I've recently managed to get the betas of Codeigniter 2.0 and Doctrine 2.0 working together, thanks to the help from this guide: http://eryr.wordpress.com/2010/09/26/integrating-doctrine-2-with-codeigniter-2/
I have set up the CLI as set out in that guide, but I can't run any commands - I type doctrine and get the menu and list of commands, but then when I type a command like doctrine orm:schema-tool:create it just loads the same screen again with the list of commands. I don't get any error messages or anything.

Hey, I just got this all working together myself.
One thing, it depends on how you DL'd doctrine to begin with. I DL'd directly, no SVN or GIT in other words.
I ended putting my cli-config.php, doctrine.php and Doctrine.php in "application/tools" dir. "tools" is a dir I just created. It did not exist before.
The current way it's set up with the examples from that link you gave, I think they all need to be in "application/libraries", so if you want to move them to "application/tools" you need to update those paths.
So for example:
require_once CURPATH.'/../config/database.php';
This is saying to go up from 'application\tools' to 'application\config' and get that 'database.php' file.
require_once CURPATH.'/../libraries/Doctrine/Common/ClassLoader.php';
And This is doing the same, except that it is going into "application\libraries\Doctrine\Common" and looking for "ClassLoader.php"
Does that help?
Anyone having this trouble should try two things:
First of all instead of just typing doctrine command make sure you type php doctrine.php command.
Also make sure you have adjusted your system path correctly instead of your user account path.
Once I did both of those things it worked for me fine. Bit confusing though as the first command does work to bring up the list of possibilities, but not when you run any actual command.

I am trying to add multiple jetty bases to jetty server. Documentation says it is possible without providing the information on how to do it.
So in /etc/default/jetty file with single jetty base is which works is

Create more /etc/default/<name> entries.
Say you want 3 bases.
Lets call them tau, upsilon, and phi.
You'll create ...
/etc/default/tau
/etc/default/upsilon
/etc/default/phi
each of which is a standalone instance of Jetty, with their own ${jetty.base} directory and a common ${jetty.home} directory.
The jetty.sh you (likely) copied into place for your service entry also needs the same name.
So, cp jetty.sh /path/to/service.d/tau.sh becomes how /etc/default/tau is used/searched for.
(Note: depending on your chosen shell, a symlink will probably work too)
I've inherited an opencart 1.5.5.1 site and am completely new to the cms. From what I've been able to gather, it was built by a competent developer but then went through a hack-it-up development team, and then on to me. So, I really don't know what all to expect from it.
I currently have a module that is rendering in the left sidebar and I don't know why it's rendering there. The only file I can find in the file stack related at all to this "module" is a single template file within the catalog directory structure called:
/catalog/view/theme/mytheme/template/module/affiliate_profile_select.tpl
All of the other installed modules on the site seem to have lots of other files associated with them, whose locations are verified by the research I've done on creating opencart modules: ie, module files in the following directories:
/catalog/controller/module/
/catalog/language/english/module/
/catalog/model/module/
/catalog/view/theme/mytheme/template/module/
/admin/controller/module/
/admin/language/english/module/
/admin/model/module/
/admin/view/template/module/
From what I've been able to find though, this single file (affiliate_profile_select.tpl) is the only file in the file stack that is associated with this module.
I can't find anything related to this module, and/or file, inside any of the vqmod php or xml files.
I can't find anything related to this module in the admin area. I've tried searching through all of the installed modules for other generic identifiers (the section view is rendering at the very top of the left-sidebar on most non-logged-in pages, so I'm looking for layout locations of "Left Sidebar" and positions less than 2), but haven't found anything.
And yet, the section is obviously rendering on the site, so it has to be there somewhere. In fact, it's rendering in two places. It's also in the top-content section of the mobile view of the home page.
Right now it's almost feeling like it was a module that had been written, installed, and configured, and then someone deleted all but one of the files associated with the module. Could a situation like that happen?
Is there any way to track this issue down by querying the database? Or would the template inclusion obviously be inside a file somewhere and I just need to find it? To complicate matters, the hosting company doesn't allow remote login with a console (from what I can tell). Otherwise I'd just have run a grep for the filename in case someone had just thrown an "include()" statement in somewhere. The only place I've checked for something like that so far was in the left-sidebar template file:
/catalog/view/theme/default/template/common/column_left.tpl
but it's just a simple for-loop that echoes out the module views.
Any help or direction on how I might be able to track this problem down would be of significant help.
In Opencart, .tpl (template) files are always called by controllers which as you probably guessed are in catalog/controller/. An if it's a module (showing in left sidebar position, it's probably going to be in catalog/controller/module/. First order of business would be to find the controller that's calling the template you referred to. I'd probably start by getting into a shell and doing something like this from the site's docroot:
grep -r affiliate_profile_select .
From there you should be able to find the associated module controller and any other logic involved. Sometimes people use vQmod to add something on to a pre-existing module so that can possibly explain the lack of other similarly named files.

Well I have checked and checked and rerun this installation and I cannot figure out what the problem is. I assume it has something to do with the version of Dajaxice I am using and the version the installation instructions are, but those details are usually missing.
At this point in the process, I have everything setup to accomplish a very simple task. Load a webpage from the IP:8000 (ie 1.2.3.4:8000) and have that page load a simple html form button. Once that button is pressed, the page should then send a mesage (using dajaxice) to the server, and once it returns an alert box will pop up, proving that the dajaxice install is working.
So, I have:

I am stumped. I have been trying many different things, but the documentation available seems so sporadic. It's gotta be something simple I am messing up, but I cannot seem to find it.
Currently, the "Say Hello!" button shows up on the screen, but nothing happens when you press it. Any ideas?

The way I have it all organized, DjangoAjax is just the folder containing the Django project. ajax_prac is the project, and practice is an app. Also you'll see a folder called django_media...that's pretty self explanatory, it just holds all the "media" for my Django projects, including jquery.js and jquery.dajax.core.js
If there are some details that I have smudged in the code, contrary to the installation guide, I apologize. I have been working through so many iterations of this, that it is likely I could've forgotten to change something back when making this post.

All the documentation weirdness is probably related with the new release I made yesterday (8 hours ago). Probably you was using an old version of dajaxice reading the new documentation.
I've release django-dajaxice (0.5) and django-dajax (0.9.1), both fully compatible with the last version of Django (1.4.1).

I.e. It must reference a Python module that contains your registered Dajaxice view. And according to your sample code, ajax_prac.practice.views exists while ajax.sayhello does not.
Also the Python module must be prefaced with "Dajaxice" (which is probably a significant source of confusion).
I've done some poking around and trial and error but I'm not coming up for a solution to this problem I have.

I have one site that points to the API folder (http://api.site.com) and another that points to the overall root (http://site.com)
From Api\Resource\index.cfm. I'm trying to createObject() on Objects\Object.cfc. I set up a mapping, either in CF Admin, or API\Application.cfc with this.mappings["/SiteRoot"] = "C:\wwwroot". Inside the index.cfm I do createObject("component","SiteRoot.Objects.Object"). This correctly access the Object.cfc.
The issue I'm having is that it fails because Object.cfc instantiates the Utilities\Util.cfc just by createObject("component","Utilities.Util"). The error is that Utilities.Util cannot be found.
There are other files in the very bottom root that can obviously call Object.cfc with no problems since it just goes into the Utilities folder naturally.
Any suggestions Or do I really need to just break the API Folder out of this root entirely?

UPDATE
It's not letting me answer my own question just yet but I wanted to post here before others chimed in.
Despite reiniting the application and restarting the application server, once or twice it wasn't working. Then suddenly, it just went and worked as I would have expected. Object.cfc could find Util.cfc correctly based on it's relative path.
I gave upvotes to those who responded as they were perfectly viable alternatives and solutions and would have gone with one of them had this not just started working. Demons, I tell you. Demons.

I think I would change your second create object call (the utilities one) to createObject("SiteRoot.Utilities.Util") ? Making sure that one mapping "governs" the starting point for all the objects no matter where instantiated.
If you really cannot change your code then just create a ColdFusion mapping called Utilities pointed at the Utilities folder.

Of course this problem won't prevent you from running your application on ColdFusion. It is just an IDE warning that something is wrong.
You have a few options.
Try using a lowercase N in structName. i.e. structname. ColdFusion is not case-sensitive, but Java is, and CFEclipse is a Java application.
If that does not work, then it probably means that the dictionary file that drives the code assist is not correct. You can go earch forthose XML files and update them to include that attribute.
You can use CFBuilder. I know you said you can't, but I have to question why. You know there is a free version that is just as good as CFEclipse, right?
The problem is that there's a casing glitch in that file Peter mentions. There's one reference to "structName" to define the attribute itself, and another "structname" which is in the list defining which attributes are needed for action="info". If you make them both the same, then restart Eclipse, you should be OK (that's I've needed to do to make the error indicator go away).
