone who has done this in the RECENT past . ps. i am new to cross compiling on linux systems.
Probably quite late to say, but I have created a BlackBerry Native Plugin for Visual Studio 2015, where you can develop apps for BlackBerry PlayBook and Qt in particular.
Simply create new project "Other Languages / BlackBerry Projects / Qt / PlayBook - Qt4 Core Application" and you are ready to go. It downloads all required libraries via NuGet during first build.

qt / creator: dyld: Library not loaded [duplicate]

I developed one Qt application in Mac using Qt creator,Its working fine on my development machine.Then I copied the project output from my build directory to a new machine without Qt framework,but its not working in that machine, Do I need to install any frame work for running Qt application in Mac. How I can include qt framework in my application when deploying the project output?

The binary will be in your Debug or Release folder and it will be as .app
(.app extension may be hidden )
make sure you copy that and it should work fine as the binary has all its dependencies packed together
